This place is a real gem. Great trendy comfort food, friendly people and atmosphere. We opted for take out back to the house but they have outdoor picnic tables. Highly recommend

Astonishing quality for a roadside "shack"! This was AMAZING - fresh, unique, tasty and reasonable for a farm to table quality lunch - highly recommend!

First time here. Fed group from age 11 to 99. Everyone was pleased. I only wish my veggie sandwich was grilled. If the cheese was melted it would have rocked. Definitely coming back.

KDawg with the works! Amazing! Best rings I've had I a long time too. Gotta put this one on the list!!!!

So glad to have stumbled upon this place yesterday. Great Reuben-so big I had to take home half. And my husband liked his chocolate shake.

Stopped by for a donut and a soft serve both were delicious. The only thing to make it better would be a fresh (still warm ) donut!!

An absolute hidden gem in New Lebanon!…read more OMG, what an adorable little cafe! We were in New Lebanon and looking for somewhere to eat around 7:30 PM. Being a small town, there weren't many options still open, so we called to see if they were still serving dinner. The sweetest lady answered and told us their kitchen closed at 8:00 PM, but they would still be happy to take us. We're SO glad we called! The moment we walked in, we loved the place. It was beautifully decorated, with fresh wildflowers they had picked themselves, the tables were set so nicely, and everything had such a warm, cozy, welcoming feel. We were seated immediately and had ice water at the table right away. The service from beginning to end was seriously top-notch. Then the wonderful lady helping us, and I'm so sorry we didn't get her name, brought out freshly baked mini blueberry muffins. OH. MY. GOODNESS. They were DELICIOUS. That was the moment we looked at each other and knew dinner was going to be good. And it absolutely was! Our daughter ordered an omelette, my wife had the steak frites, and I ordered the chicken piccata. Every single dish was delicious. My wife also ordered a blueberry cosmo, which she loved! At this point we were completely stuffed, but there was no way we were leaving without trying dessert. We ordered the red velvet cake AND the chocolate croissant bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Did we need both? Absolutely not. Did we finish them anyway? Pretty much! The food was just THAT good. We kept telling ourselves we were full and somehow kept taking another bite. What really made this place special, though, was the hospitality. We came in close to closing time, and instead of ever making us feel rushed or like an inconvenience, they welcomed us with kindness and gave us a wonderful dinner experience. That says a lot about a place. 5 stars all the way. If you're anywhere near New Lebanon, do yourself a favor and stop here. Places like this deserve all the support and business they can get. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and genuinely wonderful people. We will DEFINITELY be back, and next time we're coming for breakfast!

I picked up a matcha latte here, and my friend catered a delicious brunch from this spot!…read more I appreciated that the matcha didn't come pre-sweetened. It could've been whisked/blended a bit better (separated a bit), but I was happy with it overall. Regarding the catering, I was a big fan of the avocado toast (super fresh and creamy and nice flavor) and tasty muffins (I enjoyed the blueberry muffin.) It takes a bit to make drinks / food, so be sure to allocate some time--this isn't one of the factory-like cafes that churn out drinks / whip out ready-made food. The interior is cute and has assorted offerings of general foods/supplies that were fun to peruse.

Perfect meal. Perfect service. Everything was delicious!…read more We visited for a family birthday and the welcoming on arrival was pleasant. Warm beautiful dining room with a wood burning fireplace, with a fire going, on a chilly night. Ann, our server was perfect. Perfect timing and flow, gave us recommendations and bussed empty glasses and plates every pass. They start you off with warm fresh Italian bread and a bean salad. Both were tasty and they also said popovers are coming. Another staff appeared with a piping hot fresh baked basket of popovers and gave us each one. It didn't even need butter. Amazing. It felt like being in a bakery in Italy or Europe. Next, our apps and salads arrived. The calamari was tasty, as was the mushroom beignets. I wasn't used to this style of mushroom caps but boy were they delicious. The salad was tasty and came with fresh homemade bread bits as croutons. Everyone at the table enjoyed the apps, the popovers, and our entree. The specials list and deserts sounded wonderful but it was just so much food, we were full. A+ all around and I will be going back soon.

The food is to die for- we ordered the fried burrata for an appetizer, and lasagna for entree. Lovely place and service is prompt and everyone is so nice. We also asked the bartender to make an elderflower spritz and it turned out delicious!

We shared the Pretzel and the fried pickles. Both were very good-but I will say the pretzel may have been the saltiest I've ever had and I bet if they gave them away they would make the lost revenue and then some back with increased drink sales...but having said that, we enjoyed it and love the accompanying beer cheese. The fried pickles were also very good and wouldn't hesitate to order them again. We LOVE the fried chicken sandwich here-so we ordered that again to split and split a basic cheese burger again. My mom was adventurous and ordered some kind of specialty burger and it was great! We all got the onion rings which are def what I recommend upgrading to personally-these are some of the best I've had and if I came solo I would get the chicken sandwich with onion rings. The pizzas do look solid but we had pizza already so that is another thing I would consider trying. One last note about the place, we visited this place in various states of business-the first being a Saturday and easily the busiest around 3ish. We went mid-week for lunch and that day it was slower but still had some folks in at around approx 2-3pm. Finally we came on Friday afternoon sometime after 3pm and left just before 4pm if I recall and it was fairly dead. I do think this place gets busy because it makes some good food and there is not a lot of other good options very close-there are 2 well reviewed on Yelp and one of them is another go-to for us...but if you like a good bar/roadhouse kind of vibe that makes good food I would def recommend you give it a shot!

Hugely disappointed…read more Two stars for ample parking (a rarity in Pittsfield), our server, and KENO. Menu looked right up our alley. Had nachos to start and the Hudpucker Smashburger. Wanted to keep it simple and at its core competency. Nachos were dry, luke warm and had huge strips of romaine lettuce - like salad size (there's irony coming up). 2oz soufflé cups of sour cream and jarred salsa were our only refuge. Made a huge mistake and got the steak add on. Cold, stringy steak-um type product thrown on the top in one large lump. Their smashburger is not a thin smashed patty that may come to your mind. It's a standard 6oz pre-form that they call "smash" as an excuse to put a steak weight on it and cook it beyond recognition. The brioche bun is "fake brioche." Has the outer look, but is super dry and tasteless. The irony was I ordered and paid for a side salad. It came in a tiny soup cup and in it had the shredded lettuce and pico I would expect on the nachos. Just really was hopeful. I could see a good vibe at times in there if you're under 25yrs old. Otherwise, the atmosphere offered little to off-set the meal.

Walking through the restaurant it was very dark - I understand wanting a romantic ambience but this was too dark. We opted to sit outdoors which was lovely - a beautiful evening. Our server was very nice but there was some confusion about our beer order. My husband told her what he wanted, but then told her he wanted it with his meal. She said it was ordered already (goes directly from her portal to the bartender) so it is probably on the bar waiting for her. She brought it to us right away because she didn't want it to get warm on the bar, but then it sat outside and got warm while we waited an extraordinarily long time for our meal. I know that the website says everything is made to order and takes a while but this seemed like way too long. Then when it arrived the lasagne that my husband had was very dark on top as if it was burned - like it had been reheated under a burner. My eggplant lasagne was delicious. No complaints there. And our Siberatas salad was very good. I would like to go back and give it another try since everyone else seems to have a good experience.

I've actually never been asked that before. I guess I've assumed that the kitchen would prepare the dish properly. Does anyone order salmon well done? It came out medium and delicious.
