This Popeyes location is so horrible. My most recent experience at this location was today. I came in and I tried to place an order, but the staff members working there including a manager were extremely rude and mean for no apparent reason. I tried to explain to them also that the last time I stopped by and ordered the $5 3 piece chicken that the chicken was very stale and the food just was all-around bad. Usually, there is a sandwich waiting for you when you arrive, so they hand you the sandwich before you even have time to pay for it. The thighs and wings are not always great, so I wouldn't recommend ordering them. You never know when they'll be good. The legs are pretty good all the time in my experience. When they first opened i was excited because I have always founf Popeye's too be pretty good at other locations. The buttery biscuits were my favorite. But this place is hit (rarely) or miss (most of the time). The bonafide seems to be saltier here than at other locations. I'll drink a gallon of water and still stay thirsty. The screechy talking manager is rude to the employees and to customers. Not a friendly or inviting environment like the commercials and signage would have you think. i would have rated this location with zero stars. i never had any problems with this location until today. i ordered the five dinner special of ( 2pc leg,thigh, &1 biscuit) and 2 large sides. i was served by mariam. she told me she was going to pack the orders together and i replied it would be fine. thinking all items that are the same, would be in individual boxes or having a big box to fit the orders. upon receiving my order, i checked it before leaving the store. she packed 10pcs of 1 leg, 3 thighs, 2 breast, and 4 wing with 4 biscuits in a $5 meal box. resulting in the biscuits falling apart. really?? lets do math now... if you're packing food in small boxes, at least pack the biscuits and chicken separately. perhaps, she also thought the 5th biscuit would require another box, so she left it out? i'm assuming popeyes has train their servers that saving boxes weighs more than customer satisfaction. in addition, she mess up the order ( even though she spoke clear english), she didn't accept the fact that she was wrong, and tried to blame it on the me. clearly stating "you saw me pack it, why didn't you say something", (really.... was i behind the counter with you??? i was sitting by the tables since there were other customers waiting to order. should i hold her hand while picking out the god damn pieces??? and teach her math while i'm at it????)
