    Burgers with Fries and Chips

MoJoe's is a classic Raleigh burger spot and an easy staple, especially for NC State students and grads. The burgers are consistently good and juicy, exactly what you want from a no-frills burger joint. One thing that deserves a shoutout is the ranch. It's some of the best in Raleigh and definitely worth adding to your order. It elevates everything from chips (house made chips) to burgers and stands out in a big way. The main downside for me was the service. During our visit, staff didn't really circulate to check on tables. I ended up sitting with an empty water for most of the meal and had to track someone down for anything extra, which took away from the experience. Still, the burgers carry this place. A reliable, laid-back burger spot with strong local appeal.

Great service and food. Fresh quality ingredients. Onion rings are awesome. A little pricey but worth it

Surprisingly easy parking, quick seating and service, and gorgeous comfort food. We enjoyed the downtown vibe with NC State fans and Valentine's couples. Two types of vegetarian options, the veggie patty or black bean burger, are on offer which we appreciated. The burgers and homemade chips with MoJoe's Sauce (Cajun ranch) were delicious. Can't believe this was our first visit after so many years in Raleigh. We've been missing out!

The fam was in the mood for some good, no-frills burgers and fries, so we ventured into downtown Raleigh to check out MoJoe's. This divey little burger joint offers both indoor and outdoor seating, along with a small parking lot and street parking where available. We went straight for the good stuff and ordered the Carnivore that has cheddar cheese, bacon, and chili, along with the Inferno which comes with pepper jack cheese, Cajun spice, grilled jalapeños, and grilled onions. You can also build your own burger anyway you like. From this burger-loving family, MoJoe's definitely passes the burger test. They were exactly what we were hoping for, and I must say the onion rings and fries were stars of their own show. I love a good onion ring, and these guys do theirs right. They stay busy, and it looked like both the staff and kitchen were getting a little overloaded, so food took a bit longer than expected to come out. Honestly though, that doesn't gripe me too much. The quality, portions, and price make the extra wait worth it. Another stamp of approval in Raleigh goes to MoJoe's. We'd happily stop back the next time we're in town.

MoJoe's, I can't wait to come back to you! Think of dive bar meets your favorite local food spot. It's not huge on the inside, but the food is the star and we easily found a seat for 2 on a Friday night! Service is simple, kind, and to the point which I can appreciate as well. We did have to park in a lot nearby with a very short walk, but seems street parking and lots are the main options. Now on to what you're here for: the food! Drinks were pretty good for that dive bar feel. Simple options but also really fun and creative cocktails which I love. We enjoyed two holiday special cocktails: 1. Pomegranate Ranch Water 7/10: very simple, def could have had a bit more of a pomegranate flavor to make it a 10 for me. 2. The Cheermeister's Sour 9/10: my favorite of the two! Great sour taste which complemented the whiskey perfectly in case you aren't a huge whiskey lover. Food: * BYOB - Beef: 10/10: no notes. Delicious and the buns were so soft but not very sweet which I loved! A solid burger all around and very juicy & seasoned throughout * MoJoe's Famous Wings: 8/10: flavor was amazing, great ranch (iykyk), and super hot coming out! My only reason for docking points was because of the wing size. I do like them a little smaller, but still delicious! * Fried Pickles - 9/10: crispy, hot, and not overly seasoned breading wise which worked for the fried pickles which can lead a bit salty if the breading is overly seasoned Can't wait to visit Raleigh again and stop for a burger for sure. :)

First time trying MoJoes, downtown Raleigh!. The waitress asked, "how long have you lived here"? All of the 24 years it has been open, was my response. I had a 6oz bacon burger with fries. My husband ordered the southwestern chix sandwich with grilled peppers and avocado. His side was home made onion rings which he loved. I had 1/2 order of krinkle fries. Everything was fantastic and I cant wait to go back & bring other first timers! Our server, Kailey was delightful and attentive.

I have wanted to try MoJoe's for over two years. So glad I did. Since it was the first time for me and my lunch buddy, we both built our own hamburgers. I had ketchup, onions, and pickles topping my beef burger. It was delicious. My lunch partner had a similar hamburger. We had fried okra (on specials menu) and onion rings. Both were great sides. The service was great. Teamwork and creating a great dining experience seems to be everyone working in the restaurant goal. The restaurant itself has outdoor, covered porch and inside dining room tables. It felt to me that I was at a restaurant at the beach.

Yes this is a known burger joint, but their wings are phenomenal! Our favorite place to get wings when in the Raleigh area. They are consistently good! Crispy and saucy! The service is excellent and they are always playing fun music!

Found this after I looked up the best burgers in Raleigh. Tried the Ranchero and onion rings with the house sauce and boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy it did not disappoint. Picture is of what I had leftover.

We had a great pre-concert burger fest at MoJoe's on Glenwood a couple of weeks ago. The service was quick, the food was great and the staff nice. The day we went it was hot out but we were able to sit inside in the AC which was great. They were busy but again the quality and service were top notch!

Fantastic burgers. Flavorful and of sufficient size. Sides are also great. Waitstaff is attentive and prompt. I've only visited once but I'm certain that I'll soon become a regular.

This is a happening place. Lots of seating choices both indoors and either covered patio or umbrella. We opted for the indoor bar. Didn't have the beer, but based on reviews, I had to try the Veggie Burger which was excellent. Sticking with veggies, I also ordered the O-rings to share (my justification) which were also decent. The menu gives you a choice of either build a burger or go with their suggested combos. I chose the complements which came with my burger which was not extra. It can add up if you have specific condiments you must have. Your custom order is served hot and fresh, hence the slight wait. The service here is attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back for more!

I had a taste for onion rings and I'd read that MoJoe's has some of the best in town. I ordered online (fairly easy); Mozzarella sticks, the Smokehouse Cheddar (Big Mo), a side of onion rings and two kids meals (Chicken Tenders & tots) with a side of MoJoe's sauce. They had curbside service, so I took advantage, but still had to step inside because my onion rings weren't in the bag. Not a problem, as the manager came back with them pretty quickly. I'd definitely give it another try, but this time, eating in. I felt like everything tasted more saltier than I liked, but I honestly would give it another try.

Service could be better, but it's not bad. Decor and the bar were very cool and well designed parts of the restaurant. We ordered the Alabama Slammer and Classic Cheeseburger with truffle fries. If you order the truffle fries, make sure to grab a fork or extra napkins (or both)! Eating them gets real messy. Overall, a nice, casual burger spot in Raleigh with great fries.

Very similar with maybe a few extras, you order up front, get a number, self-service soft drinks and condiments in the back and wait for you eats. Pick up your meal at the counter and it's time to eat! I did their popular truffle burger with fries Italiano and OMG! The burger was amazingly tender, rich and delicious. Tender grilled beef, smoky Gouda cheese, caramelized onions and truffle flavoring throughout. The skin-on fries with shaved parm, rosemary and garlic made for the perfect side. While the bar is not open yet, it looks like CowBar North Hills will have some beers and drinks to go with your burger. Overall I am super happy with what I experienced at CowBar. While the food is a touch pricey, it's totally worth the money and a better option to dine here, versus a crowded, noisy spot. Enjoy, Raleigh.
