I got the chicken Italian wrap from here and I must say it was actually very good no complaints here. The food was fresh and the wrap was well put together. The wait time for the food was good and the employees seemed friendly and patient with my initial indecisiveness of what to get since there's plenty of options to choose from. The place was clean and stays open up late, not to mention plenty of seating to go around. I would definitely come back here for more food.

Today's iteration of whole chicken was exceptional juicy and not too charred. Prompt delivery as well.

I ordered the charcoal broiled whole chicken and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Usually I'm indifferent about rotisserie chickens cause they come out dry or not flavorful. This one was both juicy and flavorful. I ordered a side of pita on top of what came with the Chicken and they were still warm when I got them. I also got the lamb gyro platter which was okay. Fresh salad but okay lamb gyro

This location used to be occupied by a McDonald's for many years. When the Chicken Shack first opened, it looked like another generic fast food place to me. They have improved their menu over the years (mainly adding a lot of Greek food) and have an excellent selection nowadays. Besides their signature flame broiled chicken, they also offer burgers, ribs, gyro platters, shawarma, souvlaki, sweet potato fries, spinach pie, salad and even soup. I have tried several items from here and in general, the food is fresh with large portions. Coupled with the extensive menu, you could do a lot worse for a dining choice. My only criticism is that sometimes the food (especially their chicken) can be a little dry.

Their food is great. It's alway fresh and made when ordered so you do have to wait a little, but worth it. Portions are generous and nicely served when it's to go or eat in. The place is kept clean and it's very inviting...

Absolutely the best lunch/dinner meal I had in a long time via DoorDash . The food was well seasoned, hot, and very clean. Will definitely like to visit in person , and order again in the future . Great job !!

Intro: Ordered takeout because I was in a rush and I was glad I was introduced to this restaurant. The food arrived neatly packaged and very warm. Food: Decided to order the full rack of ribs to share. The portion size was generous and we had some left over. The ribs had plenty of meat on them, all of which was tender and juicy. The sauce was flavorful without being too sweet. The meal came with a side of some warm pita bread which was a great complement to the ribs. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not ordering any sides but if the trend continues, I believe they have the potential to be great. I will definitely be ordering from them in the future. Tl;dr: solid BBQ restaurant My rating: 7/10

    Chicken Mediterranean Wrap

Heard good things about this chicken spot from fellow Yelpers, decided to give it a try. Ordered at the counter, for a Chicken Mediterranean wrap without olives and more Feta-Store was willing to accommodate to my request. The wait for my order was over 15 minutes, but it was worth it- my wrap tasted really good. Wrap was warm with lots of romaine lettuce and feta cheese--chicken was a bit on the drier side though. Wrap was about $10 bucks- which is a typical price for lunch now. There are plenty of tables for dine-in and store kept clean. Will come back to try their famous rotisserie Chicken.

    Chicken soulvlaki.

This is the small chicken soulvlaki platter. The food is one hundred percent perfect, one hundred percent of the time. There was so much flavor. I asked for the chicken to be well cooked and it was STILL juicy.

Great value too (for $50 you can get a family combo that includes a variety of sandwiches, wraps, wings, A WHOLE CHICKEN, fries, nuggets, cheese sticks, and a large soda!). Aside from the soft drinks, they also serve hot/iced espresso and coffee. Seriously, don't sleep on the espresso drinks... you can save a few "bucks" by coming here instead and supporting this small business (hehe, see what I did there?). Clean indoor seating is available (small tables that fit about 4 adults). The girl at the counter is always super sweet. My toddler likes her a lot and wants to play with her and visit every so often. The food across the board is delicious. I have pretty much tried everything here except a few of the appetizers and the pistol legs. The only item that I don't particularly like is the pumpkin pie, while it's tasty and has a nice texture I don't really taste any pumpkin. I hope this place stays open would really be a good staple and some added variety to the restaurants available in the few blocks of stores located in this section of 108 street.

