Love this place .. Brazilian food is amazing and cooked to order .. and they don't have them in the menu but the coxinha are delicious

The food is so consistently good and prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommend Hungry Tummy to anyone.

Wow! I don't normally review a place after just one visit but the delivery was fantastic! The mozzarella sticks were wonderful! Still hot and crispy, not soggy like so many other places. My husband got the steak and cheese sub - said it's great. I got a chicken caesar wrap and it was delicious. I'll definitely order delivery again and the menu is large so it may be a different entree. I just realized no photos to add because I didn't stop eating to take them!

Genuinely the BEST açaí I've ever had. I love açaí and I've tried many places, the açaí here is smooth and sweet. Will definitely be back for more!

The Brazilian plate that I had here wasn't too bad. I haven't eaten tons of Brazilian food in the past but I could go for more of this. I ordered their special so I don't believe they typically serve the plate I had. It came with yellow rice, beans, steak tips, shrimp, and chicken. The steak tips were a bit too tough but I enjoyed everything else, especially the chicken. This place also does pizza, burgers, gyros, and sandwiches. It's a gambit of things but I'd recommend getting one of their Brazilian rice plates if you're going to come.

I love this place! They have a variety of menu options from pizza to Brazilian plates to wraps. We ordered the chicken souvlaki plate and the tilapia Prato fieto. The first thing we noticed was the large portions!! The second was the variety of things they give you in the plates. The tilapia dish came with fries, rice, beans, and vegetables. There were also three pieces of tilapia. Everything tasted so good!! I couldn't stop eating even after I was full. The chicken souvlaki was also delicious and came in a pita wrap with vegetables, Greek salad, and French fries. They are also very efficient. Out food was ready in about 15-29 minutes. I will definitely be coming back and am excited to try other menu items!!

From the outside, the restaurant looks plain and unassuming, but once inside, it's modern, comfortable, and inviting. We had made reservations, but when we arrived, the place wasn't too crowded. The staff greeted us warmly and explained that we could either do the full rodizio or choose specific meats and pay by the pound. Naturally, we went for the full rodizio experience. The salad bar was a pleasant surprise. Unlike other Brazilian steakhouses that focus mainly on cold cuts, cheeses, and salads, Spettus had a smaller selection of cold items but an impressive variety of hot dishes such as pastas, meatballs, rice, and chicken parm. Everything was flavorful and fresh, and honestly, I could've been perfectly happy just eating from the salad bar alone. We also noticed that a good number of customers were doing takeout, which might explain the larger selection of hot foods. Then came the main event, the meats. Since it was a slower evening and we were the only table doing the full rodizio, we basically had personalized service. The gentleman serving the meats was friendly, attentive, and clearly took pride in what he was serving. He offered great recommendations, took our requests, and playfully encouraged us to take "just one more slice" each time he came around. Every cut we tried was excellent, but the garlic steak really stood out for its flavor. The sausage was fantastic, and the absolute stars of the night were the picanha and the grilled pineapple. I could eat those two forever and be completely content. Overall, Spettus Steak House delivered a top-notch experience that easily rivals some of the larger chain Brazilian steakhouses. If I find myself back in the Boston area, I'll definitely be returning.

They have the option of all you can eat and they come around and offer all different meats cooked and cut fresh. We dined here a couple more times and loved it so much we had a friends anniversary dinner there a couple years later. Drinks were great and food was also good. It felt intimate and unique. We recently went again after a couple years and they expanded the restaurant, with a lot more seats. Unfortunately, they no longer offer alcohol (or at least not at the moment). This time we both just order a meal and not the all you can eat, and the food was... ok. I'm hoping it was just a one off and that they bounce back to the amazingness from before (really, we would rave about this place to people!) One plus is they have a buffet you can make a to go plate and pick your meat. While it is pricey per pound, it's better than other take out places. The sides change everyday, so it's always a surprise of what they will have. All that to say, we are up in the air about this place.. we are currently not recommending you run there, but we hope they get back to what we loved before, and then it would be worth a try.

