Absolutely disgusting restaurant. Run down. Traveling back home we stopped by Wendy's. We ordered food. We all used the restroom, they are so dirty. Toilet paper everywhere on the ground. Toilets full. Sink is dirty. Dining room the tables are all filthy, food, crumbs and oil on them. Floors need swept. Employees don't talk to you at all. Very disgusting place. read more

Had no customers inside or drive thru. 1st window opened and the smell of weed hit me so hard I could have got a contact high. No customers inside and waited 20 min for 3 double stacks with only ketchup and cheese. The two employees exuded laziness and horrible customer service. Went to this Wednesday on Sat, Aug 12 about 11 pm. One of the only places open & we were starving after a comedy show at the casino. The drive through attendant was well spoken and took the order well. The window where we got the food was nice & polite as well. The order was correct & of high quality. Wendy's gets some hard knocks in reviews, but these guys did me right & I appreciate it! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I placed an online order, went to pick it up and realized multiple items were incorrect. So I drive back only for the manager to argue with me that nothing is wrong with one of the items. She then slams the drive-through window in my face not even allowing me to tell her about the other incorrect item. She never returned to the window and instead had another employee bring one corrected item but said nothing to me when they did, just sullen silence. Horrible customer service and general lack of professionalism. Then the topper is she gave me an old replacement. The last time l'll be getting food here. My brother and I stopped in here on the way to Michigan from Chicago on a Friday night -- him because he had to pee, and me because I love eating Wendy's on road trips. This location, though tucked away near the Indiana Welcome Center in Hammond, was surprisingly clean as far as rest stop and fast-food options go. My brother ordered a regular burger, which he inhaled and loved, and I ordered a grilled chicken Go Wrap and fries, which I loved as well. I'm mostly writing this review to call out the awesome cashier who was working, Briona. She was cheerful without seeming insincere, and was genuinely kind. I know working with customers can tend to get stressful, but she just seemed content with being there and was patient when I was deciding what I wanted to order. So basically, I always love Wendy's, but this experience was even better because this particular Wendy's has a great team running the place. Thanks for brightening my evening, Briona! read more

Bad service usually don't write reviews but this deserves one. Went there today and ordered a number 2 and a number 3 both with a medium blue berry pomegranate lemonade. I go to the second window to pick up the food the manager I believe it was hands me my food with 2 straws and I proceeded to ask for w drink carrier. She rudely said you only get one drink I then asked for my receipt. She rudely threw it to me with my second drink in the carrier. Will not patronize that establishment again. Good luck with business I know it will stick around cause people like to eat out. But you if you read this review and you know who you are you are a disgrace to the food industry. read more

Horrible management. As someone who works nearby I can say for the past year they have consistently had ridiculously long lines and wait times, and rarely have the inside open. Occasionally they won't even serve customers and completely ignore the drive thru at like 1 pm on a Tuesday. Have never experienced a consistently worse fast food location. Please fire the GM, it's definitely a problem starting with the top down. read more

Find another highway Wendy's. It's not hard. Came here around 6:30 or 7 on a weekday night. We ordered one sandwich, one wrap, one side salad, and one chili. This took over 15 minutes! The southwest avocado chicken sandwich did not have any avocado on it. Not like it's right there in the name or anything. Went inside to use the restroom prior to hitting the road again and decided to order a small drink and another wrap since I was still hungry. This took another 10+ minutes. There were at least four employees working, but apparently they could only have one person making food and one person taking orders while two others stood around and gabbed. I travel 100% on my job so I've been a LOT of places. I have fast food sometimes and this Wendy's is absolutely the best. I went there 3 times in a row just to prove it wasn't a fluke. Meals are hot, fresh, prepared top notch. I mean every time every thing was perfect. read more

I downloaded Yelp for the sole purpose of writing this review. I waited about half an hour for a double baconator combo. It took nearly ten minutes for someone to come on the headset and acknowledge people in the drive thru. I paid for the food and waited about 20 minutes at the window just for them to give me this bag with cold fries and a sandwich with ONE patty that was thinner than a pencil. It had all of the bacon but just ONE patty from something off the dollar menu!! It was an absolute sorry excuse of a baconator. I thought maybe they were short staffed but there were nearly ten workers just waiting around inside behind the counter having a great time. This instance was the first time they remembered to put dipping sauce in the bag though. By all means avoid this Wendy's. McDonald's is one block north. read more

This is the worst Wendy's that has ever Wendy. The fries are sad. Let's start with the drive thru lady. She had the cahonēs to welcome me with the brilliant and perfect Wendy's greeting of "welcome to Wendy's; what can we make fresh for you today?" With such a well rehearsed greeting I thought I could expect a well trained Wendy's staff. However, I was about to be disappointed. The word that she said in the previous statement ended up being a complete lie. "Fresh." Surely, she must have known she was lying while she delivered such a hell induced lie to me. After driving through, I was expecting a wait for my food since it was 9:30 PM and no one else was in the drive thru. But there was no wait. I had my fries, frosty, and hamburger within seconds of paying for my food. I keep coming back to that word: fresh. Because anything but happened to be given to me this day. The fries tasted like they took shingles off their roof and baked them in 2006 and then forgot them under the oven and found & served them today. The burger was soggy like a Vietnam war veteran's socks while trudging through the swamps. The frosty was decent. I recommend going to a different food establishment. Jokes aside, the food was actually really gross. Just don't go here. read more

This place looks like it was remodeled recently. The bathrooms were spotless. The lady at the counter was helpful and patient while the lady in front of me took 1,000 years to order. I got a #1 with an add on frosty because it was hot out. For 99 cents it was a huge frosty and yummy with my burger. The fries where well cooked and the burger was great. I visited this Wendy's on a trip from Chicago to MI this past weekend, and the girl taking orders was extremely rude. Her name was Latoya, and you could tell she didn't want to be there. She raised her voice with everyone in our group, and just yelled 'next' after each person was done ordering. Sadly the Worst Wendy's I have ever been to. I ordered some crispy chicken BLTs and everything was greasy from the bun to the wrapper was just completely covered. And it looks like when it was made the sandwich was squished. Plus the restaurant overall could be a little cleaner and tv they had was overly loud. read more

Terrible place I'm here now. Told the cashier that they are out of catchup she looked at me like I was crazy. Also the soap in the men's bathroom was on the counter and not in the dispenser.
