Visiting some friends and we needed some last minute food late at night. With nothing else open, we chose to come here. Wendy's is one of the better fast food options and the 4 for $4 is a hard deal to beat anywhere which I love. The problems we had were: - It took almost 15 min to get through the drive thru even though we were the only ones there - When we pulled up to the drive thru despite it being empty we were shouting hello at the speaker for like 5 min before someone finally answered to take our order - They were out of all flavors of frosty - Ordered an Orange Hi-C and received a Fanta instead That being said - the nuggets, fries, and burgers were still good. This Wendy's is trash and the people that work there are incompetent. Ordered food for me and a friend, one combo and a $5 biggie bag with a junior bacon cheeseburger. At the drive thru window they forgot to give me one order of fries. On the JBC they forgot to put bacon on there, so I went inside and asked for a new sandwich, which they remade with burnt disgusting bacon. Then when I get to where we were working, I gave my buddy his sandwich and it was not the sandwich he ordered. He ordered a Bourbon Chicken and they ended with a Double Beef something or other. I'm not sure how you make three mistakes on one order, but the people working there are clearly braindead. One lady walked up to the counter, and started opening the cash register. I said good morning and she ignored my very existence and walked back into the kitchen. I would like to commend Taveras for going above and beyond with both kindness and customer service. Unfortunately for me, I found that my purse was missing after ordering during a snowstorm. Taveras was very sweet and even offered to buy my meal! Luckily, my belongings were recovered and all is well now. I know it's not up to me, but I'd say he deserves a raise! Wendy's is a very good fast food restaurant, but you need to get the right items. The fries are solid, they used to be bad, but they changed the recipe. Now they are crispy and flavorful. The chicken nuggets are delicious, they are crunchy and seasoned beautifully. The chicken is tender and juicy. The chili with cheese is fantastic. It is honestly probably my favorite chili. It's thin, not thick like I like my chili. It is flavorful and meaty. Also Wendy's homemade crackers are great and they make the chili that much better. The burgers are disgusting. The buns are soggy, the meat tastes weird and the burgers are never cooked right. The price is extremely cheap and the service is fast. Overall, Wendy's is a good fast food restaurant. read more

I went through the drive through and ordered a biggie bag with a frosty cold brew. I had just had a frosty cold brew in Florida a couple of weeks ago, it came with frosty ice cream in it. Here it is just an iced coffee, I said something to the kid (Tyshane, according to receipt) that took my order about the difference, his only reply was that they do not do them that way here. I asked to return for a refund, I wanted the actual frosty cold brew, if I wanted iced coffee I would go home and make it myself. He had to call his manager over, a "lady" in her late 40's early 50's who gave me a refund, but since I had substituted the coffee for the soda I asked for the soda that comes with the biggie bag. She kept saying I am refunding you for the coffee, but the biggie bag was still the cost of the biggie bag which includes a drink. She then told the kid to get me a small root beer, which for some reason he went to the front of the store instead of preparing it right there where there was a soda machine, I have a feeling he made it extra special for me with some of his own DNA in it. I did not drink it, I am not quite as foolish as his immaturity. Then the women made the comment that the next time I need to go to a different Wendy's. Yes, I will because rude and obnoxious people are not what I pay for. Whomever owns this franchise needs to clean house because if you do not want to be there, do not take it out on the customer that expected one thing and got something totally different. If that is the way the drink is supposed to come it should be renamed to what it is, an iced coffee. read more

I wish I could give a 0 star review. My family usually enjoys a quick bite from Wendy's, but our experience this past Sunday afternoon will keep us away for the foreseeable future. Upon arrival we were told that the computer had to be rebooted. This was ok as our family of 4 had to decide what we wanted and we had pulled up to the drive thru. After waiting about 6 minutes we were told that if we wanted to wait we had to park. When I asked why, we were told because of the timer. If it takes you this long to take my order and fill it, then the timer is accurate. Way to go Wendy's being more worried about your timer than your customer. Hint, the computer doesn't make the good, how about next time, you take the order let us pay cash (you should be able to calculate our total without a register) or figure out another work around. I went to Wendy's tonight, I should have left. I went thru the drive thru there were 2 cars in front of me. I got to the window and was told I have to wait 3 minutes for my baked potato, I waited well over 10 minutes, I went inside waited another 5 minutes to get my food. My chicken tenders were hard and old and the baked potato was the smallest. I didn't go back since I don't live near by. I also don't want to catch a case. I will never eat there again. Wendy's - Hair in my French fries - Fast Food Near Me - Troy, New York

So I go to Hudson Valley Community College right across the road from this Wendy's and recently my friends and I have been going down to this location. Every time we have gone the staff has been professional and excellent at getting the food out. Today I went there and they said that there would be a slight wait for the chicken nuggets I ordered (which is reasonable because we had gone pretty early in the morning not long after they opened). They put the fries and soda that comes with the meal on a tray and I took it to go sit at the table to wait for my chicken to be done. After a little while I went back up and asked if there were any ready. The girl I had asked walked over to where it is, checked and said they are and asked that since I had to wait, what flavor Frosty would I like. She then went, got me the chicken, gave me a small Frosty and was as nice as could be the whole time. I know it may not be a big deal to some people, but not in a million years would I have expected that. Usually with other places I go, I would get my food handed to me without a smile or even a chance to thank them for bringing it to me but thay doesn't happen here. I don't recall her name, but I would like to thank everyone at this location for making every visit I have there a positive one. They all have spectacular customer service skills and that's something you don't see very often at all any more. read more
