Always better than most other fast food burgers. I think the fresh beef makes a difference. I come here as often as I can.

The last two times I have went to this windy's has not been a good experience. Last time a tall man working the window and was kind and he is when ever I do go for lunch 9:30ish pm. However, the young girl ran my food to me as I was asked to pull forward was horrific. She handed me my food, I said thank you, and is there ketchup? While walking away, and with a very rude tone said "in the bag". There was another employee holding the door open and he was as suprised as I was. I checked the back while he apologized for her rude behavior. He then asked if ketchup was in my bad. There was not. He apologized again and went and brought me some. I do understand that staff is very limited and I do spend my whole lunch waiting in line to order, but hospitality is lacking. 2 weeks later... tonight 10pm, the man on the speaker charged me for a medium #6 when I asked for a large. The sandwich had no lettuce and was slapped together. Due to the lack of care, all the mayo was more on the wrapper then my sandwich did. It was very dry. I also asked for extra extra pickle and it was not added. I'm becoming very disappointed. I guess I see why this one windys has 2 stars. Do better. So i ordered a simple $7 biggie mean. Coke (ez ice), double, fries, nuggets w/ honey mustard. The burger was the only thing I could eat. The coke was diet and no straw. No napkins, nuggets were mushy, no sauce, fries were over cooked. I threw it away. Icing on the cake: the board priced it at $7. We arrived about 5:30 pm on Sunday to grab a bite before an event at the Moda Center. There was a line up of cars in the drive through so we went inside. There were several Door Dash type people waiting for their orders and we were 3rd in line to place our order. The man behind the counter was the reason I am giving this Wendy's 5 stars. I think his name was Kelvin. He was AMAZING! Well, staff friendly and welcoming - but homeless outside pandering and staring at people, then coming inside and seating themselves uncomfortably behind us was unusual - don't want to get into whole debate here but companies need to do more to prevent these types of instances from happening. It's not a NIMBY issue but unfair to expect all non-homeless customers to be experts in dealing with homeless face to face and be experts in mental health issues or be experts in predicting whether or not their behavior will be a danger. The worst Wendy's I have ever visited. It has been out of stock of cups except for small size the last three times I have visited. Today I try to go in, am told not very politely that they are only accepting mobile and drive through orders. So I go back to my car, wait 3 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me, and then after I order a 10 piece nugget meal with a Coke, I am informed they are out of medium cups and large cups and ALSO out of Coke. If I could give less than one star I would. Tonight I decided I wanted wendys for the first time in awhile. I worked at Wendy's for 3 years and have been to plenty others in the past. I will never be returning to this wendys if not to get a refund tomorrow and talk to the manager. The night manager was extremely rude in the drive thru and practically yelled at me while rolling her eyes telling me I'd have to go inside for them to even start my order. It was two combos. Now at this point I'd already waited 20 minutes in the drive thru. I go inside and there's 7 orders in front of me. I wait 40 more minutes just to have two of my burgers messed up and a fry somehow?! I find all these fast food restaurants including this one that are open drive through only to be really stupidly lazy. If I can go to the store without a mask on then you can open your dining room. I also feed bad for delivery drivers cause they have to wait in huge lines in the drive through to get their food, yet when they go to McDonald's they can just call and have them bring it out to their car in the parking lot. There was a problem with the app ordering, so I pulled up to the drive-thru and asked a few questions. The guy at the other end of the speaker, the manager, was uniquely unhelpful. He explained that he didn't know anything about the app and wanted me to look for a help button. I told him there wasn't one. He said maybe I could call someone except it was 9:00 Pacific time. I offered to show him my phone to see if he could recreate the offer, but he said it didn't matter. I assured him I was not trying to do a scam just wanted what the app had promised, and explained that he could see the promotion and see that it wasn't working. He basically didn't care and said he was not empowered to do anything at all to help. I would understand more if it were some part-time kid, but as the manager he really should have a higher standard of customer service whether or not he was able to help. I like Wendy's food basically. When the burgers are hot and juicy, they are wonderful, I like the fries. I like the chili and I like the breakfast stuff. On the app they had buy one baconNader get one free. We both customized our orders, picked them up and they were completely wrong. So much so that I called complain and I was told that next time I was there to let them know and they would remake them for me. That was nice of them. Period so we are going to try it again like a week later and my friend was going to fix them up and I called to make sure that there wasn't going to be any problem. She assured me that everything would be fine. When he got there, the order was already ready, which was contrary to what we had