Don't even waste your time. They completely messed my order up and even gave my husband some hair in his burger! I ordered baconnator fries with extra bacon and cheese and they gave me the bare minimum! We typically go to this location too! But from what it looked like it's all new people who clearly don't care! Food safety is a REQUIREMENT not an option! Never again! Definitely getting a refund and not returning. I'd rather drive 30 minutes away to S. Portland where they care! Drive thru today and picked up a Parmesan Caesar salad. Very disappointing to say the least. Lots of brown romaine lettuce, green wilted lettuce that had holes in the leaves. i usually leave a review once i have my food but i didn't even have it yet and my boyfriend and i went through the drive thru and the girl tried to say they weren't accepting orders for the next 15 minutes, we proceeded to tell her we ordered online she asked the name, he said for john she said shawn? he corrected her and said john and began spelling it because she obviously didn't hear him then she said one second then repeated herself interrupting him rudely. i've never pulled up my yelp app faster to leave a review, you should not be working in customer service if that is how you're going to speak to people and run a business. read more

The very idea of writing a review about a fast food chain like Wendy's makes me LOL, but there's a reason for it. We really don't visit Wendy's, fast food truly isn't our thing; however, we just moved from the lights and abundance of Vegas to the tiny-itty bitty town of Saco - and Wendy's is one of the handful of places you can quickly grab a bite - so we pulled in. I was SO OVERWHELMED by the menu. It's completely different from the last time I had been to a Wendy's, there are items there which have crazy names (The BACONATOR) - man, I just want a burger and fries. They are currently running a 50 cent Frosty special, so I was CLEARLY adding one of those to my selection. My husband and I each chose the 4 for $4 option. You get 4 items off of the limited menu. You pick the main (like a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, chicken rollup, chicken sandwich, etc) and you get fries, a 4 piece nugget and a drink. After adding two medium chocolate frosties to the order, it all came to $13. GUYS. THIRTEEN DOLLARS. Holy crap, that's nothing. The drive thru operator was SUPER nice when I asked twice for more time to look at the menu, and even nicer when we pulled around to pay. We had our dog with us and they gushed about him "oh, hellllllo!!! How cute are YOU? Oh my goodness, so-and-so come look at this pup!" A small group of guys came over to the window to ogle my pooch. Adorable. I had questions about sauces, we changed an item on the order because if you order a 'bacon cheeseburger' they automatically change it to a JBC (Junior Bacon Cheeseburger) when my husband was very serious about having a grown-up-man-sized bacon cheeseburger (which turns out is a Baconator), they were super chill about all of it. The food was great, better than I remember. Nuggets were dope, cheeseburger deluxe was heavenly (with pickles!!!) and the fries were crispy! I suppose what prompted me to write this review was the service. Guys. Thank you so much for being exactly who you are! You are incredibly friendly, took time to put a personal touch on our interaction and were joyfully performing your job even though it's Memorial Day weekend and the restaurant was flooded with tourists. We don't do fast food often, but you can BET we'll be working this place into our rotation. You left an impact and although it may not be much, we'll be bringing our $13 and 5-star reviews back to your drive thru regularly. read more

The food here is typical Wendy's fair, as you would expect. Where my frustration enters is that time and again, I've been shortchanged on my fries. This has happened often enough to drive me here to post this review. Observe, in my pictures, my two latest yields, untouched by myself or my 3 year old. What can't be observed in the pictures are the wails of my three year old, impatiently waiting for her 'FWIES PLEASE DADDY!' Unfortunately, on the last two occasions of visit while accompanied with my 3 year old, she managed to accidentally dump her fwies on the floor, eliciting my response of surrendering my fwies to her, to stem the torrent of nearly insanity-causing quasi-english young child monolog. You see, if I had been served an adequate number of fwies to begin with, it would have mattered little to give some of mine to my starving child. My father and I went to Wendy's to get our usual order, a Dave's single hamburger, a baconator and a large raspberry Fanta. They managed to get the baconator and the raspberry Fanta right but gave us the completely wrong burger! We sat in line waiting for at least 7 minutes because they were talking to the people in-front of us, which we assume got our sandwich. The fries in the baconator were not hot they were more cool. Today I went to the Saco, ME Wendy's location around lunch time. The line was long, condiments empty, no ice, and basically had every other symptom of being short staffed (which they were). Three people walked in to inquire about the "now hiring" signs posted and these people were turned away. I don't know if this location just had people call out, but this was most likely a flat out lie. I even looked up job openings at this location and they are hiring. The people they turned away were African American. And due to the context I believe this was discrimination. That is NOT okay. Also, the sandwich was so terrible. The fried chicken looked like it had peices of lettuce in the breading and it was tinted green. It did not taste like a regular Wendy's Homestyle chicken patty. After a long day, I decided to stop in at Wendy's for some (usually delicious) cheese fries. Not going to lie, I get Wendy's cheese fries at least once a week and I know how they should be, personally. Well this time was a littttttle different. Line was wrapped around the building, ok fine we went inside. Two orders of cheese fries come out and one looks normal as expected, with nice cheese melted over the tops of the fries. However, the other cheese fry was NOT up to standards by any means. In my cheese fry I got the fries with unmelted shredded cheese placed over the top of them. If I wanted that I could have done that at home. After questioning the situation, I was scolded by the employee saying "that's how it always is we don't put things in the microwave." Like ok great that you don't use a microwave buuuuut I should not be looking at unmelted shredded cheese on my CHEESY FRIES. read more

