Considering the tiny area that it's in, this is probably about the best fast food in this town. It's fast, friendly, reliable at just about any time you choose. Just about any small town will have a limited supply of customer service oriented staff, but they seem to keep great people working here. Both the drive thru and dine in options area good choices. The two advantages of the dine in experience would be the machine that can select many different varieties of Coke products. Also it's often said your food comes out quicker at inside, but this could all be conjecture. We have never had a bad experience in several years except when the line wraps around the building during rush times. It's right off the I-24 and easy to get to, but be mindful of the tank trap style potholes near the Shell Station entrance. read more

The burgers were not warm, the frosties were not frosty but melted, and the fries were too salty. We were charged more for the small patty for the dog than we usually pay at Wendy's. We paid $22 for one Dave's single, one kid burger, a small patty, and 2 small frosties. We didn't enjoy any of it. No, that's not entirely true. Our dog did enjoy his patty. I've loved Wendy's for as long as I can remember. That said, it's gotten so expensive. The single combo meal was about $10. And, even worse, it didn't taste great. The bun tasted different than it used to, and the beef patty was warm, but not hot. Definitely a miss. read more

Went here after 4:00 through drive thru. People working were really nice. My food was hot, and service was fast.

Usually the food is prepared right and comes out hot. I usually use the drive thru. Tonight we had our grandkids and the drive thru was wrapped around the building. So we decided to go in and get it to go. We had to use the order machines and place our own order. After looking the order over 3 different times and making some adjustments, we placed the order. We got home and all the food was wrong. We had 3 orders of nuggets, all the same. But they gave us one order of spicy ones. The other 2 were right. The order was short a small fry. The Jr burgers were to have pickle and onion only. But came with everything. And it all had to be taken off and the mustard and ketup wiped off. The other Jr burger was supposed to have bacon and it didn't have bacon on it. All the food was cold including the burgers. They also didn't give dipping sauce for the nuggets like we ordered on the machine. Yes we got it to go but considering we only live one mile from Wendy's. The food should have still been hot when we arrived home. We were home in less than 5 min after walking out the door. Not sure if the machine sent the wrong order even though it showed right or what happened. Usually it's a good experience but this time was horrible. Please do a double check of your food before leaving especially if u use the order machines for a bigger order. If u don't have to use a machine to order your food then don't. read more

This results in this place NOT being fast food at all. It took an hour in the drive through to get our food. There were only 8 cars in front of us. We saw many people leave while waiting in line! The chances of these folks actually staying open the full shift is up in the air. I've also been denied business for the system being down about a dozen times.. they say they'll be up in 5 minutes but they aren't gonna be. They give you the same line every time. I'm a local and that being said, this used to be the best Wendy's around. That was like 10 years ago though smh They cut off all the lights to avoid business when it's late at times and don't seem to stay very well staffed. These people will close early for low staff then sit on the clock in front of the store until closing. It's absurd they get away with it. I've always been very pleased with my experience at Wendy's. It's always my pick for fast food in Pleasant View. Service is always great and my order is correct. It is unbelievable how terrible this place is at everything. It doesn't matter if there is no one in line or 10 people in line, you will be waiting there at least 20 minutes to get a single sandwhich. Your order will never be correct and the food will be barely put together. The people who work there make it clear that they could give a care in the slightest and seem almost purposefully to move slow. In my 27 years of life, I have never made a complain to a manager of a restaurant (be that fast food, chain dining, or fine dining) except this place. It is just awful in every regard. read more

Starving/hangry on 2/24/15 we hit the drive thru on our way from the airport to our hotel in Hopkinsville, KY. The lady taking the order was flippant and therefore I docked a star BUT the order was correct (I had my doubts) and it was good quality. I ordered a grilled chicken combo w/ a baked potato w/ sour cream. I added a pretzel bun for $.30, pickles, and onion- no honey mustard. My boyfriend had the baconator combo and said it was tasty and the fries were amazingly good- their fries are usually where Wendy's poops the bed. Anyway, our total less tax was $13.63 which included 2 drinks. The diet coke was good. If in the area and craving Wendy's, I would swing through. read more

The lady at the front counter was lazy and was not paying attention to us while we were placing our order. She got all of our sandwiches messed up. They blamed the man that was fixing food when ultimately it was the girl taking our order. We order four combos and 3 of them were wrong only because it was nuggets. read more

I've never had a problem here food wise. The staff usually seems a bit crazed (assuming they're short staffed?) and are always tongue-tied when I go through the drive thru. I suppose that happens to the best of us, so I can't dock points for that. I've actually never eaten inside so I can't say anything regarding the conditioning of the dining area. Concerning food, I love the Son of Baconator and chili! My favorite meal there for these cold months! I'm not crazy about the location since it's attached to a gas station and a Dunkin Donuts, and having room to drive around can be challenging at times. Since it's right off the interstate I suppose all these businesses being attached is more convenient for travelers so they don't have to stop at more than one place for gas and a meal. read more

Staff is so friendly! Stopped here recently and my granddaughter was not feeling well. The lady in the drive through wrote her a little get well message on top of her Sprite cup! I was so touched! This personal touch is rare these days especially in a drive through! Best chili also! read more

I honestly don't even want to give this wendy's a one star. The past couple of times i've gone through the drive-thru at 10 or later it's always the same cashier which has the WORST attitude. Tonight, our order was larger but she handed us our stuff and with the last bag she said that's it and just expected us to drive off. So when we did we checked everything and we were missing 3 ITEMS. She also failed to give us a receipt, so luckily the food was waiting when we went back in to get it. UPDATE: Gave it another try yesterday, but if anything it's gotten worse. They seem to be hopelessly understaffed. There was no line at all, but several people came in behind us and then just left before ordering when it was apparent that it was going to take a looooonnng time to get something to eat. Our order took close to 15 minutes to complete, and we had to go back for an item that they forgot. It looks like they're trying to cut costs by running it with as few employees as possible. If they keep this up their costs will be zero since it will be out of business. Wow....if the people who work in this place were any slower they would be moving backward. I've seen several occasions where people in the drive-thru lane just give up and leave, even after placing an order. I spent 15 minutes there this morning, with ONE CAR in front of me, waiting for a simple breakfast order. I would have left, but there was another vehicle right behind me and there was no room to pull out. I see from the reviews on here that their service problems have been going on for at least the last year or so. Service was very slow. My son pulled a hair out of his mouth half way through his burger. When we brought it up to the front, 6 employees gathered around to stare at it without any apologies. They gave us a replacement burger, but disgusting. read more

Out of all the fast food restaurants in Pleasant View this ones probably the best! Of course your gonna wait a little longer for your food. They cook the meat very fresh, and it never sits on the grill long enough to get dry or over cooked. My favorite thing to get is the spicy chicken sandwich. If they aren't cooked very fresh you can tell, but they still aren't that bad. The staff inside don't really know what their doing.. but you gotta think. It's mainly all teenagers who work after school for 4-5 hours. Its their first job. They are gonna screw up and make mistakes. The worst Wendy's I have ever been to. The kitchen is disgusting with food and trash all over the floor. They either don't salt the fries, or when you ask them to salt the fries, they get rude with it. Getting decent food is a crap shoot. I've decided I'm not eating there anymore after seeing the kitchen in such a mess so many times. read more

If you're in a hurry, then this is NOT the fast food place for you. They usually have one person taking orders, and this very same person is usually the person who has to fill the order as well. They get easily confused so it's best to check your order before you leave the restaurant or pull away from the drive-up window. read more
