((( HUGE ))) SHOUT OUT- to Carl's Jr. in Lakewood for Tevin B's excellent customer service and for their thinking out of the box to complete my order in a timely manner. I work the 4am-1pm shift and sometimes it can be challenging to get food in the morning for my lunch, I don't always want breakfast & most restaurants don't open or serve other options at 8am. Carl's Jr. offers their complete menu, so I have plenty of options. However the food is only as good as the staff working to make and serve it, and today was awesome! Tevin greeted me at the window with fast friendly conversation which really helps in our current world surrounded by masks. I had ordered biscuits & gravy and while they didn't have their standard gravy containers in stock they quickly put the gravy into a coffee cup and packed it up for me. The biscuits were light, soft and very homemade like- my southern grandmother would have been fooled. I really appreciate the effort made by this crew, because it really made my morning. Sent my son to Carls Jr for the first time in 5 years since the last time I ate there became very sick. ...and their food is as bad as it was then. Ordered a guacamole bacon angus burger. Since we have allergies burger was special order - No Santa Fe Sauce, no tomatoes, no onions, guacamole on the side. Received sandwich cold meat with everything on it except the guacamole which I didn't get on the side or anywhere. My son had to wait 15 minutes more for this messed up sandwich. The service from others is "okay" but Ashely makes the best of being a great cashier. I feel very appreciated at this store highly recommended curtious polite people very clean place. Careing staff.

I will give this location all 5 stars because the times I have been there we have gone inside and had lunch or dinner and the people working in there are SUPER nice and polite and seem to be content with their jobs. The food is hot and fresh on each visit and they never mind a special order and more importantly they ALWAYS have done it right with one small exception and I am not even going to elaborate on it because they were very busy and it really was no big deal. I had gotten away from eating Carl's JR since we were in Alaska, then moved to NC and its called Hardee's there. NOTHING near as nice as Carls JR here is. One thing I wish they would do is bring back the California Roast Beef sandwich and the chili dogs with the little pepper on top like they had back in the 70's read more

I went here 7/19/14 on a Sat night, and there was only car ahead of me in the drive thru, but waited for awhile. The worker, Austin, kept apologizing and said he'd be with me soon. When I finally was at the menu, I asked for something that wasn't on the menu but I had heard about it. There was miscommunication, and I was upset since I felt he came off strong and later found out that he couldn't hear because he had a coworker talking to him while I was ordering. I brought it up to him at the window, and he was immediately sorry and very professional about the whole thing. I don't know if he was the manager, I think he was by how he handled everything, but Austin made me wanna come back since the food was delicious when I went home, and he also said exactly what you'd wanna say to an upset customer. I had gone here twice before because Carl's Jr. definitely is one of the better fast food places, but both times was treated rudely by the person taking the order. I've frequented this location many times and they seem to not be able to keep the good employees. Only the drive-thru is currently open, and tonight was the final straw. The employee on the speaker could barely make it through his "Would you like to try..." pitch. Like literally, paused in the middle with the car in front of me and myself. He couldn't be less interested in being there. Ordered a basic order, waited about 9-10 minutes to pull up for the window and the two shares were literally soup. No worries, have a freezer at home. Paid my $33.06 and was handed the food with zero "thanks," or "that's everything." The bag felt light so I checked. I was missing a large criss-cut order of fries. Pulled back around only to hear the same tired lifeless greeting a second time. Told the employee my fries were missing and he said "I guess pull up." Waited another four minutes and finally was handed a bag with a cold, 3/4 full fry container. No sorry, no thanks, just nothing. Got home, and realized my 4yo's milk was missing as well. No more. Will be calling corporate to hopefully get some recompense. To the franchise owner or manager-cut your losses with that employee. They clearly don't want to work there. I have eaten at a Carls Jr. before in California and was happy with the taste, so I was excited to visit my local Carls Jr. I was impressed with the menu options and after a few minutes of browsing I decided on the Guacamole Bacon Burger. I enjoyed the Burger, it was a little messy with the guacamole, but I knew it would be. I had hoped for a little bit more of a juicy burger as in a little bit of greasy juice drips, I should know better than to expect that. It seams to be hard to find a good burger that is both convenient and meets my criteria for a good burger. If they are trying to act like there burgers are similar to a more expensive burger the first step should be to have a burger that is made fresh so the meat is hot and still has a little glisten of yummy burger fat.... read more

We went there one evening using the drive-thru. Ordered a Super Star $7 burger and told them no Cheese. What did they give us? you guessed right a burger WITH cheese. I wasn't going to return drive 40 mins back to return it. Instead I write this review and hope future customers refrain from going to this particular location. John B (name on receipt) served us on June 30, 2021. Incompetent person who can't follow specific instructions or pass them on to the person prepping meals. We also ordered a large Criss-cut Fries and only received 4 medium sized fries in an over-sized large container. These were bland tasting. Last but not least we wanted to tried the new Bacon Ranch Fry basket that was being advertised. Looks good in the pic, but what we got was a small container that would hold a slider. The fries were stuffed in it and the really salty crumbled bacon was added on one side with perhaps a teaspoon of ranch dressing topping it. I tell you this was really small and so salty enough to give someone a heart-attack if not raise their blood pressure super high. The burger was about the only thing worth eating albeit it too was so salty and lacked the ketchup, but at least it did have all the standard ingredients a burger should have (tomato, lettuce, etc) - I only ate 50% of it because of the nasty cheese they put on it when i told them NO CHEESE! .. I like Carl's Jr. food, but hadn't been to this location before. We waited for quite some time in line, seeing as there was only one car other than us that was surprising. Once we got the food I opened my burger, the lettuce and tomato were completely outside the burger and there was so much sauce the bun was a soggy mess. My husband took it back in since it was too sloppy to eat, they were really annoyed at having to remake it. While they were making my burger he watched an employee set tomatos down on a dirty counter and then put them on the burgers. Gross. read more