My fourth Dine Out Boston 2026 Winter visit: Alma Gaucha, the Brazilian rodizio, with colleagues…read more The meat was delicious, the salad station was plentiful, and we ate until we were stuffed... Meat Serving: My favorites were all kinds of beef! The Premium of Top Sirloin and Top Sirloin with Garlic were extremely juicy and tender, as you can see. I recommended medium rare, and don't cook it more than medium. Tri-Tip Steak and Tri-Tip Steak with Cheese were relatively coarse, but had a layer of fat that made them more flavorful. I recommended medium; medium-well would be too dry. Lamb Steak was juicy and flavorful, with no gamey taste, so eat with confidence. Chicken Wrapped with Bacon and Chicken Legs were garlic-flavored, but the meat was a bit tough. Cheese with Honey was a calorie bomb but really delicious; the cheese had a slightly gamey taste, and the more honey, the better. Most importantly, the grilled meats here are just the right amount of salty; only the Chicken Heart and Pork Sausage were very salty. There were various sauces to choose from, but I personally recommend the oily and slightly sour Chimichurri, or simply salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Salad Station: Foods were plentiful and all very fresh and of good quality. My favorite was the Apple Salad, which was like the old-fashioned "fruit and salad dressing" version from my childhood--it was nostalgic and had a wonderfully refreshing sweet and sour taste. The Smoked Trout was tender and had a wonderfully flavorful fat, but considering it from freshwater , I only had a small taste. The Clam Chowder had a rich creaminess that perfectly complemented the umami of the clams. The Bruschetta, with its creamy sweetness from roasted garlic paired with the crispy bread, was a delightful little treat. Side Dishes: My personal favorite was the Mashed Potatoes, fried potato balls with a crispy, airy exterior and a creamy filling. The Yucca Croquette was like a tapioca version of Pão de Queijo, with the same crispy crust and mochi-like texture, but a milder cheese flavor. The Caramelized Bananas were too soft and mushy; cooked bananas always have a rotten taste. The Crispy Polenta was very hard, mainly cornstarch, and had little flavor. Desserts: The waiter's recommendation, the Red Velvet Cake, was definitely on point. It was less sweet and had a gentler sweetness, more suitable for Chinese tastes. If you like it sweeter, get more of the part with white chocolate sauce. The Mango Cake had a very smooth mousse and a rich mango flavor. The Keylime Pie was too sweet and sour, too strong a flavor.

The manager checked on us several times to make sure everything was okay. I found it a little excessive, my coworkers loved the attention. It was quiet and empty, maybe because we visited during lunch. I'd love to come back on a Sunday to experience it. My biggest disappointment was the restaurant's did not allow me to take home leftover food. I had a piece of salmon and some pineapple left on my plate and was told I couldn't take it home. That was beyond frustrating. They remove the charge from my bill, I would have liked to keep the food rather than receive the discount. It felt wasteful to throw away perfectly good food, especially when food waste is such a serious issue. It was literally half a piece of salmon. I don't understand the logic of losing money on the meal and throwing food that could have been enjoyed later. That left a negative impression on an otherwise excellent dining experience. Overall, the food and service were outstanding, but the no-takeout policy for leftovers is something I hope they reconsider this crazy thoughts

Alas, this was one of the most pitiful meals I've had in a while. When I, with the capacity to eat like a wood chipper don't finish, you know you mucked up. I had a combo of a single meat and two sides. I had the brisket for protein, and Fried Yucca and Pico for sides. These plates also come with rice. The brisket was overdone to the point where it was almost like eating pieces of rubber. It was possible to chew through this abomination, but I got no pleasure in doing so. The fatty parts that ordinarily make brisket so delectable were barely-there-accents, and the seasoning was too light to make any substantial impact. This is to say nothing of the meat being very dry. Barbeque sauce would have been nice Where it comes to the sides, these were similarly bland. The fried yucca was completely uninspired and unseasoned. Thankfully the salt and pepper helped breathe some life into it. As for the Pico, it was good in that it was refreshing, but could also use some seasoning and maybe just a little oil. The two items that day that were notable (in a good way) were the rice and passionfruit fountain beverage. The rice was cooked and seasoned nicely, and the beverage was tasty and not overly sweet. Alas, these were not enough to offer redemption to an otherwise lamentable experience. The final nail in the coffin was the prices. Two sides with one meat is $11.75. If the brisket was melt-in-your-mouth goodness and sides weren't a small amount of bland-something, I might be a little more forgiving. However, considering the overall quality (and quantity of side), to say $11.75 is excessive could be an understatement.

There are options for AYCE as well as by weight, and if you do by weight you have to weigh everything you get at the side buffet and only get meat from the counter, so we opted for AYCE because that seemed cumbersome. The service here was friendly and attentive and as long as your token is green, the meat literally comes nonstop! I really liked their sides and salads, especially the plantains and fresh fruits. The meats were perfectly done and though they didn't really ask, all my pieces were medium/medium rare which is how I like it. The cut that was infused with garlic was really good, as were the sirloin and the chicken hearts and spicy pork sausages. Some pieces were very salty, but I'm pretty sensitive to salt. The grilled pineapple was luscious. If we didn't already have cake waiting for us at home, I would have definitely indulged in some tres leches or lime cake. They ended the meal with cooked cheese dipped in honey or guava sauce which was interesting. The fresh fruit at the salad bar was really refreshing. I probably wouldn't come back because it's just way too much meat/food for me and not my usual favorite (also rather pricey for dinner/weekends). However, my family had a great meal here and I think it's definitely a step up from fogo de chao in terms of quality and service. A hidden gem from my perspective. It's nothing fancy, sometimes a little hard to communicate with the cashier but they are great people and have great food. The Food~ The spicy sausage is juicy and rich with a bit of a kick. The garlic and regular Picanha meat are also soft and tender. The crusty skin with the garlic and salt bits mends well with the meat. Paired together with the jasmine butter rice neutralizes the saltiness and pulls you back for more. The oxtail and soup is also very good. The warm soup with the tender oxtail paired again with the rice is the perfect combo. There wasn't a lot of vegetable options but I'm not complaining :) The Logistics~ There is plenty of parking on the street and also a public parking lot near Blanchard. A party of 4 is considered large for this place and you'll end up taking all the seats. Don't like sticking around too long and the seating area is pretty limited and not the best for private conversations.
