The food here is good and there were no mistakes made, BUT the drive thru line is extremely slow!!

The drive-up line was looooong so my teens went inside to order as it was not crowded at all inside. I sat in the car with the fog for a half hour. Kids didn't want me to come inside bc you know it's mom! After an hour of waiting in the car I went in (to my kids chagrin). I asked for the manager and some guy who I could not understand his English was obviously annoyed at ME !!!! I asked where our order was and that we had been waiting an hour!!!! This is not fast food! He was YELLING something at me that I couldn't understand. Another customer said he's been waiting a really long time as well. But the drive through was moving-slowly- but moving. There were plenty of staff but they stand around looking at the paper tickets on the counter. I wanted to walk out but we already paid and waited an hour! They somehow then quickly got our order and we left... only to find they shorted us 2 burgers!!!!! Never going back there. Btw the kids said something about after 30 minutes they noticed our order disappear from the lighted board. Apparently, even though you paid, the order gets taken off the "waiting" line and disappears!!!!! Horribly run place!!! Horrible! Never had a manager yell at me when I asked where my order was. I'm usually a fan or this restaurant. I grab salads here all the time. But I'm furious over how I was treated the other day. My mom and I decided to order baked potatoes. We got 3 sour cream packets. We both like extra so I asked for some. She said it's in the bag. I said yes, but could I have extra please. I'm always very polite because I know they have a difficult job dealing with people. She said no. I thought she misunderstood so I asked again and she yelled no it's in the bag. I know it's not a big thing but why was I refused? Very poor experience. The drive-up line was incredibly slow. When I got to the window there was one young guy standing there and sort of looking confused and during the four or five minutes I was waiting for my food at the window didn't appear to do anything. I had asked for a kids cheeseburger meal with no pickles just ketchup and for apple slices rather than french fries, and chocolate milk, and one order of baconator fries and one of pub fries. Instead I got two baconator fries, the cheeseburger had pickles on it, no apple slices, french fries instead in addition to the two full orders I got, and then when I went inside to get the apple slices for the little one I was in there 10 minutes being ignored by four different people who would talk to me for a minute then walk away in some other direction. The first person I talked to I didn't realize wasn't a customer facing person and he came over and I understand why he wasn't customer facing. He was incredibly rude, acted like I should be understanding instead of annoyed it would just leave. If I'd known he wasn't customer facing I wouldn't have talked with him and that would have been good for both of us. Have to giving me some grief he said look I don't work out front I'm just in the back. Finally I got mad enough one guy went back into the cooler and brought out the bag of apple slices and loaded a cup for me. Clearly they had to be aware there were no apple slices or chocolate milk when I ordered and didn't tell me. They just decided to give me two baconator fries. By the time I got out of there the drive-thru line was wrapped entirely around the building right up to the street. Worst fast food restaurant experience I've ever had and that's saying something. read more

I was cruising through Quincy and saw this place right across the street after shopping at Stop&Shop. Ironically, this specific Wendy's is open until 4am! Thought it would be the perfect stop for a late night fast-foody pick up. Turned out to be not so rad. While the location is convenient, and a drive thru is available, messing up orders in multiple ways is not okay. I read so many reviews on how other people's orders have gotten messed up at fast food joints, and it barely ever happens to me. Especially being that my orders aren't ever ginormous or customized. But the Southern Artery Wendy's managed to find a way to give me a medium vanilla Frosty instead of a small chocolate Frosty, and some cup of soup, that I clearly didn't order at the speaker, and wasn't on my receipt. I ended up throwing it away. Wendy's just wasted that. The woman at the pick up window tried to be helpful, but because of her lack of speaking English, she really couldn't be a help. I've visited a lot of Wendy's locations and while this one has a cool renovation and convenient and quick drive thru, the messing up of orders needs to be fixed. At least they didn't mess up the burger and fries in my order. Unless the other Wendy's location in Quincy is worse, there is barely any reason to visit this location. They have a good amount of work to do, and I anticipate to let corporate know about that on the survey on the back of my receipt. Wendy's is my favorite fast food and while this trip wasn't the best, at least there is a Wendy's here..... where I live all we have is McDonald's and BK. Wendy's is much superior to the others. Wendy's is my favorite fast-food chain, and I like this location. This is also where I go when I feel a late-night food craving. I like them, they get food out pretty quickly, I've never had an order screw-up, and they taste like every other Wendy's. I only ever get chicken nuggets, the spicy chicken sandwich, and french fries. I frequently use the drive-thru and have never had a problem, but during peak dinner hours (typically 6-8 PM at this one) you can expect a long line either driving or going into the dining room. read more

