After an Amtrak train ride from Boston to Providence, I took a bus from the Amtrak station to the Providence airport. It was late in the day and found this Wendy's restaurant within walking distance from my airport hotel. I was happily surprised that this Wendy's Restaurant was there. It was a quick trip for dinner before walking back to the hotel to sleep and enjoy from a day of travel. The entire experience here at this Wendy's restaurant took about at most an hour and a half. I took about 15 minutes to make up my mind and ordered a meal with extra bonuses to keep me loaded with carbohydrates. The bright spot of this experience was the chili. Wendy's restaurant makes pretty good chili. I ended up getting 2 orders and had one in the restaurant that night and the other the next morning. I also got the baconator burger combo with a large fries and a large drink. I had a big feast and definitely loved the chili because I normally don't have chili on a regular basis. On this night that I was here at this Wendy's restaurant here in Providence, Rhode Island, it was an interesting one because I was basically the only one dining in here on a Sunday eveningin May 2025. This restaurant is fairly close within walking distance from the airport. I actually walked from the airport into where this one is located. For the most part, though, it was a nice peaceful, uneventful, casual dinner before I had to run a marathon the next day in Warwick. The chili helps keep everything smooth and definitely enjoyed eating here, especially when I don't normally die in Wendy's anyway, while I travel or at home. I enjoyed the ambience of this restaurant because it was very quiet and I was the only one dining in here at the time. My favorite part of this experience was the fact that this Wendy's has the self service digital drinks station. You could practically order up any drink that you want, and it would be there in stock, usually. It's pretty cool. And so, I sat and ate my meal while on my phone. I spent about an hour here and refilled my drink about 3 times before leaving after finishing my meal. I enjoyed the quiet ambience, of course and it was nice to be able to just decompress before heading back to the hotel after a day of traveling by train from Boston to Providence. The over experience here at this Wendy's fast food restaurant was pretty good and casual at the same time. Not the best fast food fare, but it is quite convenient if you're staying in the airport area of Providence, Rhode Island. The service here was friendly and fast while being interesting and everything that is good about living in the East Coast. The price is here are easy on par with many of the fast food restaurants anywhere and everywhere you would find. The menu has all your favorite items, including the aforementioned chili. They also have smoothies and fountain drinks to chill your thirst. Wendy's, the Canadian fast food restaurant offers, basically your favorites, from burgers to french fries, to smoothies, to anything else in between. However, Wendy's is a favorite because they have chili. Maybe I should think of Wendy's when I want chili. If I ever come back to Providence, Rhode Island Feature travels I would definitely come here just because it's next to the airport. If you feel like me, you better get the chili because this is quite awesome and definitely a meal worth consuming. I enjoyed myself here and hope you do too. This Wendy's fast food restaurant is located near the Providence Rhode Island regional airport. It's physically located at 1951 Post Road, just outside of the airport corridor. As mentioned before, you could actually walk from the terminal/baggage claim and out into the main road and walk to Wendy's. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. Not sure about crypto though. As far as parking goes, they have a large and generous parking space for anybody and everybody who wishes to dine here. For myself, though, I ended up walking to Wendy's from the airport. And when I was done, I walked from Wendy's to one of the airport hotels for the night, which wasn't that far anyway maybe about a quarter mile away. I'm not sure if there is public transportation service here that runs from the airport into the neighborhood community, but double check to see if there is anything available in Providence to make you get here to enjoy when these chili or whatever you're craving. Period for me, though, I felt the baconator burger was very good and very filling. The french fries were good too. Very crispy and very satisfying at the time. As always, you can always use Lyft or Uber to come here to pick up your breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or a late night snack. Wendy's is a popular choice. Then when i got to the window i asked for ghost pepper sauce IN addition (Before i handed my card so they'd have time to charge me for sauce. She then doesn't give me bbq and only ghost. when confronted she was rude and rolled her eyes. My partner had a chili salad, she said was very good. Topped off by a mint frosty, it was swirled with chocolate favor. I used the Wendy's app on my phone to order ahead. If you haven't already installed it, you should. You'll earn free food and hooray for free food! My order was ready when I arrived and went inside. The restaurant is clean. Tables in the dining room were separated for social distancing and they were clean. When I unpacked it, the burger was good. Assembled properly and wrapped right. It's been a while since I had Wendy's chili so I'm unsure if this half full cup is the way it's supposed to be. Seems like not but I don't know. There was no sour cream or crackers provided. Note that if you're getting your food in the restaurant to go, as opposed to the drive through, they will not put any napkins or plasticware in the bag. So just about every Saturday I order breakfast at the Wendy's on Post Road in Warwick. Every time the order is wrong. I no longer order drinks there for obvious reasons (they cant get that right either)... I will stop at Honey Dew for drinks and then proceed to Wendy's for my breakfast sandwiches. Today I ordered a Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit and a Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit... after I repeated my order what did I get ???? Two sausage biscuits one with egg and one without WTF. Absolutely terrible service. We were waiting for our food (we only ordered fries and a kids meal) and it took 30 minutes! Like this is Wendy's for gods sake what do you have to do scoop some fries and warm up so pre bought chicken?! If I could give negative stars, I would. For the amount of time we waited, I expected gourmet food. Instead I got like warm everything, a lack of straws, and a notification that they were out of what I ordered after I ordered, paid, and sat at the window for too long. Well, this particular experience was pretty bad. I ordered a #1 with no ketchup or mustard. She asks me if I want cheese. I say no. She says, "so you want a #1 with ketchup and cheese." I said no, and repeated, and I got cheese anyway! Cheese product, I should say. My car smelled of something burnt. Burnt fry grease? My fries were a little brown and stiff, and room temp. I waited 20 minutes behind 4 or 5 other cars and still got cold fries that sat! I did not expect it. A