So I'm not doing reviews as often as I was but I'm still out and about. I thought the Wendy's in Pittsfield, MA deserved special recognition because things have really turned around here. I intentionally stopped coming some time last year because on a visit I'd ordered an Asiago Chicken sandwich and it literally looked like it had been run over by a truck. Earlier this year, I decided to try them again and found that they have a new GM named Jimmy Hallock and the difference between managerial styles is evident and apparent. The store is clean, the service is top notch and the food is always hot and delicious. I got the Asiago Chicken Sandwich again and it actually looked better than the commercial. How often does that happen? Wendy's corporate should take notice because this is the Berkshires and there aren't many selections in places to enjoy a fast food burger late. Thanks Jimmy! Well we came back for a late lunch around 3:30 pm and we're pleasantly surprised at the outcome today!! Our order was a Double Double, Double Baconator, (both of which were super fresh and hot off the grill ), we split a large French fry which was epic crispy and fresh out the fryer, and we got two Classic Chocolate Frostys... amazingly cold and smooth and creamy!! Don't go here ever. They don't care about thier customers. Here's what happened to me. I ordered online. I went and used thier bathroom. I found out it was out of toilet paper. I called the store. They refused to help me. I had to call the non emergency number and have to police call them to get them to bring toilet paper. I didn't know they brought it till I called the store again. They left it on the sink outside the stall. Didn't tell me when they brought it, give it to me under the stall or apologize. I tried talking to the manager. He didn't want to talk to me. I called the Wendys helping and no one ever got back to me. Horrible store and company. read more

A picture is worth a thousand words. What can I say about the sausage??? Not hot, no butter on biscuit. Cheese was not melted. Egg was dry, rubbery. Could have been used as a photo prop. This pic was taken on 10/19/20 at 9am. I haven't been back since. My husband went for chili, received 2 beans and a few crumbled meat pieces in a liquid. Complained to the MANAGER. Not sure why this place gets a bad rap. I love walking across pebbles at 2 in the afternoon, narrowly avoiding getting hit by cars in the drive through, to use the only unlocked door. Walking inside, the sweating swearing staff are a welcome relieve from the quiet comfort of my car. The greasy floors mean that you slide right up to the counter to order your food which you can guarantee will be made incorrectly. Don't worry though, I'm 20 short minutes you'll have your cold food brought back to you made correctly (somewhat). In the bathrooms, the smell of feces on the floor and walls mixes great with the cigarette smoke from half the staff smoking outside. read more

So interestingly enough, in three years I don't believe I've ever received my intended and correct order from the location. It's Wendy's, so I'm not expecting a Michelin star dining experience, but I'm confused by how a business can operate so poorly for so long. Worst breakfast meal in Berkshire County!! I ordered 3 sandwich meals and 2 of them were wrong. The sandwiches were room temperature and the fries were cold. Twice in the last week I've stopped at 10pm and ordered a baconator. Both times I've gotten a single patty and bacon that is litterally a 1/8" thick leather strip essentially. The bacon I can understand being old at 10pm but how do you only put one patty on? read more

We stopped for lunch on a Saturday afternoon (09/07). The place was really busy, dine-in and drive thru. A somewhat disorganized operation, one customer's order was inadvertently deleted or marked as "complete" (don't know their official language) and they waited until the customer complained about those who ordered after her getting their food first. Our meal was hot & fresh, but many of the soda flavors were out, which indicates either an ordering issue or folks that just don't know how to prep for a lunch rush. One customer pushed his way through to the counter to get an employee to fill his drink using the drive-thru soda dispenser. Perhaps most of the customers are "just passing through" so they figure they'll only disappoint them once. read more

So we had been planting in the garden needed to run to Home Depot for a few things decided to grab supper at Wendy's, first of all the dining room is closed so that's ok we get in drive up line wait 35 minutes to get to the ordering kiosk and the women says one moment which is fine came back two more times to say that and we waited and waited finally after another 15 minutes we drove off , I believe she was the only one working and I believe I saw her leave the and drive off-this place gone in the dump! read more

