I go to the Wendy's 1501 on mchenery by Dutch and Dennys.. since i work down the road I come here for lunch kind of often. this guy is always taking my order. He always gets it wrong, charges me extra and leaves out things I actually asked for lol. and he ALWAYS constantly flirts. It's very uncomfortable and upsetting. I'm still not sure his name. When I went in tonight around 7pm I had an order ready and when I politely waited for my turn to go up in front, the manger came to me and ask "can I help you", I ask if my specific order was ready cause on the app it said it was, he replied rudely saying "nah it's not even ready yet can't you see I'm busy trying to take other orders". We thought that was very rude to say to us he could have politely said it wasn't ready in a different way of tone instead of being rude. Also, the workers in the back cooking was working really hard and I absolutely give them respect for the hard work they do back there cooking in a rush but mind you there was a Hispanic man that politely told the manger that the specific food was ready and the manger was just yelling at him saying to hurry up and the nice Hispanic man was telling him "ok ok calm down" and the manager kept being rude to everyone. The customer service skills are great, I'll give them that. They're always super friendly and helpful, but and this is a big one. They ALWAYS always always always mess up the order. Genuinely, don't leave until you check your bags and everything is right. Today was the second time that I've been through the drive through when the employee tried to pull a "prank." My total was 9.97, but when I drove to the window to pay, he said 29.97. I knew that this was a prank because the last time that I came, he told me a higher price at the window and I wasn't paying attention, so I gave him my debit card, and when I processed what had happened, I asked him to repeat the price, but he ignored me. Just went through the drive through. Will not be back. There was a younger kid, wearing a blue and black jacket with braces. I will never be back to this location because of him. He went to hand me my drink, and barley put his arm out the drive through window. He made zero effort to hand it to me. I really had to reach for it. At first it was awkward, but okay. Then he goes to give me my straw... he makes me reach even farther towards the window. Then to give me my bag of food, he basically had the the edge barley hanging out. NO MASK OR GLOVES worn by guy at drive thru window around 10:30 a.m. We have been through their drive thru line several times since pandemic and had pretty good chicken sandwiches and nuggets. But at least half the time, the food is not hot or fresh in appearance or taste. Fries are always cold. I called just now and spoke with a male who identified himself as " one of the managers". I told him about how the window was manned by a person who was not wearing gloves or mask. ..silence.i asked if that was just someone filling in or what...he said he would look into it . Chicken sandwich tasted ok,but was extremely dry, and I like dry sandwiches. I ate 3 bites and stopped because it was not even warm and seemed old by taste and temperature. I threw away the coffee iced drink after two tastes...one to start and one more before deciding if I should remove the ice and drink it later.