Typical Wendy's drive thru. Staff is great and friendly. Food is no different from other Wendy's locations. I hardly have Wendy's unless I'm craving for it and tonight was the night. The new fresh mozzarella chicken sandwich is suprsingly very good. The chicken is juicy and tender but the fresh mozzarella makes It! It's soft and fresh! Buns are slightly roasted with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Definitely found my summer sandwich. read more

My little brother found mold in his fries. We went there because we were at Funtown/Splashtown and needed a quick place to eat that was cheap. They forgot my friends burger, which he ordered before us. The floor behind the counters was absolutely disgusting, and there was a dirty smoothie machine that looked like it had been collecting dust there for a few days as well-- just left there haphazardly. My own fries were soggy, but thankfully mold free. My family is deathly allergic to mold, so if my brother hadn't of noticed the mold this fun day could have ended in an ER trip due to an allergic reaction. I am not rating this on the food, as Wendy's here is the same as Wendy's in Alaska, the service at this place is horrendous. There is a fantastic woman who works the pay window, and that's the only reason this isn't a one star .... the guy who hands you food thinks he's in a Daytona 500 Race and you are making a pit stop, he will literally throw the food out the window at high speeds while yelling "Thank You" and moving on to whatever else he is doing. This is a typical Wendy's with the standard chain menu. Not the greatest staff, although Alicia is wonderful. Sometimes (too often) the fries are cold. Also (especially if you are ordering to go) check your order for accuracy. Sometimes the staff just doesn't care enough to get your order right and you must return to the counter to get it corrected. (This is especially important if you have a food allergy and special-order accordingly.) read more

Disappointed. Wendy's has always been my favorite fast food restaurant. The reason I like Wendy's so much is because they've always had healthier options since I've been a kid. I took my granddaughters to Wendy's because they like the food there and they eat it!!! My oldest granddaughter wanted the bacon & cheese potato. She was not pleased when she found a hair in it!!! We waited 27 minutes in the drive thru for two burgers, a fry and four small frostys. When we finally got to the window, two employees were just standing around gossiping. The employee that took our money said it would be a few minutes, after already waiting 17 minutes. She proceeded to gossip and curse with the other two and then after a few minutes turned around and asked if I wanted a carrier and then poured my frostys. We then waited longer for the food. Just went thru the drive thru here. Ordered two chilis, two burgers, a fry, and a frosty. The woman in the mic rushed us at the end of our order to where we both commented as to what her rush was. We were the only ones in the drive thru. We get to the window to pay, she hands us our frosty without a spoon or straw. We never received one for it. We receive our meal and check thru the bag for all ordered items. No fries. We go into the lobby to let them know. Not angrily but we just wanted the fries. Five employees were standing there talking amongst themselves with no one in the dining area. They argued with us that we didn't order any. The woman who rushed us thru our order went to prove that we never ordered them. Bottom line, she didn't listen nor did she confirm our order and inconvenienced us by having to go into the lobby twice, once to let them know and a second time to get our wallet to pay for them. if i could give this place less than one star i would. it started off with them not having any of the sauces i wanted them after i went to the fountain to get a drink they had none of the sodas filled and when i asked for them to fill it on the back they looked at me like it was a problem. i asked for 4 burgers and only got 2 then while waiting for my food i was looking at the wall and their was dead flys all over the wall. i love wendy's but this one was a shit show someone needs to figure it out. read more
