Absolutely phenomenal Wendy's location! I'm a truck driver, so I've eaten at a lot of different locations throughout the country, and I could tell some horror stories about plenty of them. But this location absolutely nailed it. After driving all day up from Phoenix, Arizona, and through Monument Valley, I rolled into the truck stop across the street and walked into Wendy's about as hungry as a hired hand freighting loaded wagons across state lines through red-rock country and hadn't had a decent meal in a week. I stopped in for my usual cheat meal: two Dave's Triples and two medium fries. The beef tasted fresh, the buns were fresh, the vegetables were fresh, and everything was put together just right. The fries were exactly how they should be: golden brown, crisp on the outside, but not burnt, dark, overcooked, or tasting all crazy corroded. For me, the food is what matters most. I've seen some places with bad reviews because a cashier didn't smile or say hi. As an introvert, I'm not going into a fast food restaurant expecting the cashier to be all loquacious. I'm not there for a social circuit. I'm there for the food: good food, cooked properly, seasoned properly, and served the way it should be. That said, the staff was friendly and the service was good, so I have nothing to complain about there either. Came in through the drive thru. Was told to pull up and wait for my order. I waited for twenty minutes before backing up to the window and asked if they forgot about me. They cleared my order, didn't give me any food, and made me wait in my hot car for twenty minutes, AND after I brought it up they told me to pull up and wait AGAIN. I am recovering from surgery and wanted something warm and easy to enjoy while I rest on the couch with my boyfriend. Wendy's sounded good and even tho I've worked for a different Wendy's before and know how things are made, the chili sounded pretty good. We placed an online order at home that way I didn't have to leave the house and my boyfriend could just quickly go get it, we live about 5 minutes away. He went to the drive through and when he got there they informed him that they we out of chili so not only did I not get my chili he didn't get his chili cheese fries so they comped him by giving him baconator fries and a 6 piece garlic Parm nuggets. He gets home and we unpack everything. He is missing his nuggets that he on the side are missing all he had was the 6 piece they comped for a large chili, the hamburger, he had as a meal with the chili cheese fries, didn't have the lettuce he had asked for. He called and was able to go get the nuggets he was missing but it was just a really crappy situation after such a long day. No chili, no chili cheese fries, hamburger not made to order, missing nuggets and garlic Parm nuggets that are farm from how they advertise. First. Let me say that if I could give zero stars I would. My grandson went for a burger at 5:15pm this evening and at 5:38 they still hadn't made it. When I went in to find out why it was taking so long my grandson said they said were busy. There were two people waiting to food in the lobby. I didn't see anyone in the drive-thru. Not all Wendy's are the same that is apparent at this Wendy's. We were the only drive- thru customer and ordered just a couple things. We pulled up to the window and the manager who looked about 18 handed us our drinks with no straws. After about 1:30 seconds he asked us to pull forward. I said "can I please get a straw at least" he handed them to me kinda rude like. So I pulled forward and were waiting and waiting and waiting. After literally 10 minutes some kid walked up and said here's your food and just walked away, no sorry for the wait nothing. I'll tell you I never been treated so rude like at any other Wendy in my life. Shall we say, uncooked food?? I can sum up this food experience as worst fast food experience ever... Cold fries, uncooked hamburgers, and pure yuck!! The place is currently being operated by amateurs!! If you recently ate there and got sick, it may be because you too received food from a broken stove/grill! Let me explain... After taking a big bite of my cold hamburger I decided to take it back in the restaurant to have them make me a new one. Then my sister in law came in to join me because the rest of our families food was also cold and my husbands hamburger was literally raw (mind you he hate 3-4 bites before he realized this). While we were in there complaining we learned part of the grill was down and wasn't at the right temperature to cook our food. Apparently parts of the grill were still working and that's why they couldn't tell it was broken/off/down, but they thanked us for bringing the issue to their attention. Ashton and Kyle both refused to process a refund for our order because our bill was over $20 dollars and Ashton cited "it is a corporate policy and she didn't have authorization to process a refund over $20 so she could only replace the food." Really?? Who wants new food from a place the served you uncooked food the first time? We have a family of 8 and we spent $43.21 on our order, part of which my family ate unbeknownst to them it was under cooked and now could potentially get food poisoning. Mind you 4 of our children are under 3 years old and couldn't tell us their food didn't taste right! We literally walked out and threw the food in the remade food in the trash. Now I can only hope we don't get food poisoning the rest of our vacation. Update: I called corporate and it's not a corporate policy to not provide refunds on purchases over $20. French fries were look warm and the replacement fries were oily way over cooked ... bacon cheeseburger was mediocre. Luke warm when asked for special no bun only lettuce... other places have the burgers fresh. These burgers were also shrunk indicating they were cooked and reheated. Went here twice in three days, traveling through. The first time I got there at 10:40 on a Tuesday Night. There hadn't been anything for miles coming from the west. I needed gas, restroom, and food. This Wendy's shares the building with the gas station. Two other cars pulled in at the same time. As soon as we pulled in all the lights shut off at both the gas station and Wendy's, even outside. And when Iooked up the employees locked the doors. I walked to the doors to see the business hours and they close at 11pm. They just didn't want anymore customers because they didn't want to work late. The second time through at the Wendy's we ordered our food inside and stood there for 20 minutes after we ordered it. Sick and tired of this place! Upper Management needs to correct the staff. Had an order at 9:20 p.m., I was starving and I had to wait an unacceptable amount of time, then I received the wrong order. The staff just seemed like they were close to being closing time and they were bothered that they had late orders. IF YOU CLOSE AT 10PM, YOU CLOSE AT 10PM!!! This means if an order comes in at 9:55 p.m. there is work that needs to be done. Figure it out managers, minimum wage is no excuse to slack but rather a reason to work harder. Went to Wendy's in Fruita, Colorado last night right before closing and was told it would take at least 10 minutes due to the fact that they were closing in 10 minutes. We were good with that. 10 minutes comes up and she hands us our food. I opened the bag and pulled out my cold nasty burger with lettuce that looked like they dug it out of the trash. None of the 3 of us could eat the cold fries. Those fries had to have been cooked at 9 and sat for an hour. I really thought they had been microwaved. The girl at the window was sweet, but I will never, ever eat there again. The manager should find a new job if she/he can't control her people better that that. I recently visited this Wendy's and had the worst service I have ever had at any fast food restaurant. The sandwich I ordered was not what I received. I ordered my fries with no salt and they were salted. When the woman was approaching me with my order she realized I had ordered the next bigger size fries. She returned to the french fry counter. Grabbed the bigger holder and dumped the fries from the smaller to the larger container and handed it to me. I got my order to go and didn't realize my sandwich and fries were wrong until I was way down the road. I was very disappointed and will not return to that Wendy's again. read more

Always seem to run into the same "kids" working in the drive thru. I feel as if these children hate their job(which they probably do) and it is clearly written on their foreheads. The snotty red head on the drive thru throws the bag at me each time and I get asked "if I want sauce or not" I have stopped going due to the rudeness and the manager tries to help but seems as he is probably about 18 himself.
