Wendy's is a sentimental gem to any local. It is one deli within a local breed of deli's that cater to the blue collar contingent and therefore open at the crack of dawn and close early. They make big, monster sandwiches for big, hungry men. They made a special impression on me when I was young apparently because I can still remember that The #2 is or was a great sandwich: chicken cutlet, honey mustard cheese and bacon if I'm not mistaken. read more

Wendy's Deli. Decent deli, nothing great... NOTHING GREAT. Gross, almost uncooked bacon, even after asking for crisp; small portion, no frills, without much of an idea on how to provide good service. Service wasn't awful but, could use some help. Produces only a semi-decent sandwich. This is my favorite North Fork deli. I come here probably once a week before work, even though it's technically like four minutes in the opposite direction. The sandwiches are great, prices are fair, they have a huge menu with specials that change often and are always worth a glance. The girls who work behind the counter are so so sweet and quick. Their coffee is always good, for simple deli coffee. My only complaint is that every once in a while, I get rubbery chicken or not the freshest lettuce or a way smaller wrap than usual, but I'm talking like 2 out of 10 visits. It's the perfect deli to stock up for a beach or vineyard day! read more

I went into Wendy's, and it wasn't the WORST, but my quiche was so disgustingly full of cheese that I would rather spend a couple more $ and go to Lombardis or anywhere else. Not only that, they display their "American Pride" (if ya know what I mean) everywhere. So yeah there's that too, I would just stay away. read more

I happened to be driving through the area with some friends and we were starving. We happened upon Wendy's and chuckled at what their menu may include. The laughing soon ceased. We were greeted by a friendly staff in a well stocked deli with absolutely delicious food at very reasonable prices. I got a breakfast hero with eggs, cheese, sausage, bacon, ham, and hashbrowns for less than $10! And it was delicious. One of my friends got the best pancakes any of us had ever tasted. It was like they put a cake on a deli slicer, they were that good. The drink and chip selection were great too. Cannot recommend highly enough. read more

I come here often on my way to work. Never had a bad sandwich here and prices are fair. Only complaint which I guess I can't really complain about is they aren't open on Sunday's which stinks living down the road from here. Makes my Sunday egg sandwich run much further and much for expensive A++ must try for the classic deli items! read more

went in with my friends to get a bec. said the grill is off. who shuts the grill off before 11am on a weekend.

Kinda disappointed they close at 2 in the afternoon on a Wednesday but to close 20 minutes early is just ridiculous.

Hubby and I were on the way to the cross sound ferry and needed some breakfast. We called on the road and ordered 2 egg wraps. We drove up, I jumped out, grabbed a juice and was enjoying the wrap within the half hour. The wraps were delish and still hot when we finally got to eat them. Fabulous food, great staff, giant portions, excellent pricing. They also have a great selection of items for breakfast & lunch. They close at 3p, so get there early. If we didn't live 3 states away, I'd go every day. read more

Great deli. The people are super friendly and the eggs sandwiches are great. The best thing about this deli is that you can call your order in ahead of time and pick it up on the run. On the down side they are not open on Sundays, but then again a day off is well deserved. read more
