We stopped in for breakfast at Wendy's, and it was a great experience. The location is conveniently right off the main road with plenty of parking. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and the staff was very friendly. Our food came out hot, fresh, and tasty. After a few years not going here I thought maybe I could try again for the SpongeBob krabby patty meal. Not surprised in the slightest that I was again disappointed. Friday evening at 5pm (11/1/24) I took my son to get the famous krabby patty meal. It was inedible due to the amount of sauce they added on this burger. I ended up with some weird burger with nasty nacho cheese all over it. I didn't even notice until I got home of course. Food has never really been a problem for me here before. But today was what i'm hoping was an off day. I went through the drive through and immediately i was sitting at the machine for a few minutes before i finally spoke up and someone answered. However when i picked up my food she just stared at me and stared kinda rudely that my food was in separate bags which is fine but the girl looked like she needed a break. Came here last night for a late night snack, didn't pay much attention to the reviews as my choices were slim. Ordered a jr. bacon 4 for $4 with no mayo, and when I pulled around I luckily checked my bag to see I had a sandwich with only pickles, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and MAYO. I pulled through again and let them know they got my order incorrect, and I waited in line. When I pulled up to the window I was given my sandwich, which was still incorrect as they gave me a measly cheeseburger. After that I just left because there was no point in caring since they obviously didnt. However my family and I went to go eat in, there was other people in the dine-in however the doors were locked. I can't believe some of the reviews here. I was never a big Wendy's fan, started by trying their salads a few years ago and liked them. Have been in Sonora and other places with Wendy's lately and it has become a great go to. For me it's about the comfort food somedays. I've been getting the jr burger sometimes with cheese. Every bite is perfect, a little sweet onion and pickle make each bite delicious! The small fries are always hot and crispy, and you get a good amount of fries in a small. I get a small chocolate frosty and love dipping my fries in the Frosty. This meal leaves me full and is a great value. Another family member enjoys the bacon bourbon burger. The Sonora location is why I love Wendy's over any fast food in the area. The drive thru is fast and they always get my order right, and it's hot and tasty and well prepared. I want to throw an extra compliment to the guy taking orders with the enthusiasm that makes me smile every time. Yes, "it's the best fast food in the county". He is doing a great job making people feel welcome. He is so funny too! I suggest you give them a try and keep coming back for the great food with excellent service. read more

This is the second time they screwed up my Family's order and cost me extra money to correct there mistakes, I would have gotten back in line to have them correct it, but they were so slow and the line of cars were backed up around the building out into the street and moving at a snail pace. Second try since they opened. First time ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, not even realizing they had a giant chicken nugget sandwich (which is what I got) rather then the whole chicken sandwich. Tonight I went online from home to see how late they are open so I could give them another try. Was offered a big juicy looking burger for free for using the app. Ordered that and the "home style" crispy chicken sandwich. Went and picked up my order, everyone was lovely and then I get home to find that while everything else was steaming hot (and delicious) the free burger was the coldest nastiness burger I've ever seen or tasted. Gross. Why would anyone serve something like this and expect people to come back. Oh! I also ordered a frosty sundae which has cookies pieces on it. The cookie was burnt, I mean blackened burnt. So I don't usually eat Wendy's but it was one of the closer spots to me and I was able to grab a quick bite. They were understaffed but that's fine because I got my meal quite quickly and was able to enjoy the meal. Even though it was bland I was hungry af, and was just looking for a quick meal. I got a regular cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, and some cheese slice. (Yes I know very basic but I was exhausted). But surely the customer service was okay and the line was not that long but it did take some time to get my food. Also, I am not sure if they have opened their dining area yet but they do have the drive-thru available. I haven't been there in a while so I am not sure how it is. I hope. That was the only time I have ate Wendy's and I mean it is better than McDonalds(sorry). Ummm I would rate it 6/10 but I won't be going back anytime soon. :) read more

Today we were bringing the family home from camping; though I had not been to one in years, we stopped at a Wendy's in Sonora. The place was immaculate! Dining room and restrooms. The friendly gentleman working at the counter was named Jack; we asked since he was notable. We noticed that when he wasn't taking customer orders he was busy cleaning the dining room. The food was tasty and fresh, and the order was correct. Even though there was a steady customer flow and busy drive-thru, are food arrived quickly. I hope this place stays this nice.
