This was probably the worst service and food I have ever received from this location. I used the mobile app to place my order. I ordered a nice sized order. I ordered 5 biggie bags, 6 pc nugget and a chili. When I got to the window, I was informed they were completely out of chili. Fine, no big deal, but they would only offer me fries as a substitution. I said that I had already 5 orders of fries. I asked if they could just refund it and the employee that was kind of out of site, I'm assuming management, but she was very rude. I heard her say she can either get fries or to call the number on the app. It was the attitude that was absurd. When I received my food, they were missing chicken nuggets from one of the biggie bags and the 6pc nuggets. When I went inside to let them know, they wanted to try and act like I removed stuff from the bag to get free stuff. Nope, going inside was not something I wanted to even deal with. They rudely handed me the nuggets. The food was cold, all of it. They only gave us 3 straws, for five drinks. The nuggets were like rubber. I keep giving this location chances, but tonight was the last time. I will drive the additional 5 minutes or so to go to a different location. I did call the number on the app. They offered a $20 credit on my app, so I appreciated that. It doesn't help with being disrespected by store employees, but what can you do about it. read more

I ordered online and attempted to pick up through the drive thru. when i pulled up, they told me they would not be taking any more orders. i told them i had already placed a mobile order in advance, and they told me to leave. i stayed in line to see if i could get a refund, and out of the four workers, none of them knew how. the service here is terrible and i never got refunded. read more

To say my experience was a disappointment would be an understatement. Let's start from the beginning. My best friends and I, along with our boyfriends, wanted to try the new Krabby Patty burger. We were expecting a delicious and joyous experience. Instead it took 25 plus minutes to get our food. While we were waiting the staff was arguing with one another. They even threatened to fight each other. When we finally did get it, it was completely wrong. They "tried" to fix it, but it still managed to be wrong. We decided to eat the wrong meal anyways and we were surrounded by bugs the entire time. It was absolutely sickening. They were flying around and landing on our food. Also the fry's tasted like complete garbage. We ended up throwing them away and going to McDonalds. Trust me those fry's were delicious. Poor service. Monday March 10, 2025 @ 6:10pm I go in the restaurant to order & see absolutely no one in sight. After 5 mins of waiting 3 employees get out of a burgundy colored vehicle which is parked in front in the small parking area; 2 girls & one guy. They were all obviously smoking weed because I smelled it when they all walked past me. Not only is it unsanitary & a health code violation, but you're not supposed to be @ your job smoking marijuana while a customer is waiting. No integrity whatsoever. NORWOOD DO BETTER. I asked for a baked potato and they didn't have any, so I asked if I could have a minute so I could ask my girlfriend what she wanted. While this was happening he held the button down on the mic and whistled into it. I asked for a cheeseburger and he said "do you want a real cheeseburger like a Dave's single or do you just want a jr cheeseburger?" (just called cheeseburger on the menu) By the time I got home with my food (2 minutes away) everything was cold but the nuggets and I'm pretty sure my burger has been sitting out for a few hours. its visibly dry and stale. I honestly can not comment on the food or the staff . I have been to this location 4 times and have never been served . First time a girl came out to the drive thru and told me that they could not serve any more people . There was one person in front me . Twice I was told the drive thru window was broken and the last time I was told to come back later as they were having their employee holiday party . At noon on a weekday . This location is a mess! Instead of opening their lobby, they are forcing customers to walk the drive thru. This is really not a great idea, especially with cars still using the drive thru as well. The last time I tried to go in, they told me I had to use the drive thru because their lobby cash registers were broken. I'm avoiding this location at all cost! Stopped by here to get a quick snack for lunch. This was an interesting Wendy's experience. It took someone three mins to even say anything to me over the drive thru speaker thing. I actually had to say "excuse me?" and "hello?" to get someone's attention. I would understand a little more if there was a lunch rush or something like that but it was only one car in front of me in the line. BUT! When I got to the window she apologized for the wait which I appreciate and the longest I had to wait was to give my order. I was done at the window pretty quickly. So maybe there was just a connection issue or something was going on inside that held up my order being taken. Who knows. I've never been inside this Wendy's so can't speak to that but it wasn't a terrible experience. The food was fine. It's Wendy's it tastes good. Yes Update! I went back and waited in like 25 mins then when I got to the speaker thing I waited another 5 mins before I even ordered. Crazy and I'm done there. I live less than 5 minutes up the street from this Wendy's. I've gone there 5 times in the last 3 months. Only one of those times did I receive service. It seems like the staff are always looking for any excuse not to do their job. One time, I pulled up around 9:30. I sat at the intercom for almost 5 minutes before someone came and told me "Sorry, it'll be a few minutes before any food orders can be made, we're in the middle of a shift change". When I asked how long it would be before I could order food, they said HALF AN HOUR TO 45 MINUTES? FOR A SHIFT CHANGE? The next time I came, I sat behind another car in the drive through line for nearly 10 minutes, and no one came over the speaker, even after he called out asking if anyone was there several times. I left and went to another place nearby. The other two experiences I received no service due to them not taking debit or credit cards at those times. Avoid if possible, and if you have to dine here, order inside. It's your only chance at getting half decent service if the lobby is even open. read more

Literally the worst fast food restaurant. I've DoorDashed 2 times from here, first time they forgot my entree, second time they forgot my fries and cookie. Tried to go through the drive thru 3 separate times, first time they couldn't take any orders bc the system was down, second time they closed earlier, third time only taking cash. Wendy's was just remodeled. Love the new look. Went to the drive thru and was a bit slow. When I got my food, the fries were hot, but hamburger tasted like it was sitting out for awhile (went late night). Maybe the best time not to go is late at night, employees seem to have an attitude. I would go for lunch, but It's rare that I eat fast food and by reading the other reviews is pretty poor. I probably will not return, sorry. read more

Looks like I'm not the only person that has dealt with the dine in/drive thru situation according to the reviews. Placed an order on the app for carry out pickup and also checked the hours to make sure they were serving lunch. As I got inside, the girl rudely stated that they were drive thru only. I mentioned I wasn't driving as I had been out for a walk and she proceeded to walk around the counter, passed me, to lock the dining room door. No mention of anything or even an apology. I told her I already paid for my 2 grilled chicken sandwiches and finally another guy told me it would be about 5-6 mins since they were still cooking and preparing for lunch. I'm typing this review as I'm waiting because this is ridiculous. The app took my order, took my payment, the app even updated the menu according to the hours, Google states the hours, but they act like I did something wrong. He takes gloves off to run the register and does not replace them as he grabs an order of nuggs for another customer. The lobby is far from clean on the floors and other non eating spots. Since the remodel this is again a respectable Wendy's location. It can be overrun later in the evening since the entire Surrey Square complex gets out of control from 7-10pm. The new decor is fresh and pleasant, though, so during non-peak hours it's enjoyable to sit and watch the endless chaos unfold in the parking lot. The food is pretty standard for a Wendy's. I haven't had any terrible experiences, but the spicy chicken is sometimes clearly cooked ahead of time which makes it lose the crispy perfection of the breading. There was a very long line of cars in the drive through, so I decided to walk in instead. I was told that they were not taking any more walk-in orders by a very mean lady behind the counter. I didn't understand why she didn't want to take my order, while there were other people in there who were waiting on their orders, so I asked, "Why?" She did not answer me, and instead, just looked at me blankly and gestured for me to leave the restaurant with a small movement of her head, while telling me that they were only doing doordash orders or something like that.
