This place has gotten worse of the last few years. It was the first Wendy's location that I've been to in a long time. Due to the same reason, just lack of work ethic. My food was luke warm, at 11am. No salt on fries. No cheese to the Dave single when I specifically asked for cheese and they repeated it. If you don't want to work at a fast food restaurant then go some where else. This Wendy's consistently sucks. The staff are incompetent, lazy, screw up orders and refuse to give eye contact or even speak to the customer short of taking your order. I don't often leave reviews because I'd rather let it go. But I didn't get my food or a refund from this store. I ordered online at my local Wendy's at 12:05pm on 8/31. I pulled up in the pickup/carry out space, but no one brought the food out to me. I called their number and no one answered. And the door was locked so I couldn't go in to pick up the food. The drive through line was extremely long, the entire time I was there, and I could not wait in line. I went back to the app and pressed the 888# to call but it said something like 'the number wasn't available.' I was frustrated and left. I went online later and sent a message to customer service. I didn't hear from them for 3 days. They didn't give me a refund but told me the district manager would contact me. The district manager said they could not refund me online or over the phone and that I needed to come to the store. I asked if anyone there would know what I was talking about, so I didn't have to explain everything, and if they would have the door unlocked so that I could get in, but he didn't answer me. I also suggested that someone who is familiar with this could let me know when they weren't busy and I would come over then. He still hasn't responded. I know there is covid and they are short-staffed, which I why I'd rather not go back there. This has been pretty inconvenient overall. read more

I really hate writing bad reviews and reviewing fast food chains, but I feel like this Wendy's was SO bad that people need to be warned to avoid this location. First off, the blonde girl working the drive thru window was preparing drinks/taking orders/touching everything with her mask literally falling off her face/under her nose... rendering the mask completely useless. As she talked to us through the window, she also leaned far out and was pulling the mask down and kept touching it. GROSS! (No offense, but there is a pandemic!) That part bothered me the most about the visit. The fact that she dropped our tray of drinks on the ground/car wasn't even as bad... Fries were disgustingly cold and hard. So were the nuggets. The burgers were decent but honestly I didn't eat too much because I was so turned off by our experience at the window. I'm not surprised why there was no line or no one at this location. Always super convenient. Whenever I am craving fries, I always go to Wendy's. Just feels like you get more potato than you do at other places This Wendy's has always been a trusty fast one, especially when work would cut into lunch. The staff were nice and the man at the cashier was helpful. You could say a coworker and I came at the perfect time because we not only came when no one was waiting in line and they had a deal going on to advertise their new grilled sandwich for 5 bucks. I don't think they have the deal going on anymore but he sandwich itself was sort of sad because I think they might have forgotten the tomatoes. So instead it was just a grilled chicken sandwich with sauce and the buns. The tables were relatively clean and remains relatively empty at least the times I go. Horrible service. The guy inside locked the doors so that they wouldn't get any customers during their operation hours which at my time is 6:30pm. I only order chicken nuggets and fries, the fries were cold and looked like they were sitting in oil. The. My friends meal was the same way. We sent them back and told him to give us new fries. What's fun is the staff was blaming the tall guy right away when we asked why was the doors locked while customers where eating inside. I over heard him saying he was stopping people from coming in because the drive through was busy. That's no excuse! You still keep your doors open if the sign says your open. Also you don't serve cold stale food to paying customers. I wouldn't recommend this Wendy's to anyone. Just keep driving till the next one. After three different visits in the past 2 weeks here we are. Each time we've visited this location we are left at the order spot for 5-7 minutes without being greeted or asked to hold while they assist other customers, when we pull up no one says Anything. I've actually had to say "can I place an order" and then the customer service person would be like "hold on a second" or "I'll let you know when you can order" & then they leave us there waiting for 5 more minutes. If there are cars in front of me, I can accept that they're busy BUT there were no cars in front of me. They weren't busy on the inside either because the inside section is closed. I've worked fast food before and it's just extremely unprofessional to handle guest the way Wendy's does. All that waiting you'd think the food would be superb but it's always just basic - my daughter likes the nuggets and that's the only reason I even wasted my time going. Wendy's would definitely benefit from doing some customer service training courses , employ individuals who actually wanna work OR shut down. read more

So there are two Wendy's restaurants in more or less an equal distance to my house. This Wendy's on Six Forks Rd. and the other one on Creedmoor Rd. Well this one, to me, is much better. And I come here about 2-3 times a week. There are two employees in particular, I believe both named Tim as well, that do a great job there and have great attitudes...also one of the guys in the drive-thru too, but I don't remember his name. But he always comments on my car (I drive a Subaru WRX) every time I come through when he's working. They smile more here than the other location too. The food is also better here usually. The burgers always seem fresh and hot and they do a good job on their fries. I cannot stress enough how much it pisses me off when a fast food restaurant makes too many fries and then they serve their customers the leftover fries that have been sitting under a heat lamp. I want mine out of the fryer. Every time. Throw the salt on and drop 'em in the box. Serve immediately. I am willing to wait for this and will come inside always to make sure, but they're always serving me hot fries and I don't usually have to ask! Good job. They keep the restaurant pretty clean too. I haven't used the bathroom there though. All in all, they do a good job here. Keep reminding employees about their attitudes though...good ones like the Tims are infectious and should be shared by all the other employees. This Wendy's is horrible. I ordered chicken nuggets and fries and the nuggets tasted like pure OIL. I'm assuming it's because they are not changing their grease enough because that is usually the case when food tastes like oil. The manager that worked that night (AA female with dread locs) cursed me out because my burger was made wrong, refunded me my money and blatantly refused me a receipt when I asked several times. The quality of food at this location is always hit or miss. I only stop here if I'm starving and because it's convenient to my house. The fries are rarely ever freshly cooked. If I'm not ordering a specialty burger, then anything else taste like it's been sitting there for hours. The 4 for 4 is convenient but don't expect the items to be fresh. Just because you're spending $4 does not mean you deserve food that is less than par. The dining room staff are usually pleasant but the drive through cashiers usually have zero personality. This location has very good salads. The drive through is usually very efficient and friendly. Tonight's visit through the drive through was disappointing. My order was for two Apple pecan salads and a 4 piece nugget. When I got home there were no salad dressings, napkins or plastic ware. I was not happy. The manager had me to return and gave me a bag which contained salad dressings but no pecan spread. read more
