Village Burger with fries, pickle chips, and sweet potato fries

Average burgers and service. We enjoyed our takeout meal, but found it expensive for what it is. Ordering at the counter took a while so I recommend ordering online for takeout. The menu is extensive. Honestly it is too many items. They offer typical beef burgers along with exotic meats and vegan options. The recommended topping combos are confusing and clutter the menu. It could be organized better. Overall, we did enjoy the items and appreciate the variety and how customizable the menu is.

The ambience was cozy, rustic, contemporary, and urban. The music was a vibe, nonstop. Service was average. The food was delicious, but I would choose a different signature topping in the future. The fries were delicious, crispy, and plenteous. The menu has quite a few exotic burger types to choose from, including bison, turkey, and veggie burgers. The mango margarita was not as sweet as I desired, and I could barely taste the alcohol in it. Despite this, I will return again soon. It's burgerlicious!

A stop at this restaurant is a MUST if you're in the Glenwood area! The service is good and the menu has a wide selection for any diet or taste preferences. The orders have a very quick turnaround time and the food is EXTREMELY good. Seriously can't wait to go back!

I came here for dinner with my boyfriend and was excited about all of the vegetarian burger options they have! It's a typical burger place but it was Valentine's Day so they were playing some slow instrumental songs that kind of ruined the ambiance of the dinner since that's not what I'm going to a burger place for regardless of the occasion. To start, I got the chocolate milkshake which was very creamy and tasty. We also got the breaded zucchini with their signature sauce and ranch and everything (even the ranch) so amazing and tasty! I ordered the black bean burger with the deer pairing and subbed the tomato for sautéed onions and it was a great burger - I have no complaints about it. For the side, we got the frings and it was okay - the onion rings were average and the french fries were tasty but soggy. For our service, it was a bit disappointing. Our waitress never refilled my water and only came to check up on us once and then never came back until we asked for the check.

The service was great, everyone was super friendly and the restaurant had a nice vibe. The fried pickles were larger than usual, but still very tasty (instead of pickle chips, it was a pickle slice). They had a decent amount of burger options. The burger was cooked perfectly, I just wish it was a bit more seasoned. Overall, it was really good.

Walked in at 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Instant bad vibes from the bartender. It was pretty obvious he didn't want to be at work, and he was salty AF. I think we were cutting in on his time with the hostess because he disappeared from the bar. Mediocre drinks delivered and we need no further evidence that we need to move on. We got you, Bro. We'll move along. I guess this is a night place. We'll spend our drinking money elsewhere

Are you tired of eating the same old burger? Go check out burger village raleigh for some exciting burger options to choose from. They offer exotic meats like Bison, Elk, Boar for your burger with toppings recommendations for each. Not a meat eater? Don't worry, Burger Village has Veggie & Vegan options as well. I tried the Elk burger this time. It was juicy and cooked to a perfect medium. I like to enjoy my burger with a drink and burger village doesn't disappoint. Try the spicy margarita for a little kick or the coconut mojito if you like something sweeter. And of course my favorite the smoked old fashioned!

Ambience was ok, the look and feel of the restaurant was excellent but they were blasting classical music. Not the music I want to listen to with my burger and beer. Service was also not the best, she never filled our water and only checked on us once. Was not very happy with that. With all that being said the food was actually pretty good. I got the beef burger, my deer style and it was very good and perfectly cooked. I also tried the black been burger from my girlfriend and it was amazing. The fried zucchini was very good and a great starter. Milkshake coming out of that authentic glass was great.

Although the space is tiny, the desserts and cocktails more than make up for the line out front, and the noisy nature of downtown locations! There were 4 of us and we enjoyed the strawberry pretzel pie, derby pie, ice cream, coffee, and old fashioned. First of all, AMAZING cocktails- and an epic list of whiskeys, bourbons, and scotches. They've also got some custom beverages that you cannot find else. Super thumbs up for originality of cocktails, creative menu presentation, and speed of service! The derby pie was good- but I like mine with a denser filling. My friend enjoyed her strawberry pretzel pie, and the fact that not many places offer this on their menu. But, she said it was not as good as homemade. The gents in our party RAVED about how great Bittersweet's old fashioned drinks were! They said that these were definitely in the top three beverages they had ever had! This hole in the wall had a bridal party, some goth appearing folks, and suits too. In short, no matter what you like to drink, what you enjoy eating for dessert, you will find it here!

This place was absolutely amazing. All I can say is, we made a lot of happy noises while eating,…read moreand there were plenty of "oh my God" moments at the table. From the staff to the manager to the food, everything was on point. The food truly speaks for itself. They serve small plates, which we love because it gives you the chance to try different things and experience a variety of flavors. We started with the fried pork belly on tostones. It was perfectly seasoned, topped with avocado, and every bite just melted in your mouth. Next, we had the tamarind sticky ribs with a tamarind mango barbecue sauce. This was a perfect example of how simplicity can create complex flavors. The ribs were cooked just right -- not completely falling off the bone, but tender enough that when you bit into them, the meat pulled apart so easily. They were juicy, full of flavor, and had just the right touch of spice from the chili flakes. Then we moved on to the mini arepas, and oh my God. They had slow-cooked pork, guava barbecue sauce, and fried papas on top. The arepa itself was crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside. The savory pork paired with the sweetness of the guava barbecue sauce was incredible, and the crunch from the fried papas took it to another level. Now, I have a bit of a sweet tooth, but my wife does not. I wanted dessert, and we were leaning toward the tres leches, but our waitress highly recommended the bread pudding. I am not usually a fan of bread pudding at all, but her recommendations had been on point all night, so I decided to trust her. I am so glad we did. They take a Mexican bolillo, soak it overnight in tres leches, then pan-sear it to create this crispy caramelized outside while keeping the inside warm, soft, and sweet. It is topped with crema and toasted coconut, then they pour warm guava syrup over it and serve it with a scoop of coconut sorbet. The layers of flavor in that dessert were unreal. Honestly, it may have been the best dessert we have ever had. And remember, my wife is not big on sweets -- she usually only takes one bite of dessert, but this time she tried to eat over half of it. Lol. I highly recommend this place. The food, the service, the drinks, and the atmosphere were all amazing. And after dinner, you can even head upstairs to work off the food with salsa lessons and a dance club. This is definitely a spot worth checking out! Me alegra muchísimo haberlo hecho. Jajaja.

Seriously, if you can't find a pour you like here, you may just need water instead. Started with the biscuits topped with crackling and house-made preserves, and honestly, that combo alone made me question why I don't eat more biscuits in life. Sweet, salty, buttery chaos in the best way. For the main, I went with the pork chop and greens. The chop leaned a little overcooked for me personally, but the sauce helped bring things back together and added good flavor. The greens had a nice little kick of heat, but I kept waiting for that deep smoky ham hock flavor to show up like an old Southern grandma entering the kitchen... and it never quite arrived. Overall though? Still a solid meal, strong whiskey program, cool atmosphere, and definitely worth checking out if you're in Raleigh looking for a bourbon-forward dinner spot. Travelin_Broke approved with a slight side-eye from the greens.

The Service was outstanding thanks to Hayley. Her recommendations for pairing the drinks with the food were flawless, and each drink was prepared like a work of art. The rice is black and inky and potent and extraordinary, but it overwhelmed the fish completely. Still greatful I got to experience it, but I would pair it with something more gamy like lamb or goat. The Pecan pie with warm salted caramel ice cream was nothing short of a spiritual experience, and Hayley's recommendation to pair it with Rum Flip was perfect. Yes, I Ubered.