The guy then proceeded to argue with me saying I wasn't reading that on the sign because it's not offered. Not sure if he's high or stupid but sign clearly says it is offered. I can't remember a single time when I went to this Wendy's without having to wait in the drive thru for more than twenty minutes. And once I finally pull up to order, they make us wait another ten to fifteen minutes. If you are in a hurry, do NOT come to this Wendy's unless you have patience on your side. And not only do they make you wait, the wait is never worth it. I have had my order messed up on multiple occasions, where they give me the wrong food even after I have had to CONSTANTLY repeat myself of what I wanted. Sometimes they'll even screw up and give me other people's orders - and have even told me they could not take the food back. And some employees are very unprofessional and rude with their responses. They can go from being slow, make you have to repeat yourself, or even laugh out loud over the mic when you are trying to talk. Wendy's, if you want good business and to have people quit leaving the drive thrus due to how long we have to wait, hire more staff OR hire actual professional employees instead of hiring just anybody that does a worse job than a five year old. read more

All week, I've been dreaming of nothing more than a Frosty from this Fine Establishment. All week, I've been thinking of dipping fantastically salted fries into an amazing cup of frozen chocolate deliciousness. As a camp counselor who hasn't had a break in days, I've wanted this much like I've wanted my kids to go to sleep at night. Tonight my dreams were shattered at approximately 10:30pm when I arrived at the drive thru to purchase a Chocolate Frosty and fries. I had to drive someone else's car in order to reach my destination, but had a break down in the line when the words "...We aren't serving Frosty's, we took the machine apart for the night," rang across the speaker. I'm heartbroken. My life is in shambles, and I can't go on. I had to settle for a coca-cola and some fries, which were cold and unsalted. Really substandard in just about every department. Awkward location, tough to find, even with Waze. Dirty. Fishy taste to the hamburger. Undisciplined crew. Slow service. No ketchup cups. And the prices seemed higher than what I recall from recent visits to Wendy's restaurants in New York and Connecticut. Location was attractive and the burger was great, but they charged me incorrectly. I got a medium number 1, with a coke, which was listed on the sign as being $4.19. Somehow it ended up coming to $8.20. Lost. Receipt made no sense either. Ok, so after waiting in the busy drive thru, the order taker starts off nice, I say a number 3, she asks the drink... didn't ask if I wanted a single, double, or triple or what size. Then she gives the total and says to pull up. So I say make that a double, and medium size. Reply is "Ok pull up", but I wasn't done ordering. So I order the next item which was all I needed. I pay. I get handed my drink and my food, speed was fine. I reach in the bag, fries are nasty, sip my drink, it's gross... like every flavor on the machine mixed into my cup. I open my burger... single... (wanted and said a DOUBLE) served on cold bread, meat was cold. Like not even 5 minutes after receiving it... it's already cold. I look in the bag... and conveniently there is NO receipt. This location is awful. Has been for a long time... and probably won't change anytime soon. The plague of the local minimum wage eateries.... crap quality and crap service... but ridiculously priced because of the customer counts being lower. read more

Save yourself a trip, dining room randomly closed most days, drive thru can't seem to wait on more than one car at a time, then you end up waiting for food. More often than not, your order is wrong or Food not hot or even lukewarm. I am getting quite disgusted with the Wendy's on Hubbard Ave., Pittsfield, MA. 50% of the time I stop, I have to request a receipt. Last evening I went to get some chocolate Frosties -- I was told, none were available (a little disappointing after driving 4 miles to get there & this is not the first time this has occurred). Tonight I went to the restaurant and arrived about 7:45 pm - they apparently closed early. I think that is a little too early when they advertise their hours open until midnight. I'd give this restaurant a lower rating if I could. The restaurant could not process more than one order per car (they told us we had to sit in line again). They charged us for three sandwiches, but only gave us two. They were rude when we pointed it out to them and the manager would not talk to us. By far one of the slowest drive-thru lines ever and this happens all the time! It's almost as if they forget about us here waiting in the drive-through line. The only reason I'm still coming here and waiting in these long lines is because it's either Wendy's or Taco Bell and sometimes after waiting 20 minutes in the drive-through line at Wendy's I decide to leave and go across the street to the much quicker drive through line at Taco Bell. read more

This is a very good location. I have gone many times and it is always great. Once I got chicken nuggets that were less than warm but I didn't mind, I was hungry. They're very nice. It's clean inside. What do you want from your local fast food joint? Quick service, polite staff, food that, if not exceptional, is great at 1AM or when hungover. AND, not screwing up your simple order at least half the time you go This Wendy's has yet to let me down in any of those areas. The burgers, nuggets and frosties are all on point- the only thing I prefer from another place is Mickey D's fries. I used to like the Taco Bell there, but that's been a total dumpster-fire lately. Everyone there was polite, and I even joked around with some of them. My stuff came out in like 2 minutes and I never had to pull aside to wait. If you go somewhere on Hubbard avenue, make it here.
