I wanted a new burger spot to try but ended up getting their Buffalo chicken sandwich. Even though I went through the drive thru, the sandwich felt like it was made to order in light speed. They did forget the ranch but honestly it was such a good sandwich you didn't need it. Curly fries were crispy and seasoned well. BUT the star was the watermelon lemonade, it had chunks of watermelon, which was a little hard to get through the straw but it was one the best lemonades I've ever had. So refreshing! read more

Sean's Shack is still a good option for burgers and fries. Service has just gotten a little slow. It took way too long to get a menu, and then a while for my order to be taken. The menus could be kept at the table if you seat yourself. It is much busier here than when I first started dining here so they may not have enough staff. The food did come out pretty quick though. On my most recent visit, I went with a double cheeseburger with fries. I got an iced tea too, and a refill was provided. The burger was prepared as ordered so no complaints there and a bottle of ketchup was brought for the fries. I really wanted another milkshake but it was too cold outside that day for me so hopefully next time will be a warmer day so that I will want a shake. read more

Came in around 10:00 pm on a Saturday, service was friendly and respectful. The food was good! I had a Frisco Melt with Cajun Fries and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. Restaurant has a sort of retro look to it, which makes it a nice burger joint. Will def be back! read more

I tried Sean's Shack for the first time this weekend and it did not disappoint. When you enter it very much feels like you have e entered a quaint dinner. The restaurant was very clean and the staff extremely helpful. I got the red hot breakfast sandwich and the it came in with just the right amount of spice. They let me change the cheese to cheddar which was much appreciated. The orange juice by far was the best that I have had in a long time. I will definitely be back. read more

I truly don't understand the hype behind this place. The food is average at best. I went in today and ordered the Rattler burger. It looked good but tasted mediocre, not to mention it took me about 5 average bites to eat the whole thing. It was supposed to have "queso and spicy chorizo", which was just jarred nacho cheese sauce the blandest "chorizo" which was basically just ground beef. Not much of it either. The fries were bland frozen fries and I got about a snack size amount. My problem with this place isn't necessarily the food, it's the prices. This place is an unbelievable rip off. My burger and fries, after the minimum possible tip, was over $17 dollars. Everyone hates on Five Guys because it's expensive. A double burger and small fries at Five Guys is around the same price and you get a portion that's about three-times bigger. I don't understand why this place offers everything a-la-carte. Fix your prices to the quality of the food you offer. read more

We found Sean Shack when we moved, and what a blessing. Probably the best fast food style burgers in Raleigh. They also have a good greasy breakfast sandwich, biscuit, and hash browns. So treat yourself in the morning and the evening. They're pretty quick to get your food out and the staff is very kind. Tons of parking since it is located in a shopping center. Our favorite time to go is for a Friday dinner treat. read more

Walked in around 8:30pm on December 15th(Monday). The girl at the counter wasn't the friendliest but I had high hopes that the food would be good. I don't know if she just wasn't paying attention but she forgot both sides of fries for our burgers. I got the garlic burger with fries and the guy that went with me got an Al pastor burger. We got the loaded fry appetizer as well and a birthday cake shake and nutella shake. I had asked for a couple of the creamy pesto sauces to go and she gave me straight up pesto. Not what I meant. Overall I love this place, every other experience has been amazing. However, today I went through the drive through and the person who took my order could not understand a word of what I said, I had to keep repeating myself, and no, they did not speak Spanish because I offered to switch languages to make it easier. Until I came inside and I tell a man who works there that my food is wrong and I just needed new fries, before I could open the bag to show it was 2 orders of fries, he goes "nah don't show me" and walks away from me in the middle of me talking. He then comes back and I ask "are there 2 orders in there?" and he walks away from me yelling "nah you didn't tell me that" trying to somehow humiliate me. I responded "I would've if you didn't walk away from me the first time while I was talking" and this other girl who worked there laughed in my face. Extremely disrespectful. Crazy that every other experience I've had that's been nice is with the morning shift people. Owner and manager needs to train their staff in costumer service correctly. Huge menu. Almost hard to choose what to have but they serve it all, all day. I went with the chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and they were entirely too spicy, which was odd for me because I absolutely love spice. It was that off putting spice that probably came from a bottle and just didn't have good taste. Pretty much everything on this menu is diner style, which I get, but just such low quality and fake. There was food stuck to my cutlery which was obviously gross. Luckily someone at my table didn't need theirs so I figure it's not worth mentioning to the staff. We were greeted by our waiter, he took the orders, brought the food and never showed back up unless it was to drop the check. Don't really get the concept of the inside of this place, there are random cartoons painted all over the inside and the different styles of food are confusing. The menu is super creative and HUGE. The service was great too, we were seated and served very quickly. The thing that surprised me the most was the value, top notch food at a great price. The ambiance, reminded me of an old school diner, and the TVs with pictures of the delicious looking food made me eager to come back for more! I had my second visit late on a weekday afternoon (needed to have an early dinner before working in the evening.) I was immediately greeted and seated, and the server was prompt with a menu and my beverage. My choice this time was the Royal Burger - a double burger with a fried egg, tomato, and lettuce. I requested no mayo and instead asked for mustard. The server uses a handheld device to place the order. My meal was brought to the table quickly and piping hot. The fries were better than on my previous visit. Liked the Royal Burger flavor. The owner or manager came by the table and asked how was my meal and thanked me for my business, and that's always a plus to me. The only minor thing I wish they would change is that they provide packets of catsup instead of bottles on the table. On both visits, there were very few customers dining inside.
