Wendy's in the Publix lot. I have to agree with the negative reviews. Not a good place to eat. I ordered a regular chicken sandwich to go. When I got home and started eating it, the chicken tasted burnt. Upon opening the bun and looking at the chicken, it was charred burnt. What's worse is it didn't taste fresh either, kind of like it was hanging around. The fries which were supposed to be a large size didn't look like a large and were limp and way too salty! I've been a long-time customer of this Wendy's location on Wickham Rd in Melbourne, but unfortunately the experience has gone downhill due to ongoing issues with a manager identified as "Jermaine." (spelling may vary) Most recently, my family was subjected to verbal abuse during a late-night visit near closing time, and this is not an isolated incident. I have myself personally also observed behavior that raises serious concerns about professionalism and overall store management, including how employees are treated and the general environment during active service. What's most concerning is that I have also observed conditions that may raise potential public health and food safety concerns during active operations, which should not be occurring in a food service environment. This has already been reported at the store level with no apparent resolution. At this point, I have escalated this matter beyond the store. I have contacted the franchise operator, 916 Florida LLC, including reaching out directly to managing member Chico Santiago, submitted a formal complaint with The Wendy's Company, and am prepared to escalate concerns to the Florida Department of Health if this is not addressed. I am also in the process of reaching out to senior corporate leadership, including Ken Cook and John Min, to ensure this situation is properly reviewed. I will update this review based on how this is handled. On a positive note, there is an employee named Ty (spelling may vary) who consistently provides excellent customer service and goes above and beyond, even in what appears to be a very understaffed environment. He is a great representation of what this location should strive to be. As a disabled individual, he makes each visit in the dining hall so personable and accommodating each and every time. I genuinely hope this is addressed, as I would prefer to continue supporting this location, but the current situation and prior incidents make that difficult. read more

I really like their food and it always makes me nostalgic because I used to go to one with my family in California when I was a little girl. The food was fresh tonight and made the way I ordered it. I got the #7 I recommend it! It was delicious a great burger with delicious bun--and had cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato , pickles just to name a few things on it. Five Stars. So disappointed this morning. Highway was backed up ended up coming down Wickham and was hungry. Order on app at this Wendy's and it was empty when I pulled up. Not busy at all. I order baconator meal that's a sandwich with bacon and sausage and long story short they gave me a wrap that was wrong and looked disgusting, runny eggs. I would have turned around if I didn't have to get to work. Please do better. I would like my money back or a voucher for a meal. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! This place is NOT worth even one star. The employees are extremely rude and food is just as bad. I went there this past Saturday October 29 at 8:15pm and grabbed a burger for my dog and a chicken sandwich for myself... as I got to the window to grab my food a very rude large women basically threw my drink at me without saying a word and then 2 seconds later I hear "Oooo let me see who gets this" and every worker was there at the window looking at me. Worst Wendy's I've ever been to. The fries were cold I had to go back in and get new ones. The new fries were even awful because the grease was old and get over it tasted horrible. Not the best old fashioned hamburger location I've visited. In the mall area so it's a quick stop with the kids. Drive through times as well as in side service are almost nonexistent. Shame. The food is decent. The same as other locations but I notice it's much hotter here. The customer service black hole is appalling. Stopped by for fries and a coke and my change was practically thrown back at me. The young woman on the other end of the speaker has this put off and bothered tone. I didn't realize that visiting a restaurant for food was a rude thing to do. I'm sorry. Almost always parking out front of the store. Huge Publix parking lot nearby so it's not a far walk. Maybe an extra ten seconds outside of the official Wendy's lot. Inside is clean. Decor needs an update but that goes for all Wendy's these days. Entrance directly out onto Wickham is probably one of the worst edits and entrances in the area. Traffic never stops unfortunately. So once you've run that gauntlet you can look forward to snappy service as you order a double with cheese. read more

An entrepreneur focuses on the customers, always seeking to satisfy them and gain more of them. Always looking to get them to come back on a regular basis. In the world of fast food restaurants this shows up in clean, attractive dining rooms and especially the bathrooms. It also shows up in the people working there. They're well trained, actually constantly trained and coached to exude positive attitudes and friendly towards customers. In the corporate financial holding company world the focus is always on continuous cost cutting. Cut expenses not matter what. Cut staffing, reduce their work hours to minimize impact of any supplemental benefits. Cut maintenance work, wait till it breaks. Forget about regular cleaning. Don't even think about investing in improving the dining rooms. The bathrooms? The law says you have to have them. It doesn't say they have to be pleasant, not reek of sewer gas and certainly not worth using disinfectant. Save even more by failing to open the dining rooms everyday. Lie to your customers and tell them " computers are down " even if they're running just fine for the drive through. Have your "managers" sit in the office all day hand writing reports instead of investing in modern management systems. Managers don't have to lead the staff or interact with customers because no one cares. Hide from your customers by removing all information on how to contact senior management. That way they can say "I've never heard any complaints. " read more

Placed a simple mobile order for me and girlfriend it was literally 2 meal deal combos nothing crazy... long story short i pull up to the drive thru and am told to come inside because mobile orders had to be picked up inside. No big deal I walk inside and nobody is there i wait about 5 minutes a guy and his son walk up order there food, the whole time i had already placed my oder through the app. 20 minutes go by and the man and his son get there food and I'm left standing there with nothing. I usually like to leave a awesome enjoyable review of stores. Unfortunately, every time I visit this particular location I feel rushed, the opposite of a customer, and I always get an excuse as to why the food and service is subpar. This particular time the person taking my order rushed me through my order and then when I had to change my method of payment they refused to take my payment and told me I had to pull forward without paying and sit and wait once I got to the second window I was told by someone in managerial position that I had to pull forward because he had a lot of cars in the line. The last time I checked every single car is ordering so that the business can thrive and they can have their jobs. I am confused about whether or not customers matter at this location from the moment I was asked what my order was to the moment I was told I could not have my order taken I felt unimportant and as though I was annoying them. The only reason I can give them 1 star is because the The person they sent out to my car did not continue to pressure me to come inside apparently Wendy's has so much pressure on their workers that the timer is more important than the person ordering from them. The cashier Raylene tried to overcharge us by putting in a combo for my husbands meal when he didn't ask for one. Then she copped an attitude with me because I asked for fresh fries when it took over six minutes to cook my chicken sandwich while the fries sat there getting cold on the counter. Also, my sandwich came without the bacon I had ordered and paid for and when I went back up to the counter, she cursed me out under her breath. Some people shouldn't be working in customer service, and she's a prime example. My family and I have gone here multiple times, and every time we go its the same thing. The workers are rude and the food is either not given to you, burnt, or both and sometimes even undercooked. When we go back to point this out we have been ignored, talked down to, or flat out told to "Deal with it" before eventually getting our food that was not very good to begin with. This place needs some major work. Probably because it is a piece of work. It should be called slow food because it sure isn't fast food. It took the family in front of me, and me nearly 30 minutes to get out simple order. All this while several other people came on, got their orders, and left.
