No big deal and we were willing to wait. 8:55 still in line one of the workers walks out the back and I hear her say something similar to "what the f**, we close in 3 minutes and we have all these f** people". Wasn't too bothered by it as I get it I've worked in fast food before and it can be annoying when you get a rush right before close. Just thought she should be more professional. Finally we get upfront to order and find out from her they are only doing cups and cones because they "closed 12 minutes ago technically". They wouldn't even let us add any toppings on it. We still enjoyed some ice cream but definitely were disappointed being that we wanted other things and were there almost half an hour before closing. If you're gonna serve the rest of your customers on site before closing at least fully serve them. Also management I would recommend doing some simple coaching with these employees on professionality and such around closing. I get it I've been there myself but you still have to serve the people in your place to the best of your ability before it shuts down. That's just food business.

When I asked Bailey for the bill, I was surprised to find a charges of $.50 for mustard and $1.00 for onions. I truly love a good hot dog and these were pretty good. I wish they were grilled, but I came to found out this establishment steams their dogs and they are a grill less & greaseless. Very green and I respect that. But a dog deserves a grill. Really disappointing, especially during Burger Week…read more We made a specific trip to Five Guys because of the Burger Week/National Cheeseburger Day promotion. In a time when the cost of pretty much everything has gone up, eating out has become something a lot of families don't do very often. When we do decide to spend the money, it's usually because we're trying to give ourselves and our family a little treat. So showing up to Five Guys and finding the doors locked with a handwritten note saying "Closed due to supply issues" was incredibly frustrating. I understand that supply problems happen. Businesses have bad days, shipments get delayed, and things go wrong. What's hard to understand is having a major national promotion running and apparently not having enough product or backup planning to keep the restaurant open. Burger Week is probably one of the worst possible times to run out of supplies. If anything, this feels like a situation where the company should have anticipated increased demand. People specifically planned around the promotion, drove to the restaurant, and expected to be able to use an advertised deal. Instead, we spent the time and gas getting there only to find a handwritten note on the door. And honestly, it's not just about the free burger. It's about the experience. When money is tight and a family finally decides, "You know what, let's go get Five Guys tonight," being turned away after making the trip is disappointing. At the very least, I would hope Five Guys recognizes that customers who made a special trip because of this promotion deserve some kind of acknowledgment or compensation. A coupon or replacement offer would go a long way toward showing that the company actually values the customers who showed up. Running out of supplies during Burger Week isn't just bad timing. It's a missed opportunity to take care of the customers who were specifically coming in because you advertised the promotion. I really hope someone from Five Guys sees this and makes it right.