decided. We are going to get the order to the manager when we got there to make sure it was correct. He assumed I had told them what to put on there so he picked it up and brings it over and sure enough everything is wrong again and I called him and I asked what's going on And she said well I was going on my break so the manager thought she knew what she wanted, so she went ahead and made them in advance. How stupid is it to make hamburgers in advance? Are they going to be hot when you get them? Are the buns going to be soggy when you get them? Does she know if I'm gonna stop off and go bowling first or buy gas? Dumb thing to do for a restaurant manager. So I called and complained again once again I'm told they will remake them. A few weeks later we picked them up, which is today. I ordered extra onions. There was one small ring of onion one. I ordered extra tomatoes. There was one sliver of tomato. I ordered extra lettuce. There was one piece of lettuce. I ordered mayonnaise there weren't any. I ordered pickles. There weren't any. The burgers were hot and juicy though. I don't know what the problem is, but, I don't know if I ever go back to this location. If I do, and it's incorrect, I will demand a refund. Why ask people what you want on a burger if you have no intention of putting it on? I fully believe now that what they are doing is trying to cut back on vegetables. There's no other logical explanation for the minute amount of lettuce, tomato and onion on there. This is a little sketchy for a Wendy's, still the location is convenient so I would expect there is enough traffic for it to be better. Yet instead this is what you get. It is usually almost empty, even at meal times, yet strangely it is never completely empty. The customers look to be very serious and usually tired. My burger arrived cool, not cold though the onion was fresh from the fridge. The staff does their job and is efficient, they don't even waist their smiles. They will do what you ask...grudgingly. The dining area seems cleanish and it is kind of empty feeling, no plants, decorating....kind of like a bus station feel... The bathroom smells funny, not to clean either. There are better restraints in the price range in the area, I suggest trying them. Note: I usually like Wendy's though I miss the chicken cesar wraps (yes I will probably put that in every Wendy's review I write...) I have been a customer of this establishment for at least two years prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. I am a pedestrian and live within three minutes of this establishment. Instead of paying a delivery fee and creating more pollution than necessary, I thought I would try to research if this store was available for someone to, somehow, pick up their order. Meanwhile, I ordered my Wendy's combo through Google and plugged in my debit card information. I couldn't find any indication of whether or not I could walk up, so I decided I'd see how far the ordering process let me get. It let me customize and order and Google took my debit card. When I got there, on foot, it said my food was still being prepared. While there were a lot of cars in the drive-thru, I thought I'd call to see if I could pick up the food I ordered. The line rang until an automation frombVerizon said the line had a voicemail box that wasn't set up correctly. I called again and ambled closer to the window to read a sign that they don't allow walk-ups. Since Google already placed my order and had my card information, I thought "I'm not a walk-up, am I? I paid. They're making my food." Someone finally answered and told me that it's store policy that walk-ups were not allowed. I asked "After I ordered my food on Google and paid? It said my food is still being prepared and I'm outside." (I was literally outside and you could hear the traffic on MLK.) She said they don't tender the orders from Google until the order is picked up, even though I had already done the process. I understand the severity of the pandemic and I've avoided all attempts to go get fast food since it began. I saw in the Willamette Weekly that they were able to walk up, at this location, at night, in July. My patronage was denied. I was masked up, keeping far from the building, and was willing to wait out of the way of the customers with cars. I know it's difficult, but not everyone has a car or people to help them out to take them three minutes down the road to get one. It doesn't make sense: you're still seeing me, masked up, and trying to get my food. I do not think that this was fair. I was outside of the establishment with an outstanding order. I know not everyone can be like me, but I'm very angry that no one even tried to ask me for my order number to verify if my food was even ready. read more

Extra long wait. Like, every time. It seems like they're always one person down, and the two people behind the counter are tripping over each other to get anything done. It seems to miss Management's attention that, from a customer standpoint, having a single extra person around to clean the dining room and refill the ketcup, take out the overflowing trash or simply refill someone's soda, is worth a bit of labor costs. It's insulting to the customers when these franchises assume we don't know exactly why it took more than 10 minutes to a get some chicken nuggets during a non-busy dinner period. So, let's begin this rant, we pull up to pickup a doordash and the person on the intercoms interjects before we can speak. "We are closed". We understood but are trying to see if they had completed the order before they closed. They question us "Can you hear me? We are closed" like we were idiots over and over.
