Recently tried this Wendy's again... first time I got the 2 jr bacon cheeseburger meal for 8 bucks... mostly bread... the bacon was hard... definitely not for me. The new chicken tenders weren't bad... 2nd time I had a single burger, spicy chicken sandwich and got some tenders for my sweetie. The burger was not fresh, the chicken sandwich was hot without flavor and the tenders were overcooked and not tender at all. The price seemed a little high for the quality received. Inedible COLD (fries (3), double burger, chicken club, saucy nuggets). The double burger was made completely incorrectly. Was not easy to find a way to discuss with rep but finally received phone number to call. Woman was very nice but WENDY's dictated only a very minimal credit of $10 and some odd cents - when the entire meal was inedible and not eaten (heating up fries is awful, burger was all wrong, chicken was on a club and re-heating just dried it up, saucy nuggets just not the same). It wasn't my fault and I didn't know it hadn't come in, but the manager, who is a Black man, started yelling at me and treating me badly. He was very rude, telling me the order hadn't been received. One of the workers tried to explain the situation to me, but the manager yelled at him too, telling him not to say anything to me. Very surprised by the low ratings of this place. I typically come here for breakfast and the food is always on point! The location is neatly tucked away and has plenty of parking spots. The service at times can be slow, but IMO, it's better than most other places. While I've never eaten inside, the ambiance looks pretty quiet and not busy. I think most people probably just use the drive through anyway. Definitely recommend trying the breakfast burrito (sausage). It's a decent portion and they provide two Cholulua hot sauce packets. I'm not much of a spicy eater, but adding this hot sauce to the burrito is really good. The coffee is good, not super hot when they give it to you. Obviously takes CCs/cash. I've tried the lunch menu once but I'll try it again down the road. Overall for a Wendy's place - it's pretty good. read more

Wendy's 808 Rockville Pike; Rockville MD 20852; 8:30 pm 30 Jul 2025: I saw manager Rocki, (Rokii?) with a paper cup pouring a very dark, almost black liquid from one fryer to another fryer. I asked him what he was doing and he said leveling off the fluids. I told him that oil is old and needs to be changed and to change it immediately. He just grinned and had not a care in the world and said it's good. I told him it is dangerous to serve fries to humans from that fryer. He again grinned like he had no idea of what was going on. I left and so did others in line. This guy needs to go, what else is he making bad examples for the young employees that are there to do a good job? I ordered through the drive through and when I got to the payment window, I was met with 2 people speaking in a racist Asian accent due to myself being Asian. They then asked if I was Chinese, Korean, or American which I find offensive since I was fully born and raised here. I was here on Sunday, July 1st. I'm not really a huge fan of Wendy's in general, but I felt that the customer service was far superior to other locations I've been to. I was thinking I wish the one near my office was even close to this good, near home, or any other location I've been to. This was a matter of convenience than much desire to actually eat Wendy's (besides I have a Wendy's right near my office, and even had a salad from that location 4 days earlier). My friends wanted to go to this Pho restaurant on that humid 97 F day since it was next door to an event we were going to. I was early waiting for them there. The A/C isn't even on. I complained to my friends when they walked in. Also, I didn't want Pho in the 97 F without the AC on in the restaurant. I was willing to eat one of their non-Pho items, but guess what? They didn't have it! I told my friends & the server, this is ridiculous; I'm walking to Wendy's! Wendy's was the closest restaurant, and I didn't want to drive since I would lose the great parking spot I had (Parking is pretty awful in that shopping center). I asked if either would join me, and they decided to stay, which was fine. Ironically, I walk in the blistering heat, but I walked in the Wendy's, which felt good with the A/C blasting out the cold air. They have to keep their famous Frostie's cold somehow...haha. I used the Wendy's app and happened to have a deal that expired that day. I went with the free chicken sandwich with purchase of fries & drink. I upgraded to the Strawberry Lemonade, which is pretty good there. The cashier was really nice, subtracted the sandwich price from the combo. I thought she would have to key in the fries & drink separately, which would've cost me more. I also mentioned about no free refills on the specialty lemonades. She said no, I'll refill for free. I was pleasantly surprised by that. I know other locations like the one in Calverton, you get no free refill. The sandwich, fries, & drink came out fast. The chicken sandwich was pretty good; nothing exceptional, but it did the job of sustenance (as my one friend would say). I tried to get the free refill from that same nice cashier, but she was busy, and the other person gave me the refill; no questions asked. read more

Food was good. Our cashier, Mikayla was nice and got our order correct, which is rare at fast food places. When we received our order, we were given the wrong burger. I returned it to the cashier and she was nice about it as well as prompt in fixing it. All I wanted was a Pumpkin Spice Frosty but I decided to get lunch. I did not have alot of time but this is fast food, right? I ordered a Bacon Cheese Burger with ketsup, mustard and pickle, no Mayo, and a large fries. When I opened my sandwich I had a Ranch Burger with spicy chapoltle sauce. I went back to the counter and the young lady knew I had the wrong sandwich. After waiting what seemed like 5 minuetes I pointed out to the young lady that my fries were getting cold. She gave me my sandwich and another fries. I went back to my table and when I opened my bacon burger it had Mayo. I went back to the counter woman and she got the manager. I repeated my order to him and after another 5 mins he gave me my sandwich. When I opened it up they gave me another Ranch Burger. I was now out of time and out of a Burger. For a fast food chain the food is pretty tasty. I like their burgers they blow McD's out of the water. This is not really great praise as McD's are grade D beef (if it is beef) at best. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich is what I show up for. This is one of the best fast food meals. Yum!!! The fries kinda suck, but since lard went away all fries suck. I do like the Frosty; for those of you that are new on this planet, the frosty is a milk shake that is way thick and pretty darned tasty. Is a review really necessary? I mean, it's a restaurant chain that serve pre-packaged food therefore if you read one review for a Wendy's in Butthole, North Carolina, it's bound to be the same for the one at Rockville, Maryland. But I shall attempt. Famous for it's chili, it's the best chili I've tasted for a fast food restaurant. The food is okay but what I like about the burgers is that the beef patty is square-shaped. That just blows my mind! Square-shaped patties! Wendy's is so edgy! Here's a bit of trivia for you (courtesy of wikipedia). Next time you go up to a counter at Wendy's, ask for the four-patty burger aka the "Grand Slam". It does not appear on their in-store menus but most Wendy's employees would recognize the order. The order appears on both the LCD screen of the cash registers, and on the reciept. There's also a five-patty burger aka a "Super Grand Slam," especially in Southern Canada. There's also a less known order called the high-in-calorie- six-patty burger aka the "WTF-Is-Wrong-With-You Burger." As you can tell, it's not very popular. read more