Placed a mobile order for dine in. When I arrived at the restaurant the doors were locked and there was a sign on the door saying the dining room and drive thru were closed for 30 minutes. The staff was inside at a table eating and ignored the customers asking to be let in. I waited for 30 minutes for them to unlock the doors and then left. I hope someone enjoyed my order. I learned two things today. First don't use the mobile app to place an order and then lose your money and not get your food. Second don't come back to a location that has long set the standard for poor service and a dirty dining room. I won't be back. read more

i used to come to this shit hole only after late work hours or late night munchies because i had no choice, first it's 2 minutes away from my house, second, it's the only place open after 3 AM. The food (burgers-fries) is always prepared ahead and NOT fresh at all. So forget about customizing your burgers, it will come as it is. I always ask for no bacon and it's always there, i have to fucking throw the whole thing out, after giving them so many chances i had enough. One more thing, i accidently gave the chinese lady an expired card at the drive thru window and she yelled (oooh yo have no mohh moneyyyyy) after i realized it was the wrong one i gave her my main debit card, and she gave me an attitude saying that i need to get my payment ready ahead so i won't disrupt the line (knowing i was the only person in line ,monday night). I don't know, maybe i disrupted her favorite chinese soap opera that she was watching on her phone or something. read more

This place is terrible. Every single time I eat here, I immediately want to roll over and die. I can't even eat a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger from this place without my guts falling apart. The service sucks, the burgers are about 2/3rds the size they should be, and the fries are served over a bed of table salt and ice. The only reason I ever go to this location is because I work around the corner. From the awkward drive-thru situation, to that ridiculous steel cage fighting arena that looms ominously in the lot, absolutely nothing about this establishment makes sense to me. I feel like moving to Olympia, Washington, just to put some distance between me and this godforsaken house of broken dreams. The best compliment I can give this place is that it's the second best Wendy's in Quincy. And even that's a stretch. I'd almost rather eat McDonald's. read more

The Quincy Wendy's is notoriously slow, even when the lines are short. It honestly is the slowest fast food location I've ever been to with 20-30 minutes being a normal wait time. It is tempting to stop in because of it's convenient location, but I usually regret it. Steer clear if possible. read more

I love Wendy's...I mean, who doesn't?!? But the pace at this store is comparable to watching cold molasses weave down an ice luge. I've tried to give this store plenty of chances, but the management needs to crack the whip. I've worked in fast food before, and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. My only real complaint is that this store could do much more business for themselves if they stepped it up. Worst quickserve I have ever been to. The day time manager is rude and immediately looks to argue. My mobile order was not received despite having an email confirmation and having clicked the "arrived button". When I arrived at the drivethrough the cashier said there was no record. They proceeded to pull out of the line. I was less frustrated about the error & more about the rude nature of the on shift manager. She informed me that the app is not associated with Wendys and offered no resolution but to call the app! After waiting on hold for 25 minutes, ironically listening to their message about looking to delight every customer, I finally gave up. Will drive to Hanover from now on and go to Chic Fil-A. I'm going to start this off by saying I like Wendy's. Unfortunately, I will not be going back unless I'm desperately hungry. I don't understand why it takes a half an hour to get to the ordering window and another 10 to get to pickup window. The menu should be placed differently in the drive thru line so all the people waiting can read it and be ready to place the order when asked. I also believe that more staff is required. Don't use there order kiosks!! I placed my order via their kiosk because I've been impressed with how quickly the orders have been filled at other fast food restaurants. After waiting ten minutes the manager said I never ordered. I had to show him the debit via my Bank of America app exposing other sensitive information to prove to him I had been changed, meanwhile showing me nothing but contempt and attitude. read more

This is definitely the worst Wendy's. I've gone a few times recently & never received a correct order. Cashier has an attitude & is rewarded for it by the Manager, whose attitude is worse. The worst service I've ever had, was In Line for nearly half an hour. Ordered 2 biggie bags 1 w a chicken sandwich nothing on it and one w a burger, then a small frosty. They gave us 2 chicken sandwiches w stuff on it. The fries were legit still frozen, wish I was kidding. They refused to give us a frosty cuz we "didn't pay for it" and also wouldn't give us a receipt to check. The woman was screaming at us saying that we were stupid Americans. I go to this location often and it does get busy on weekend nights. They only have one drive-thru intercom, but they try their best to get through the line as quick as they can, it seems. The food is usually fresh and hot. The chicken sandwiches and burgers are cooked properly and hot, while the fries can be hit or miss. Usually they are hot and fresh though, but sometimes they taste like they've been sitting for while. For a while, the fries were hot and fresh every time, but not as much now. The lady behind the speaker kept saying please wait a minute that ended up being about 8 minutes after that I left. The woman at the drive thru gave me a frosty for my drink when I told her I ordered a cherry vanilla coke she argued with me and kept telling me I didn't charge you for this. My fav of the big three, I will always pick this joint over the other McFactory and Burger Mess. This one has decent food, although sometimes they will pawn cold fries off on you so you have to bitch to get fresh ones. Also, this location always smells bad...no matter when you go. I stop here occasionally, never had horrible service until tonight. They appeared to be short handed. The counter staff and grill people were yelling at each other from across the room. Counter person would only take one order, waited until the order was completely prepared and presented to customer before taking another order. I had to repeat my order three times.
