They have a homeless man living in his truck in the parking lot for months now and a bunch of his buddies hanging out in the woods at the end of the lot next to his truck, didn't feel safe eating my drive thru order in the lot with what ever was going on in that truck , but the manager said that guy living in the truck is working for them , cooking cause they can't get any help . so what kind of personal hygiene could he possibly have where is he cleaning himself ? In the bathroom sink at Wendy's what does he do at night when they are closed does he go to the bathroom in their bushes because that truck has been in the same spot for months and god knows what health issues he may have . I called the manager about it and the corporate office and nothing has been done . So I no longer eat there and all my friends have stopped going there . There's hardly any cars anymore in line for food there , No one wants to get sick one visit the employee tried to charge me for the ranch dressing for the chicken nuggets and catsup , next visit the cola I got tasted like cleaning detergent was in it . So beware of this restaurant for your health and also safety with the homeless group living in the truck and hanging out in the woods at the corner of the parking lot . My kid really likes Wendy's or we would not come her at all. There's a fundamental problem with this company, so it's difficult to blame the employees, but managers should do better. I say this because my latest adventure to Wendy's was at lunch on a Friday. The manager took a personal phone call and went back to the office, but not before she wrapped a burger with the phone on her shoulder and placed the sandwich on a cardboard box that another employee retrieved for the window. That's just a small sampling of the chaos of Wendy's and it seems to be at many of their restaurants around the country. At this store, there is almost always a very, very slow line. The employees look miserable. That may be because they don't have the resources to do their job well (training, etc.), but I can't say for sure. This Wendy's location is pretty lackluster. I base this on several visits, not just one incident. The lobby is open for carry out orders only, and since the drive through here was such an ordeal when I tried it I have ventured inside twice. Tonight was the last straw. I stood at the counter, three employees were assembling orders and they all looked up but no one acknowledged me. That's cool, I actually expect that here. The associate that finally approached the counter did something different- he just raised his eyebrows at me. I guess to encourage me to order. I ordered and he walked away. Staff chooses when to close the restaurant. If I was the owner of this location I would be livid. This is based if several incidents around 1030-1130pm when the store is open until midnight. Always someone in-front of me getting food from the drive though window. I guess once they get a few people in line they tell them they are closed. I pulled out parked and went inside to see what the heck was going on, 15 min at the counter because the girl only wanted to take 2 orders at a time ( to not get backed up) ??? This is a good Wendy's restaurant in a convenient location for me. They are fast and the drive thru line moves fast. However, this is not this restaurants issue but Wendy's IT department. I use the Wendy's app on my phone along with many other apps to order and pay for products and food. When I add a credit card to the app I expect it will be used as is when I make a food purchase. The Wendy's app asked me for a CCV number before I could place my order. This is a problem as I may not be carrying that card with me. I hope Wendy's will change this and not require a CCV. None of the other restaurants I use require it. read more

Jr bacon cheeseburger was burnt. I've never gotten anything burnt from a fast food place in my life, they obviously have god awful quality control. Fries were clearly not fresh and very underdone. Also they put pickles on my husbands burger. Even says "no pickles" on the receipt so I know they heard me. Maybe they just didn't want to make it to order. The drive thru line was long and this location is not opened up to walk inside, or I would have complained then and there. my wife was waited on by a light hair young kid with bad acne who was very rude. my wife couldn't hear him very well as she has a hearing impairment and he got annoyed at her which upset and embarrassed her. after that she just started nodding at him to which he decided to mimicking her in a very disrespectful fashion. this treatment of people with disabilities is disgusting and if this indicative of your staff that explains why you ratings are so poor. this young man should be terminated if you have any sense of decency. read more

Bad experience!!! Went to the drive thru ordered Dave's double combo. Parked my car opened the burger. Surprise it was a single burger. Went inside to report the problem. The lady handed me another burger. Surprise it was a single!!! Finally they handed me a double. Didn't even offer any thing for my trouble. Ordered with Uber eats, at 10:20 pm, the lady waited in line for over an hour for them to tell her they didn't have my order when I had already paid and Uber could see it on their end where it was there. My Uber eats driver tried to be reasonable and ask if they could just see where I had paid and make it, they told her no (when they've done it before because this isn't a first time thing apparently). I live in garden City and have not been to this restaurant for about eight months. I always enjoyed Wendy's until I went to this location for takeout The service was awful and slow , the food cold, and I ordered the chilli and got almost all soup (no meat). Review is not of the inside - only drive-thru and food itself. This Wendy's was slammed at 2pm, but it's located at the entrance of a Myrtle Beach mall and I went in June, so not all that surprising. I got in line with about 10 cars in front of me, but from waiting to ordering to paying to recieving my food it took under 10 minutes. Very impressive! I'm not much for fast food, but I have to say that the burger looked like it could have been on a commercial. It was pretty tasty, too (although I had been walking around outside in the sweltering heat for 2 hours so I was starving!). I would recommend this Wendy's for a quick hunger fix. read more