couple hours after I got home I got sick. 48 hours of sick, and I remind myself why I should never eat cold or strange smelling food from these places. If you just arrived at the airport, the Warwick-Cranston-Providence area has a lot of really great food options that are also close to the AIRPORT. Both sit down and fast food. I have never gotten a complete order from the staff at this Post Rd. Wendy's. Very rude staff and managers/ supervisors who don't enforce the Wendy's ideals that make most Wendy's Restaurants a good place to eat! This is easily the best Wendy's fast food chain I have had the blessing of dining at. First of all, the employees here were nothing short of world class, always helpful and polite; as well as prompt with service. The food here is absolutely exquisite - hands down the best of the best, this establishments deserves a Michelin 5 Star Review. They have the most mouthwatering delectable french fries you will ever have the fortune of tasting, just the aromatics of these fries alone is enough to make you salivate. On more than one occasion, I've pulled out of the drive-thru line along with 1 or 2 other cars and we've followed each other down the street to Burger King. On top of being generally slow, they'll leave you sitting at the speaker for several minutes before they take your order (I suspect this is a way to rig their service timer to appear shorter from order time to drive away time). And forget about going inside... if you do, you'll never eat there again. It's filthy... Awful! While ordering, the girl started a conversation with another worker and ignored me!! After she was done with her conversation she finally took my order. After I paid she asked me 3 times what I ordered. There was a group of like 7 people at the register not working and all talking and not making any food. Are you kidding me?! This Wendy's is pretty convenient for a meal or pit stop if you're traveling through Rhode Island on I-95, even though you have to drive a short distance off I-95 to get to the restaurant on US 1. It is, unfortunately, a royal pain trying to make a left turn into the parking lot if you are driving north on US 1 (which you would be from the exit. The food is your basic Wendy's menu, but you might experience problems ordering. For example, they got a simple coffee order wrong with my meal. If you're in a hurry, this is a good place to stop. If you have some time, consider driving a little further north and try some of the restaurants in the area. read more

Worst service ever on a Saturday night before 6pm! They had not a single person in drive thru line so I would say slow, and a few cars in parking lot. Drive thru customer service needs an up grade try a please, thank you, come again that would be nice! I don't know what kind of magical over the top service people expect from fast food, but all I want is my order correct, hot and fast. That is exactly what I got today. After running some errands around town, I decided to grab a quick lunch from here before heading back to my hotel. I went to the drive thru window,and was greeted right away. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and with their strawberry lemonade drink. I drove up to the window, greeted and paid. Within a few moments I got my food and drink and was on my way. While at the window we all witnessed an employee (younger guy) drop nuggets and fries, pick them up and put them back into the bag. This is the only Wendy's that I go to in the Warwick area. You just can't go wrong with Wendy's. My boy loves the Cheesy Cheddar burger off the value menu and my daughter digs the value nuggets. I typically don't go here, but when my son has had a good day and hasn't had a single timeout, this is his go-to request for dinner. I can pick up dinner for both kids for about $6 using the value menu. Can't beat that. I've never had bad service at this particular Wendys. I'm a fan..."Better Morning!" read more

Okay, I have to admit that this is not the best Wendy's in the world. I have been to this particular Wendy's many times but over a long period of years. This was a great place to go when I was going out and partying. Late night eating and this used to be one of the few places open besides the Bickfords (now closed). I can tell you that as a rule of thumb you are not going to get the best food at any fast food place after about 7 pm. In fact most places that serve food I'd be willing to bet is that way. Even the 24 hour highway places are that way. The only places I knew that weren't were popular diners i or near the city. But I digress. I ordered a number 1, a single burger, small fries and small drink and a frosty (for Mom.) No cheese but I forgot to ask for no mayo, oh well. They have the cyber-fountain that offers you a selection of drinks and offers a selection of flavorings to add to the drinks. If you haven't seen this thing your either going to fall in love with it or want to run away from it. It embodies the massive consumer culture that gives you so many choices that you just leave because your eyes are about to fall out of your head. Okay, that's my reaction. C loves this behemoth. It makes my Mother want to pass out. Wendy's food is generally good compared to other fast food burger joints. Their meat is real and not seriously processed like BK or Mickey Ds. They have recently changed their fries to "natural cut" which means they still have their skins on (which I like, they seem tastier, there's the possibility that there is a miniscule amount of vitamins from the skin in there and their texture is not over processed.) Honestly the sea salt sprinkled on it means nothing to me. It's salt no matter where it comes from. They have alternatives like baked potatoes or chili that set it aside from the others. They've matched the others with their salads and chicken and healthy options like apples for the kiddies. I like Wendy's a lot and prefer it over most fast food places. This place is a good place, not any worse than any other Wendy's and better than some (DO YOU HEAR THAT SILVER SPRING WENDY'S?) Oh the building, have you been to a Wendy's? It's pretty much like any other Wendy's. Seating area in front with some booths and mostly cheap tables and chairs. The counter where you order is in the back. Defies the definition of "fast" food. While still offering the same basic fare as other fast food restaurants, they manage to process one customer every ten to fifteen minutes, destroying any unitended value to standing in line here rather than sitting down to a civilized meal. Entering here as only the third person in line, my lunch break was over before I got my food. And it was lunch "rush" so you would think they would be prepared for a more appropriate turnover time. It appears they concentrate all their energy on people burning fossil fuel in the line outside and ignore those who got their butts out of their cars to eat. After ordering, the person in front of me finally got his food, and it was wrong. My food took quite a while after ordering (not a special order or anything) and when it came, it was also the wrong thing. I then had to wait while they "made" another one. To "make it up, they then gave me fries I didn't order. Well intentioned but correct order and fast service would have been better. The food I finally did get was mediocre...
