Love this Wendy's location! The staff is always friendly and the service is quick. They usually have a pretty clean restaurant, but it's likely due to its somewhat awkward placement. The place is visible from the street but it's tucked away within the parking lot. It's very easy to order on the app as well and pick it up, via drive thru or when coming inside. I ordered a bacon cheese burger meal that cost a whopping 15.00. It was supposed to come with chicken nuggets. The burger meat was OLD. It tastes spoiled on the edge of the meat! The entire ingredients between the buns were smashed into one gross mess. The didn't include the chicken nuggets. The fries were good and fresh and the drink I ordered was full of ice in a very good way. The servers were fair. However, the person taking the money didn't know quite how to work the money machine. Plus, he was wearing his street clothes with a gold chain and a satin looking baseball type jacket. It wasn't a good look at all. I won't give them another dime! All I can say is WOW Wendy's, what a huge disappointment! Went inside today to order, and decided to use the kiosk so I could mess around with the items a little before placing my order. Just like every other person I've ever met, I wanted to add a few extra sides of ranch for the nuggets and fries, but wasn't able to find that option on the kiosk. I thought no problem I will just ask when I get my order at the counter. Upon receiving my order, I asked the lovely lady working if I was able to get a few extra sides of ranch and told her that I didn't see any option on the kiosk to add more. She then proceeded to tell me that they are not allowed to give out any extra sides of sauce. I asked her if I was able to pay for a few of them in which she proceeded to tell me no. We went back-and-forth for a minute on how she is not allowed to give out any extra sauces I'm not allowed to buy any extra sauces. Overall just a pretty disappointing and rude interaction at Wendy's. I didn't think that asking for a few extra sides of sauce would be such an issue and I am mind blown with the fact that even after offering to buy them-as in giving Wendy's MORE of MY money for a side of sauce I was still told NO. I'm shocked and disgruntled at the way Wendy's has instructed their employees to handle this situation. So BEWARE when you go to Wendy's, make sure to use your sauce sparingly, because you won't be able to get any more, even if you plan to pay for it!! Generally Wendy's is one of my favorite fast food places. This location however needs some help. Like most fast food places staffing seems to be an issue. Was there yesterday, ordered on the terminal and it took 15 + minutes to get our food. The kitchen staff seemed more interested in interacting with team members on break than serving customers. Of the three self order terminals only one was working. The one to the right has been broken for weeks. The Wendy's commercials don't reflect the reality of this location. I ordered a burger without the bun and no silver was provided, when we asked for a fork and knife, the people couldn't understand what we were asking for. Fast food and I have an understanding. I only eat it when I am hung over, have no food in the house, am too lazy to go to the grocery store to gather breakfast burrito ingredients, and can't find a friend to have brunch with. I have low expectations for fast food. So I wasn't surprised after my visit to Wendy's today, when I was eating my order of spicy chicken nuggets to think, "these taste like nothing." I also wasn't upset when I was eating my classic double with cheese and realized it too, lacked personality or the charisma I love about fresh food prepared with love. I was a bit bothered by the nasty, cold, salt less, limp french fries. I had to take a big gulp of sprite after I ate the first one, because it got stuck in my throat it was so stale. I blame myself for choosing to spend money here. I could have made a delicious hang over meal with the $8 I blew. But that is the point. Fast food companies bank on laziness and the desire for quick convenience. I shake my fist to the sky with contempt for meals like the one I consumed this afternoon. I am not a fan of the Wendy's chain in general. I've evaded their square, overly-dripping with grease pattied burgers for years now. Was coming back from a movie and decided I'd see what I could find and if their menu had changed any in the last few years. Well, it has -- to my surprise. I had 2 Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers and 1 Crispy Chicken Sandwich. I wasn't expecting a lot different from any of the other major burger chains -- but the slimy greasy burger patties I'd kind of resigned myself to experiencing... weren't there. They were actually tasty sandwiches. The chicken patty was moister and...hard for me to gauge, but tastier than McD's or BK's offerings. I was one of the only people in there at 930ish at night, but I was attended to promptly, server made eye contact, smiled...and everything got hustled to me, but I saw it was made fresh; not something that had been sitting on a warmer plate. I... Well, I just can't say any more about it.
