Wow the majority of folks inside this flushing Wendy's are sitting inside just to hang out but I am here to order a large frosty , large diet coke and a grill chicken sandwich for lunch while my cuz is working nearby . If you need to run some errands and pick things up. Keep in mind this is a chain store and for the most part the staff are youngsters and do not have extremely high expectations. The establishment is clean and maintained. Staff are warm and welcoming . Sometimes they do seem to be under staffed and thus taking a little longer than usual. For the most part the staff are friendly and welcoming. Our orders were taken accordingly and for the most part promptly and warm. When need something quick and in the area it will suffice. They will sell the exact same food as every other Wendy's. (In my case a chicken nuggets kids' meal for 2 dollars and some change.) There was lettuce laying on the ground and water that was not cleaned up. I did not get the sense it wasn't clean, just didn't meet the exacting standards that chirpy lady with red hair would require. I got the food and headed out. We headed in and L shows the lady at the register the coupon on my phone and she had no idea what to do with it. The manager? appeared quickly and told us we have to print it out to use it. Um it's on an app. You don't print coupons using an app. That's the whole point of an app on the phone! It's not like there's even a bar code to scan. It even said to show it to the cashier. It's just a damn number! So we turn to leave cuz we didn't care for it but instead of losing a customer, he tells us.. I'll give it to you this time, but next time you need to print it out. Compared to other Wendy's restaurants, the service here is pretty slow. There aren't a lot of workers working here so whenever a large group of people come in it takes them much longer to serve food out. This place also isn't very well maintained, there was food on the floor when we came in and no one was sweeping it up. The menu is the exact same as every other Wendy's fast food restaurants. I ordered the Baconator and the bun's were so oily. I don't want to hold a burger that's been touched all over the place by greasy hands (I find myself in a peculiar place talking about this because this isn't the healthiest thing to eat out their), but at least give me some clean, soft burger buns to hold onto (okay that was weird to). Let's get it straight, this place is a Wendy's. We all know the downside of Wendy's, it's fast-food, completely unhealthy, and worst of all the logo is a ginger child. Damnation. But let's focus on the unique aspects of this specific Wendy's. It's pretty clean, even the bathroom, which is amazing considering the dump of a strip-mall it's in. It also has a decent amount of seating and free parking. Plus and plus. Sometimes the line can be long on the weekend, but it moves along as one would expect. There's no drive-thru, so you have to get your fat lazy ass out of your car. Truly a sad prospect which brings a tear to my eye. Beyond that, it's the same thing you get at any Wendy's, dirt cheap food served quickly.
