Waited 30 minutes in the drive thru while they said they were frying my Chicken sandwich. Once I got my sandwich it was prepared wrong.

Wendy's location that is on the corner of bardstown road and hurstbourne parkway in the fern creek portion of Lousiville Kentucky. On large national chains like this I normally do not rate on food. By now most people know if they like Wendy's food or not. Me personally I enjoy there food. Jr bacon burger, a frosty and there chicken sandwich are all top choices for me. I always rate these locations on service and accuracy. This location is usually pretty well upkept and keeps the line moving rather quickly and I very rarely if at all have a mistake on my order. They are really good at not only asking what sauces or condiments you need but also giving you plenty. Overall solid location and the only Wendy's on the fern creek area. It's the closest one to my house but it is still a fifteen min drive. It would be nice to get one closer. But at least this is a nice location. read more

I have always liked Wendy's for their food. They have recently updated some of the restaurants with a new look. They did a wonderful job at it. For a fast food restaurant that is. It doesn't have the open floor plan anymore. It's nice and actually comfortable to sit and have a meal. Almost as if you were in a sit down restaurant. I mean, they don't come out and serve you. But the ambiance is nice. The food was hot and ready when they give it to you. The potatoes I had were delicious with chili and cheese. I usually have my favorite Asiago chicken sandwich with a spicy chicken. Now you do get the option of different types of chicken when you order. I always change it up to get different flavors with the dressing on the sandwich. I am just glad that the restaurant was staffed and ready to go for lunch. I've been to a couple of Wendy's that weren't and service was trash. Not today though. I had a pleasant visit and would come back to this Wendy's anytime. read more

Customer service at this Wendy's drive thru on 11/28/23 at 1:59 p.m was absolutely shrewd. She had the worst attitude I've ever seen in my life! I was craving a Wendy's burger like crazy (not something that normally happens) and I wasn't sure which Wendy's to go to since they all had pretty mixed reviews. I decided on this one since it was closest to my house and ordered on the app before I left home. It took me about fifteen minutes to get there. When I drove up to the speaker box the man that answered was very fast and efficient. The drive thru line moved quickly and within about five minutes I had my food! The two men working the window were funny, friendly, and fast. I was super hungry so I ate one of my chicken nuggets and a few fries before I left the parking lot. Everything was still hot and fresh! Yes, it's Wendy's. Yea the food is standardized and decent for fast food. The service is horrible though. I spent 40 minutes in the drive thru for a Diet Coke this time. I told the server at the window that it was supposed to be a Diet Coke with no ice and her response was "So?" Honestly I don't understand how they are in business. I give it a 5 atmosphere since I haven't been inside in years, a 1 for service considering lines and attitude, a 4 for taste because it's cold a lot of times. And a 4 for value (slightly overpriced) giving a total of 3.5/10. Seriously, if you like Wendy's (and I do) just find a different location. read more

This was the absolute worst drive thru experience. I ordered a baconator combo with fries and I order bbq a sauce and honey mustard. They tell me they are out of bbq so I just ask for another honey mustard and the lady just tells me no. I asked her nicely if I could have another honey mustard since they are out. She tells me no. I literally have to go back and forth and then they charge me like a dollar for another sauce.... I'll never go to Wendy's again. I hope the pack of honey mustard was worth it. read more

I saw that this location had one star, after reading the review it looks like it was based off of one sandwich. I can tell you from living around the neighborhood and visiting this location quite often that they deserve at a minimum of four stars. I ran through Wendy's real quick on the way to my daughtes VBS because she hadn't eaten. Big mistake. Only 2 cars ahead of us but taking forevvvver.. Like what in the world is going on? Finally get up to order and a sign says " cash only at this time" you have got to be kidding me. Who has cash? The sign looked kind of torn like it had been there for awhile so I asked if they were still cash only. She said" no, we haven't been for awhile now" I said " ok great, the sign is still here so I wanted to make sure" then placed my order. Got up to the window and handed my card. Girl at window with attitude" We only taking cash" I told her I literally just asked. She just replied" we are cash only" Oh hell no. I repeated that I just asked and told her what was said and she finally just gave me the burger. I think the girl taking the order thought she was funny and had jokes knowing they were still cash only but making me get all the way up there making us late. I tried to call after and talk to a manager but no answer. Guess I'll be calling corporate. Don't go. Went here for breakfast. Ordered a combo with a coffee like I do all the time. When I pick it up she hands me the food and starts to hand me a Hi-C and so I say oh sorry I ordered a coffee. With attitude she responds no you said Hi-C. Before I could respond with something to ease the tension she rolls her eyes goes back in and fills a cherry coke and tries to hand THAT to me. At this point I'm really confused. And so I say again, umm I ordered a coffee. I waited in line I ordered, I waited 15-20 minutes for my food. There were about 5 people waiting for their food in front of me. Went to this Wendy's Sunday 2/9/20. Situation behind the counter was one of mass confusion. Took at least 5 minutes to get our order taken. When it arrived 10-15 minutes later burger was undercooked. If I could I would give this place 0 stars. Went thru the drive thru at midnight tonight. There were 2 cars in front of me. It took me over 30 mins to get my food. While waiting on my food I watched the manager reset the drive thru waiting times, my food sit there and get cold, my drink get watered down from the ice, and a lady with her hair down, no hair net playing with her mid length hair around the food. When handed my food I asked the manager if it was normal for their employees to be playing with their hair around the food, all he did was tell her to go wash her hands. Nothing else. I live about 3 mins from this location and by the time I got home my fries and burger were cold. My burger was hard and there were hairs in my fries. Needless to say I ate nothing and will not be going back to this location. And the health department will be getting a call about this location. read more

This location was remodeled about a year ago or so and looks new and clean. Service is usually pretty quick even at peak hours. Haven't had bad experience there yet. The only negative would be that it sits on the corner of Bardstown Road and Hurstbourne lane. During peak hours, exiting the lot onto Bardstown Road can be difficult due to heavy traffic. read more

They don't fail but they dont go above and beyond and that is the curse of the fast food chain. They have all your standard Wendy's fare and do it all just right. I just stopped by to get the new flat bread sandwich with grilled chicken and what a disappointment it was. I opened up the sandwich when I got home and there was literally 4 little pieces of cut grilled chicken on the bread. It looked like they took a grilled chicken breast, cut it in half, then cut the half into 4 pieces. I'm not sure what they did with the other half but it sure wasn't on my sandwich. 60% of the sandwich was just bread. I will never buy that again.
