I have been a fan of Chick-fil-a for years and was so excited for one to come to Clifton Park. I knew to expect long lines for awhile, given that this was the first in Saratoga County. I have been once for dinner & waited about 1/2 hour in the drive thru line, which I expected as there were quite a few cars ahead of us. What I didn't expect was a short line for breakfast a few weeks later, & still waiting 1/2 hour. This franchise needs some training with their more experienced counterparts elsewhere on how to run an efficient drive thru line. It shouldn't take 30 minutes for 5 cars to get breakfast sandwiches. If the food isn't ready, they need to move the cars to waiting spots so that other cars can get through. By the time we got our order, it had obviously been sitting there awhile. Hopefully, this will improve. read more

For takeout, I ordered a Fish Gyro ($8.99 plus tax) and a Side of Mac & Cheese ($3.99 plus tax). The gyro was made to order as I customized the fillings after the frying process. I was all set in about 9 minutes. The fish gyro was huge which had crispy spiced white fish filets, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, chick peas, onions, golden fries and a creamy yogurt sauce overflowing in a warm soft gyro pocket. The orange mac & cheese side was dense and soft, a solid good side for the loaded gyro. I was only able to eat half of the gyro and mac & cheese and enjoyed the rest later on that evening. On the next visit, I plan to grab some Nashville (hot chicken) sliders and fries.
