The burgers here were actually better than I had expected, and of course the fries were delicious and plentiful. My group hit a few speed bumps placing our orders. The lady taking our orders made a mistake with the first of our orders, which had to be corrected by a supervisor, and then she was exceptionally careful taking the rest of our orders. But the food came out reasonably quickly. Several of the tables needed to be bussed. The rest rooms were clean. This restaurant was a popular destination for many of the large group of us staying at the nearby Hyatt for a wedding that weekend. I think Five Guys is one of the best burger joints around. Their food is made fresh and tasty af. Big portions. The burger is pretty big so I usually get the small which is enough for me. The fries are great and they give you a good amount. I like their list of condiments that can be added to your burger. No other place does this that I'm aware of. This was my first visit to five guys and I really enjoyed it! The burger was cooked exactly the way I wanted it and I added lettuce, onion and pickles (with cheese of course). The fries blew me away, they were SO delicious and perfectly cooked. I grabbed a Coke and I'm so glad they have fountain soda instead of bottles only. I then asked if they give first responders a discount, because they really deserve it, he once again said his Franchise owner doesnot allow it and said NO again. So hard to believe in these days of covid 19 that a local business does not give out a discount to these two groups. I had the pleasure to eat at this Five Guys over the weekend and the manager and team were working well together. They were like a fine tuned clock. "3in" whatever that means had the team snapping to attention to take care of customers. Every team member said "welcome to five guys" and asked how they could help me. Just left this location and was refused entrance. Apparently the manager decided to not accept "walk ins" and only accept online transactions and DoorDash even though there were currently patrons dining there. There was an employee blocking the door and keeping it locked. I politely asked what the reasoning was and the best he could give me was "idk, it's just what the manager decided". I drove here to only purchase a gift card for a friend and he said I couldn't do that. I then asked if I could purchase it online and have the employee hand it to me and he said we can't do those transactions. Come on, it's a fast food restaurant, not a michelin star restaurant.....I shouldn't have to call ahead to make reservations. I don't think I've ever left a 1 star review before but this is really unacceptable. If there was a good reason as to why I couldn't simply step inside the store then I'd be happy to oblige. Burgers are cooked well, service is extremely fast and efficient, my order is always made correctly, and overall this location has all the standard Five Guys quality and branding. This particular location has a lot of seating and can get crowded at lunch (from local businesses) and on the weekends (people like to come here before or after seeing movies at the nearby AMC theater). That said, I've never had to wait long either in line or after ordering. The food itself is pretty standard fast food burgers and fries, although freshly made and with an emphasis on quality ingredients. A little greasy, but the portions are good. read more

Ever since they put a Five Guys within walking distance of my house, I decided that I don't give a @#$% about my physical appearance. All I care about is cheeseburgers, cheeseburgers, cheeseburgers. Oh...and cajun fries. As far as fast food goes, Five Guys is the premier chain in the New England area, not to be reckoned with by any of it's competitors. Whether it be Johnny Rockets, Tasty Burger, B Good, or even some of the more lowbrow establishments, such as McDonald's, Wendy's or Burger King, there is no debate. Five Guys is where it's at. If you want a good, old fashioned cheeseburger and french fries that you can base your judgment upon all other fries on, this is the place. Anybody that complains about the prices here is just being cheap. You spend about $3.00 more per person, but, in this case, you get what you pay for. The value is undeniable. DON'T deny it. A flat patty topped with grilled mushrooms, lettuce, and mayo, on a soft bun dipped in ketchup. That's all I need! And the fries are great dipped in malt vinegar. Yummm. The online system was a mess, deleted our order, twice, and took us 45 min to finally get it to work. I feel this company always has good ingredients with the difference between each location really falling independent in a categories: how heavily the top your burger, how quick they are, how clean the restaurant is, overall feel of staff and location. -Here the burgers came relatively properly topped, meaning the sauce components and solids were in a good proportion so the burger held together well but you still got the tang of the sauces and the crunch of the solids. -This location isn't the fastest by any means but it was Sunday early afternoon and I may have been recovering from the night before so that could be up for interpretation. -The restaurant seemed clean, a few typical sticky locations on the floor where people tend to want to spill soda always. The table was clean-ish but I wiped it down and had some grease come with it. -The staff seemed quite friendly, the cashier was very patient and helpful. No cleaner present on the floor which kind of detracted from the above note. It's a fast food joint, people. It astounds me how many people complain about the staff. I personally have never had an extensive interaction with any staff member and have found their demeanor to be status quo. My husband indicated that on one pick up he was sort of "ignored" but admitted that he was unsure he was in the correct line. I guess I don't expect white glove service in establishments that thrive on efficiency - fortunately quality had never been a huge concern here. We end up at Five Guys usually when we are out and about and get the hungrys. Their mobile app is easy to order and pay from and our food is always waiting (if you can flag someone down to get it for you.) My husband digs the unlimited burger toppings, I'm a purest myself and like a simple cheeseburger. Never has processed cheese tasted so good than on a Five Guys burger. The fries are good though if we don't head straight home, they require a few minutes in the oven to recrisp. A large order usually yields us 4-5 servings. We don't eat in so I cannot speak to cleanliness. If I drank soda, I'd sit there all day and try all the wild flavor combos on the soft drink machine (strawberry Sprite?!) I get the mini order of fries as it is just enough for one sitting. I had ordered the medium before and it was way too much. There are boxes of peanuts in the shell for one to munch on while waiting for one's food (the wait wasn't too long and was the same as if one went to McDonald's). This location is in a strip mall and so usually there is plenty of parking. There is usually enough seating. I've been here during prime weekend dinner hours once, and had to actually eat outside in the cold (it was winter). I went to the Randolph location last week and I liked it so I decided to try out this one. The food was just as good but I didn't like the parking situation there. This place is situated in a strip mall with other eateries and shops so the parking was very tight in fact I was lucky to even get a space. If I plan eating at a Five Guys again during lunch hour I will probably just drive the extra ten minutes to Randolph and not have to deal with the hassle of parking here. This was a busy location and I did enjoy my food. They have bins of complimentary peanuts for you to enjoy while you wait for your meal. Their fries are made from scratch from fresh potatoes and they are delicious. No desserts here other than frappes so I went to the Ben & Jerry's a few doors down to get something there (separate review on that). The place was very clean despite how busy they were so I was very impressed with that. read more