I came in and saw they had lunch specials, including one that said ANY sandwich and a drink. I went to order and was told that the sandwich I wanted was not part of the lunch special, despite the special saying it includes, quite literally, any sandwich. Okay, not great, but whatever. I sat down at what felt like a table leftover from a fast food restaurant circa 1999 and waited for my food. When it came I noticed the chicken sandwich was more batter than chicken and the fries had an overly greasy feel, like they'd been sitting too long in the air fryer. The sauce on the chicken was flavorful but the fries left such a bad taste in my mouth that I had to brush my teeth immediately after eating. To top it all off, I had a bad stomach for most of the following 24 hours. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Name or order number is called when order is ready. Finally saw Palabok fiesta on the menu (When first opened, I didn't notice it on the menu, and in a couple of Manhattan locations I've been to.) There's a combo @ ~$35 - with 10-pc chicken, 3 small sides. Pricier compared to other fast food chicken places. Can get spaghetti as a side. Classic fried chicken is ok-better when eaten right away for the crispiness; not too salty but plain tasting to me (and I prefer without gravy). I used to get the spicy ones so maybe next time. Peach mango pie was good but just syrupy, not as much fruit bits. Mango coconut quencher with jelly was ok, sweet, similar to fruit punch but I like this better. Restrooms available, with a code. Everything was hot and fresh, and their chicken in the sandwich was AMAZING! I rather go here than Chic-Fil-A inside QCM's food court around the corner! Also, they were VERY hospitable! Good mannered, even gave me a lot of napkins as it gets messy handling the chickenjoy. They even catered towards my side interest of getting me a clean box for collector's purposes; they went above and beyond by not only giving me a flattened clean box, but also packaging the other foods in smaller containers and bags to keep the current box holding them CLEAN! Summarily, they are VERY hospitable and their food tastes amazing! What a neighborhood GEM!! Kuku Korean was fantastic! Fresh, tasty food at reasonable prices!…read more We (6 of us) were in the neighborhood for a Valentine's Day celebration and searched Yelp for a good ethnic restaurant in the area. We came across Kuku Korean and said YESSS, this is the place to go! The only wrench in our plans was that Kuku Korean doesn't take reservations; not even on Valentine's Day! They warned us that they expected to be very busy that evening, and to expect a wait. Ok, we made plans to go, but also made a Resy with another restaurant close by, as a backup plan in case there was a long wait for a table. But really, Kuku Korean was our preferred first choice. After our V Day event, we rushed over to Kuku Korean to see what the wait time was for a table for 6. It was just after 6pm, and the stars were aligned for us, because we got the last large table available! Woo Hoooo! Happy Valentine's Day to us!! We quickly cancelled our Resy with the other restaurant (sorry!) and perused Kuku Korean's fabulous menu. Our MENU (shared by 6ppl): ~ Seafood Pajeon ($24/large): Crispy battered pancake made with green onions & seafood (mussels, clams, squid, and shrimp). This was phenomenal! So much seafood and such a comforting dish...get this! ~ Veg Japche ($21): Stir-fried Korean vermicelli with Kuku soy-garlic Japchae sauce and assorted veggies. This dish was also available with various proteins but we opted for Veg since we were ordering other meat dishes. This dish was so flavorful and delicious. ~ Kuku Bibimbap ($24): Seasoned vegetables over rice, topped with a fried egg. Served with Kuku spicy bibim sauce. Again, you have the option of adding protein to this dish but we kept it veg. Another great dish! ~ Pork Galbi ($28): Char-grilled Pork ribs marinated in Kuku sauce, served with sauteed onions. Served with kimachi, daily banchan & purple rice. The pork was cut in thick slices, which was surprising, but wow, this was phenomenal! So tasty and lean, and just delicious. ~ Beef Bulgogi ($33): Sauteed thinly sliced beef rib-eye marinated in Kuku sauce with mushroom, Served with kimachi, daily banchan & purple rice. Another phenomenal dish. Bursting with flavor. -- Spicy Squid ($28): Stir-fried squid in spicy Kuku gochujang sauce, onions, hot pepper and carrot. Served with kimachi, daily banchan & purple rice. This squid was prepared perfectly; not over cooked nor rubbery! Great dish. - Ban Chan: generous unlimited servings; fresh & delicious. These 6 dishes, plus Ban Chan was perfect for 6 ppl to share. We finished everything and were fully satisfied. Every single dish was delicious and we ALL said we wanted to return to Kuku Korean to repeat some dishes and try new dishes. Customer service and atmosphere were great. The busser staff did an amazing job and were even more attentive than our server (who we only saw twice)...kudos to the bussers! They were so hard working, with a smiling, friendly attitude! Give them a raise! Looking forward to a return visit to Kuku Korean...hopefully SOON!!

We ordered waffle fries and asked for ketchup. When the bill arrived, we were shocked to see a **$2 charge for the ketchup**. At no point were we informed that there would be an extra charge. Not only was the lack of transparency frustrating, but this is also the **first restaurant in my adult life** that has charged for ketchup with an order of fries. It's not about the $2--it's about the principle. Charging for a basic condiment without letting customers know beforehand feels petty and leaves a bad impression. We genuinely liked this place, but this experience has made us rethink whether we'll be coming back.
