Let's cover the good parts first: Convenient location, quick to order and receive your order, friendly staff. The bad part: What is this stuff they call chicken? It's a paste. I don't travel much, but when I do, I visit staple places like subway where you know what you are getting. We had an experience at this location, I think, where a younger skinny kid named Colt or Colton was so nice to my family. I appreciated his precision and non sloppy matter in how he made our food. He was also very engaging with us. I try and leave good reviews when I can, especially for our youth, but I appreciate his work ethic. Clean, close to the highway, and staff is usually on-point. Subways are independently owned, so experiences can vary based on how they are run, even though they are supposed to follow corporate guidelines. We have eaten here for years and it has worked out. This is a pretty good Subway. read more

OK, so the options are limited here in Fruita when you are passing-through and it is late late at night. I am not a McDonald's fan so I opted for Subway across the street from La Quinta hotel. By now I pretty much know what I am going to get so when the mood strikes I know what I want. The folks here are friendly and they prepared my turkey on wheat just the way I requested. This has a cluster of a parking lot. They put a drive through directly inputting into a parking lot, so you're trying to park and cars are coming at you. Makes it a real mess. Would avoid if you have a larger rig, or park farther away. read more

My wife and I went there for our anniversary 10/23/2019 Ordered 2 steak dinners and 2 margaritas. Went to the salad bar and the lettuce was brown and wilted so decided to try the soup and I had to pick up 3 different spoons to find a clean one. We got our margaritas And they tasted horrible when we informed the waitress about the salad bar and dirty spoons she got angry. she went to the back and the lady that made our drinks said she would fix them.how do you fix a bad margarita we asked her just to take it off our bill and bring us a coke instead but she brought them back and they were horrible. She then replied I will charge you for the drinks and not the meals that we weren't even served yet. My wife told her your going to charge us for drinks that weren't made right and we didn't drink. We have had have breakfast and steak dinners many times there which were fantastic. I know the owners have changed there and we have talked to them nice people But it's not the same there. Hire someone that knows how to make a drink. No one goes to have old lettuce and dirty utensils. if the owner reads this it won't be hard to track down the rude bartender The waitress was great. Just a shout out for a chain that always seems to show up when I need a healthy alternative. Not a great sub but they have good build options. The grilled chicken breast usually saves my heart from a Wendy's double and a frosty (me luv the frosty). And I like the honey oat option on the bread choices. As a local Fruita resident, I've patronized this Subway about five times, and every time I've been there, the service was lousy! The employee behind the counter has always been rood, and made me wait while she kept talking to one of the other employees. Today I had enough and walked out without ordering, because as usual, that same employee ignored me while she talked to another employee and pretended to be busy. And I was the only customer in the store!! Of course, as I was walking out, they yelled "can I help you sir"? I like Subway; but I'll never do business with this particular Subway again. read more

Ok so I've gone here probably 20 times you've and messed up my sandwich almost every time. It's not like it's some crazy complex thing all it has in it is flat white bread, pepperoni, salami, spinach, provolone, and subway vinaigrette and it's toasted.
