The bun, though, felt like an afterthought, it could've been warmed more and was a bit dry, which took away from an otherwise good burger. The fries were a highlight though, clearly made fresh to order, hot, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The sauce was decent, but just not enough of it. - Li'l Wig - I'm sad to say this was one of the worst burgers I've ever had. I requested medium rare and I don't know what the patty is made out of it, but it resembled more like meatloaf than a burger. It was very dense and had a strong gamey taste, reminded me more of bison or venison. Idk, it was just not very good. I only took a few bites and left the rest. The brioche bun was tasty and so was the W sauce. The fries were really good and had a nice crunch. I wish the appetizer used those fries instead. The service was inconsistent. We were barely checked on until the very end when we had a few different people come by and refill waters / bring the check. We never saw our original server again. It is a nice vibe inside, great lighting and decor with both indoor and outdoor seating, but I don't think I'll be returning. The bill was $133 for 3 drinks, 1 app, and 3 burgers. Felt pretty let down leaving still hungry and over $150 in the hole (after tip). Hoping it was just a fluke and other people have better experiences there.

MY Review of Wendy's Restaurant Located at 550 Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO. 80226, (#03) 937-8236 This Happened on June 15th, 2017 at 11:25 PM. I preceded to place my order, I ordered a Double w/cheese and a small FF, I could not hear this persons responce. I placed my order once again. A person, then preceded to inform me that our system was down, and we are no longer accepting orders. The next thing I stated was, that you should turn off your lights.. The responce was we don't control that, that it was an automated process.. That in it self would have been fine for me. I then preceded to leave the drive through, when I glanced into the window, and an employee preceded to show me his responce to my order, He shot me the bird/ displayed his middle finger/flipped me off... -- Inline image 1 I backed up within the drive though and ask him just why he had so, after my simple questions, his responce was a replete of his juster, Another Flip off.. I wanted to take his photo though the window, but he quickly disappeared. I was so angry at this point, instead of finding a Manager, I decided to come home and write this email to the Corporate Office. Let me state that I have a (Bartender/ Customer Service Industry )worker now for over 43 years now, and believe me when I say, I love my job, but I can say, I am not a person that always believes that the customer is always (RIGHT) maybe I am saying this only because sometimes after I have served some Guests many drinks, so guests believe that whatever they say, is the Gospels truth. I've lived in this area most of my life and even skated at the old DU ice arena. I think I first experienced this location back in 95 and it's been pretty much the same. I remember that the floor lifted at one point and had a stairway to the basement. I know my check-ins here are in the triple digits. The food always seems super fresh at this location compared to other stores. You won't find a menu on the wall (If you know you know,) so I recommend a burrito or bowl with brown rice, black beans, chicken, pico, corn, and guac! The queso is also good if you want to mix it up a bit. Seating is sparse inside but there are quite a few spots outside to enjoy your big rolled burrito or bowl and watch the bustling university activity. With a Starbuds next door and the Stadium Inn across the street you will be amused. The service is always good here but if the line is out the door you might have a 10 minute wait. Enjoy! I thought I reviewed this location before so I haven't taken many pictures on this phone. So I'll add more later. If you're in Denver, stop by and take a selfie next to the historic placard on the brick wall next to the entrance.

Everything is cooked properly, seasoned correctly, and in stock. I often encounter crunchy or bland/gummy rice at Chipotle stores or missing ingredients. Never here. There is almost no indoor seating whatsoever and it is hard to find parking, so it is best to get your food to-go.
