Drive to a different restaurant if you can? I ordered a JR Bacon cheeseburger,(plain),small fry and a drink. I had to wait in a super long line in the drive thru as their dining room is still closed. My burger came with Mayo, lettuce and tomato. I went back and waited thru the big line to get it fixed. I told the gal at the speaker that my burger wasn't plain like I ordered. When I got up to the window the manager barked at me and and asked what was wrong. The other gal explained to the manager that my order was wrong. The manager said,"another order wrong!" They shoved a sandwich that looked like it had gone thru world war 3 and I was off. They took back the burger they got wrong. As I ate the new burger I got to thinking... what if this burger was already opened by someone before me because they got the burgers mixed up? OMG I almost threw up. I visited this location last Sunday during the football playoff game. I ordered at the drive-through, and I didn't have to wait too long. The fellow at the window was professional and courteous besides. They weren't serving carbonated soft drinks because their dispenser was broken, so I asked him what drinks I could get. Instead of being snarky or rude, he politely told me. So I ordered a bottled orange juice to go with the double cheeseburger and fries. I have to say, the food was good and hot the way a burger and fries should be! And the fries were salted perfectly. Wendy's, like most fast food places nowadays, are terribly understaffed but that's no excuse for most of the places to have employees who are clueless with bad attitudes, or to serve cold, stale and listless slop. This will be the second time I have visited this establishment over a 2 month time span and have received less than adequate service. They have what looks to be enough employees but half of them do not know what they are doing to get an order completed without the manager telling them every step to complete. Their food is great and all but unfortunately the last time I went there I saw homeless people and they were stinking up the place right next to the fireplace and not only that sometimes they're fries are not really hot. sometimes they're Frosty's always have to leak I don't really like a leaky Frosty and having to lick the ice cream off my hands but everything else is good but sometimes they're Burgers aren't hot but it's not like they can't improve so I'm going to give them a three-star rating so that way they could probably improve. The best place I've ever been too the fries and chicken nuggets are hot, the burger is hot and delicious, and on top of all of it it has THE BEST FROSTY EVER!!! This Wendy's location is leaps and bounds, nicer than any other Wendy's I've ever been to. The customer service 5 stars, super friendly and welcoming. The food, 4.5 stars, I cant remember a time where my crispy chicken sandwich was actually crispy and not soggy like other places, and my hamburger was actually hot and not luke warm. Clean restaurant, even have a fireplace and couch seating area, like what!? I would stop at this location any time I have a frosty fix, great job and staff!! read more

My husband and I just wanted to try out the new Strawberry frosty. So far we've been in the drive through lane for 36 MINUTES. We decided to stick it out to see how long it would actually take. Finally got our items at 38 minutes. Explanation: Short staffed.Also to note- some guy behind us in line bailed out of his car to take a leak behind or near what looked like the trash area. I'm stunned with happiness right now for this Wendy's location. A few weeks shy of a year ago I had a terrible experience at this location. Today my wife and I wanted Wendy's and we'd been going to the other location down the street. Today their drive thru was too busy so we both shrugged and decided it was time to try again. There was no line and our order was taken very quickly. To my mistake I over ordered and came up short at the window (very embarrassing). For lack of a better descriptor the kind Asian woman at the window shrugged it off and said don't worry about it I'll take care of it. I insisted that she take an item off my order but she insisted right back that it wasn't an issue. I thankfully accepted and paid with what I had. Since moving to Lakewood I have not had such a kind act done for me. I'm deeply grateful and will resume using this location. I've upped the rating from 1-star to 3-star and will continue to raise the score based on future trips. Whoever owns this location should really give her a raise (In my embarrassment I forgot to ask for her name). It's customer service like that that builds loyalty. Thank you again! read more

It was Wendy's. The food was fresh and hot. The french fries were good, not too salty. The burgers were custom-made the way we wanted them. We did not wait a long time. I dinged them a star because they gave a party of four who had ordered ten food items TWO napkins. Really? I had to walk inside to get more. While inside, I used the restroom. It was clean enough, nothing amazing but not gross either. Kitchens are usually kept as clean as restrooms, so I felt fine about eating the food they'd made here. We attracted a nice crowd of seagulls and crows in the parking lot, throwing them bits of bun and french fries. Yes, I know that's evil. It's also a lot of fun. read more

Just went to get a baconator breakfast sandwich and left with nothing! There were only 8 cars in front of me in the drive thru and after 12 min I was still 2 cars away from ordering, so at that pace I'd be looking at least 20-30 mins. I went to go inside where there were at least 5-6 customers eating yet the doors were locked with no reason given as to why. In the last few months this place has become a joke with slower than everybody else drive thru and the sporadic opening and closing of the dining area for at the least getting take out orders. Probably the fanciest fastfood place you'll step into. Nice decor, fireplace, the fancy coke machines with a million flavors. They call your name not a number. While I was eating my meal (which was as good as fast food can get!) a guy came in asking for gluten free option for his daughter. The cashier immediately grabbed her manager because she wanted to 'make sure we get this right'. I have come here multiple times as my work is just over the bridge from this location. Alot of my crew walk of there because it is so convenient. Last Thursday night, 11/12, I went through the Drive Thru and pulled up to the window and was sitting there when I seen a worker sweeping the floor over by the Walk In counter with the mask only covering her mouth. The state does not require food workers to wear a mask over their mouth AND nose, but THEY SHOULD. She was huffing and puffing from all the work she was doing sweeping the floor when she leaned over the counter, pulled out her cell phone and removed her mask completely and she was out of breath and breathing hard. I could not believe what I was seeing. At the same time, the kind girl working the window handed me my bag and I said, "What is THAT?" as I pointed at the worker without her mask on at all, leaned over on the counter on her cell phone breathing heavy. She turned and looked and looked back at me and shrugged her shoulders and said, "I am so sorry". There has to be a manager there on a busy Thursday night and that girl could care less who seen here take her mask COMPLETLY off. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN.
