Burger-Fried egg and pork belly woth aioli.

Had a great experience here! The food was delicious! My burger was cooked to perfection! Burger had a hard fried egg, pork belly, and cheese. Amazing! The fries are fresh cut and paired nicely with the smoked ketchup. The tea... OH THE TEA! So. Good. We left full, but not stuffed. Do I recommend? YEAH I DO!

Always looking for a great Triple D recommended restaurant. In town for a graduation and had to go! Absolutely amazing staff, burger was awesome, fries crispy and hot.Get the Brussel Sprouts, I promise they are delicious!

The B&B burger is delicious. The mix of savory and sweet just...chef's kiss. The vibe is extremely casual. Our waitress was very attentive and kept our drinks full. The Brussel sprouts were delicious too!!

After a day of antiquing, a shop owner nearby recommended The Grind. Very relaxing with indoor/outdoor seating in a chill vibe. Service, food, and location were perfect. Great value for money.

Dîner style BYO - only red onion and whipped feta

The atmosphere in Grind is dim and relaxing. The staff is just as laid back and hospitable. Although the interior lacks any sort of vibe that contributes to the food you are about to eat. You could serve anything in that environment, nothing really screams burger. I ordered a regular burger with whipped ricotta that usually comes on the adult grilled cheese. This cheese took my burger to the next level. It was the creamiest cheese I have put on a burger in a long time. The lactose pain will be totally worth it. Thinly sliced red onions also made the burger super enjoyable. The diner style are two smashed patties cooked well, this was good but the ends are burnt and don't make for the most appetizing bite but can be overlooked if you order a lot of toppings on your burger. The fries are the most shocking part of the meal. You know the fries at the bottom of a take out bag and how they are sometimes the best fries in the entire bag? All of their fries taste like those fries. The crunch is so good I don't think I even added salt! If anyone has a burger craving, Grind will cure it.

This was my first time here. Definitely a hidden gem. I love a good burger. A hip littplace , LGBTQ+ friendly. Diner vibes. With a bar. Service was nice. My server/ bartender was on it! I ordered the Grind burger diner style w/fries. 10/10. My drink was a Bruised berry bourbon however I omitted the ginger beer. It was so good! Shout out to Brittany for the bomb drink and service! Would recommend. They only lost a star because the selection of speciality drinks wasn't the best.

Split a Cuban and a B&B burger The B&B burger is a top 3 burger I've had Also had the Cuban that was so good and the pork belly was awesome

Brussels sprouts are pretty epic too

This place is so cool-looking from the outside. I went here for the first time in January and thought their cute patio out front would be a neat spot to eat and hangout. The inside is very cool as well- wish I had taken interior pics, but I'm sure that there are some in other reviews. I will say that the place is very clean and organized tho. Service was very good, really enjoyed our server. Decent sized menu- multiple items that I want to come back and try. I ended up getting the Southern burger and my husband built his own. You choose how well done you want your burger- but unlike other places- one of those options is the well done option- which is 2 smash patties- and I thought that was pretty awesome. I love a good smash burger and this one was great. The only thing that I'd complain about little about was the bun- it was too thick and harder than I would have liked. If it were a different bun, my burger would have been one of the best that I've ever had. I would love to see them use a thinner, softer bun. However, that won't stop me from coming back because the food is really delicious. Hand-cut fries and Brussels sprouts were pretty epic too. I really enjoyed this place. Would absolutely recommend it and will absolutely be back.

So good we couldn't wait for a photo

Highly recommend for your next stop in Louisville. Service was great. The food even better. The entire place is a vibe.

    "Chain burger"
    Bob B.

Cool place, an affordable option in NuLou, quality hamburgers, fries and drinks! I always get "the chain" burger which is basically a dinner style smash burger. Great hand cut style fries. It's basically twenty bucks after tax and tip which is kinda crazy for a burger and fries. But the experience is always mostly positive and the food is always tasty. If you are visiting and spending time downtown louisville this is a great option.

We had a couple cocktails in here and the service was excellent even though it appeared they were filled to capacity. There were 4 of us in our party and we were seated at a table in the corner near the bar. Was definitely a cozy spot with so many people being in there and the bar being full. I had The Holy Ghost cocktail and it was a pomegranate hibiscus sour, it had just the right amount of sour! I do not like bitter drinks and this one was good and easy to drink. My husband had a couple of dark beers, I do not remember which ones but he liked them. They had a nice outdoor area but it was a bit too cool for that but it may be worth a return in the Spring to check it out. Bathroom was also really cool as the decor and theme spilled over into it. We will be back.

There are also picnic tables out front. You get a faint whiff of the grill/smoker upon entering. Kylie was our bartender and she was fabulous - knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of our questions with patience. Wife ordered a mango margarita and doesn't like a lot of tequila, so Kylie went half and gave her a shot on the side in case she wanted to add more. It was wonderful. I had a couple of beers. We started with the fried mushrooms, which aren't what you would expect. It's two large portobellos cut into chunks, battered, fried, and served with sun-dried tomato mayo. They were great. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting. Look forward to going back and trying one of the burgers at some point.

This place is quaint, nice location (on a corner ) decent seating, not a big outdoor dining area, the bar is long and has the memories of the old day saloon. Now the food; terribly good! Menu isn't extensive but good items and variety that will satisfy anyone's appetite. It was Father's Day but as soon as it opened they were quickly filled with patrons and people kept coming; even waiting to get in. The fries in duck fat were awesome. Since so many baskets of fries like this for a long time. The smoked wings are great, meaty and savory. I had the pork belly tacos; my only disappointment was you only get 2 per order. The fine combination of ingredients were splendid and the pork belly so tender. My wife had the bbq pork sandwich on pretzel bun. Very good tasting and this was with no bbq sauce on it. If you're in the area, do yourself a a favor and stop in. I can't wait to go back ( as we live in southern Indiana) so might be a bit but definitely want to try a few other items.

I finally went to the waitress station and got the attention of I believe the manager; He took my drink order; a Diet Coke wit bourbon and a Gallant Chocolate Stout. The tap spit so he went back to tap another keg. Was taking sometime; so got attention of the bartender ( Chrisella sp? ). I switched to a Founders stout and DC/bourbon. She was on it and gave me menus. Took drinks back to table and looked over the menu options. Many sounded very good; but still no one to take order. Went to waitress station and Sella took our order. 1 mile burger and one smash burger and split fries. We moved to the bar as a few patrons had left. Enjoyed game and soon food arrived. The burgers were really good and fries nice and crisp. Seen some pretty nice hot dogs served along with some hot fries. Even though service was mostly extinct, Chrisella made up for it. I really liked the outside Biergarten and the business is very spacey and nicely decorated and lots of seating area.
