Did dinner then lunch the next day. For dinner I did the power bowl and I added chicken, shrimp and avocado. I was very good and the service was on point. The chicken was cooked perfect and moist, the shrimp paired nice with the bowl. The avocado added a creaminess with the sauce that made a nice combination. Now of course this was a hotel restaurant so it was a bit pricey ($53 for the bowl). For lunch I had the crab cakes with a side cesar. I should have said hold the fries but feeling a little decadent. The crab cakes were good, they would have been closer to perfection with a better fry/crust on the cakes. The cesar was simple but good and the fries were close to amazing. They tasted like it was a double fry on them. If so nice job. All in all solid food with nice servers. Price is a little high but to be expected at a hotel restaurant.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice restaurant and bar located in the lobby of the Bethesda Marriott North.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We visited a couple times for drinks during our trip and all of the cocktails were well made and there are a nice selection of beers and liquors. One night we stopped in for dinner and once I saw the crab dip flatbread on the menu i knew i had to order it and I was not disappointed. So delicious and unique!

Undoubtedly the best egg sandwich I ever have eaten. I got "The BLT sandwich" on multi grain toast. It had a perfectly cooked friend egg, fresh avocado slices, bacon, dark green lettuce, and a thinly sliced tomato. I was staying in the hotel and had to have it again the same day. The waitress was super sweet and remembered my name and what I ordered. I also ordered lunch one day- a Burger with a side salad. It was delivered wrong (someone else's?) and they made a new one. It was delicious. Next time I'll get the fries. I also tried the flatbreads my friends ordered one night at the bar. I like the tomato better than the chicken, spinach, artichoke one which was surprising. I will dream of this egg sandwich!

Thank you to Caruso's Grocery for hosting my granddaughter's 16th birthday dinner. A huge shout out…read moreto Patrick, the event coordinator from Caruso's who helped me in every aspect of planning this special event. The food was delicious. The group was given a choice of appetizers: meatballs, basil and tomato caprese salad, dinner salad, or garlic bread. Each of the appetizers were better than the next. The girls shared the meatballs, garlic bread, and caprese salad. Thank you to our server for bringing out gluten free bread for one of our guests with a gluten allergy. Our main dishes was the shrimp scampi, which was full of flavor and so tasty. There were several of us who ordered the shrimp scampi and you could hear a chorus of oohs and aah's. We loved every bite. I am pleased to share that Caruso's has gluten free pasta for guests with gluten allergies. And, the gluten free pasta was scrumptious. The birthday girl had chicken parmigiana and a side of spaghetti. She really enjoyed her meal. Another, guest had the penne pasta and she loved hers too. There portions were very generous. We also had a guest order the Caesar salad with shrimp. It came out with dressing, when the dressing was supposed to be on the side, but our waiter was quick to remedy that. The ambiance is lovely and reminds me of my grandmother's home in Little Italy. It is old world Italian with comfortable seating. I know it was a busy night, but the one fly in our ointment was our server. There was too much of a lag between courses, and main dishes came out of the kitchen at different times. Also, our gluten free guest had to sit and watch while others ate cake because her ice cream sundae was no where to be found. It finally made it to the table, but I felt badly for this young lady. I know our server was swamped with guests. Hopefully, next time a large party is on the schedule, they can lighten the load for that server. All of the girls had a good time including the birthday girl. So, I am reminded of the saying, it all works out in the end. Thank you, Caruso's.

Food was very good! To start, we tried the Garlic Bread Quattro Formaggi which was so flavorful they even had fresh garlic inside the bread. We got two pasta dishes: Chicken Parmigiana and Spicy Neapolitan Ragu, both generous portions, very well flavored and overall delicious! Our cocktails were great too. Tried the Lemon Ricota Donuts--they were just okay, a bit too doughy for my preference.

It was definitely a loud atmosphere, but not something I minded. The service was a bit slow, which was understandable given how busy they were, and our server was friendly. Sitting at the sushi bar, I did notice several orders being mixed up or sent back, which may have contributed to the slower service. As for the food I ordered, it was just okay... nothing really stood out or wowed me tbh. I got the soft shell crab and a shrimp tempura taco. They were decent, but I felt the prices were a bit high for the quality. I didn't end up ordering any sushi, so maybe when I'm craving some sushi I'll come back to give that a try.

Right from the beginning, everyone was very friendly. Our waiter took our drink order, and the service was great the whole time. They gave my sister the birthday card they use so all the servers knew she was celebrating. It made her feel really special. I love that you can ask for the cuts of meat you want, and they come out almost right away. It felt like we were kings and queens because the gauchos kept bringing us the meats we requested, and all the other meats kept coming too. We never had to wait long for anything. Our drinks were always refilled, and the staff kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The Market Table had a nice variety, but let's be honest, we came for the meat! Everything was hot, fresh, and cooked well. It just kept coming until we were completely full. At the end of the meal, my sister got to pick the birthday dessert she wanted, and the staff came over and sang Happy Birthday. She also got to use the $25 birthday reward that was emailed to her, which was a nice bonus. We usually go to the Virginia location, but now that there's one in North Bethesda, we'll probably come here more often since it's much closer. We had a wonderful time celebrating together, and my sister had a great birthday. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful, and genuinely pleasant to be around. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a birthday or another special occasion, I would definitely recommend this location. We had a lot of fun, left completely stuffed, and are already looking forward to coming back.

The chicken was juicy and delicious in the velvety smooth creamy curry. I also loved the zesty salad and the luxuriously creamy and flavorful daal. My husband had the Yellow Crab Curry ($22.99). It contained a very generous portion of lumped crab and the curry was smooth and creamy as well. The curry came with rice and we had the option of ordering additional naan, if needed. The waiter advised me the restaurant served about 300 people for their Mother's Day brunch! I thought that was amazing. I also thought I couldn't imagine how difficult it would have been to go to the bathroom during such an event. The women's room had two stalls (and the accessible stall had a diaper changing table), but only one sink! Luckily that was not a concern during our lunch visit. Heads up, the wait staff will ask if you'd like a paper bag to carry out any leftovers, and they are $0.10/bag due to the bag tax.

I don't see crab on alot of Indian restaurant menus. It was blue crab, albeit from Louisiana. Tasted fine though. Our other dishes were butter chicken, and chicken tikka marsala. Both were fine, but most Indian restaurants have that down. We got good service, enjoyed the ambience, and recommend you give it a try.
