Stopped here because my husband was making a big deal (not really) and because I was also hungry. It is in the rest stop at Port St. Lucie and when we got inside we were surprised to see big kiosk booths that you are able to order from so you don't need to go to the counter and order to a person anymore. The service was very slow but in their defense it was lunchtime during a Saturday. While the service was slow and we had to wait a bit, when we got our food it was the hottest that I have ever had food from Wendy's before honestly. The chicken nuggets were nice sized and we got a ghost pepper ranch sauce to go along with them. The sauce was amazing and while it may seem hot, there was not much of a spice to it and it was more of a nice heat in your mouth. Staff could be a little friendlier but not going to complain about that when the food was served insanely hot and exactly how I ordered. The cashier was very rude gave me what she wanted not what I ordered was so unprofessional I wish she could put the same effort to customer service and listen like she puts make up and does her hair. Rude manager who berated my mother for asking to please hurry, as there were 20 people waiting on food and had been waiting for almost half an hour standing there. This manager just kept telling us to step aside - there were so many people, there was literally nowhere to stand! This man refused to help make food and kept referring to my mom as a "Karen" and berating her with the other staff. She is 65 years old, he is an adult himself and needs to be professional! Service was terrible. 40 minutes to get a medium fries. Don't waste your time here. Huge line with people not being able to place orders and only one kiosk available to order. There was a mob or angry people demanding refunds and people skipping the line. Workers were fighting with the manager and only staring at the screen rather than cooking. read more

Stopped by for a quick bite passing by on the turnpike, Wendys seemed like the fastest option as it's "fast food". However that was not the case. The line to order took about 15 min, after ordering it took about 30 minutes to actually receive my nuggets and fries (which all they have to do is heat up the frozen items) apparently that is rocket science as 6 employees in the back were moving as if time was slow motion. By the time I received my food, my frosty was a sad chocolate soup. The fries were cold and stale. I will say the chicken nuggets were slightly above room temperature. My partners "baconator" was just buns, meat patty, one strip of bacon, ketchup and Mayo.... No lettuce, tomato, or onion... idk if they ran out of the items but that was the saddest baconator I've ever seen. Employees need a new training asap! There weren't many people in line. The two girls in the back were moving like molasses. Usually I have a lot of patience but I got annoyed when they gave us our frostys and I thought our food was to follow but it took them an extra 15 minutes get the food ready. I asked what was going on and let them know that they served dessert before the meal. I only ordered a small order of nuggets. The woman behind the counter approached the counter and I put my hand up to get the meal. She pushed the bag away and said with an attitude, "This is not for you." She gave the bag to another person. This has got to be the worst Wendy's ever. I ordered the #10 combo, which comes with 10 nuggets, fries & a drink. I asked to substitute a frosty for the drink. The cashier never told me that I could not substitute the frosty for a drink. She just charged me individually for everything. Then when I asked her why the total was more than what I should have been charged, she told me that I could not substitute the frosty for the drink! Why didn't she tell me that up front?! If I could give this location ZERO STARS I would! Stopped to grab lunch off the turnpike at 2pm. Ordered a chicken sandwich, drink and a #4 combo. PRICE WAS $32 ! Cashier walked away and I grabbed the receipt off the register since it wasn't given to me. They charged me $20 for a $10 combo and had a misc. line item for $6.58. I told the cashier they charged me too much money and he said " our prices are higher" ! I pointed out the $10 menu price on the board and he said thats the price for a " small" combo. It doesn't say that on the menu board and even if true how can a large combo be double the price? He couldn't give me an answer. Another employee came to help and she couldn't figure it out either. They called a "manager" and he couldn't figure it out and seemed irritated that he had to refund me some money. He struggled to do a simple refund and threw it back on the employees to figure out. 10 minutes later I got $10 refunded back to my credit card. They never addressed the $6.58 and at that point I just wanted to leave. Finally another "manager" came out and realized they had been over charging customers all day and all the prices were WRONG.
