The food is good, consistent. I use a food app whenever I can, and Jersey Mike's is no exception. My gripe with this particular location is convenience/friendliness for my pickup, especially in comparison to the EG location. I usually pick these sandwiches up in a crunch or I have my very young daughter with me. Either I have to wait in line even though I'm just picking up my sandwich (it's not accessible like the EG location), or if I do the curbside pickup, I get a pretty unfriendly encounter.. makes me feel pretty awkward. If they could make their pickups more accessible or have curbside pickup not feel so.. judgy, then this place would be 4/5 stars for me. One time I waited so long for my pickup order that an employee added a free cookie, so that was thoughtful. read more

I'm not really sure where to start with Jersey Mikes. Do they have good sandwiches? Yes. But, it's always busy (which is good for them but not so good for the customers) and the service isn't very speedy. I also find it to be extremely expensive. You can't get a small sandwich for less than $10 and if you want a large, it's going to run you at least $20. In my opinion, that's a lot for a sandwich, especially when it's nowhere near a fantastic sandwich. It's good at best. The employees are typically nice enough. I'd definitely visit more if the prices weren't so high. read more

I just had the best roast beef sub, best I've had in a long time!! Who knew it would have been Jersey Mike's??!! After seeing the ads on television, and how good the sandwiches looked, I had to try it. I hadn't been to Jersey Mike's in a long time, and now I'm wondering why not!! Being a skeptic about what is seen on television vs reality, especially a chain, I was very impressed with the quality of the bread, the toppings and especially the roast beef. The wraps are so tiny in comparison to the sandwiches. Unfulfilling but honestly extremely tasty. I just don't understand why the wraps are so tiny. I've gotten them from other locations and they're small but nothing in comparison to the wrap portion sizes at this location. Kinda disappointing as I live very close to this location. I've had repeated issues with Jersey Mike's, even after switching locations, and it's clear that the problem comes down to poor training. The Warwick Avenue store in Rhode Island, in particular, consistently has an untidy counter, and the staff don't follow basic hygiene protocols. Food prep gloves should not go from the food station to the cash register and back to the food station without being changed. I'm completely disgusted by the lack of cleanliness, and after giving it multiple chances, this will be my last trip to Jersey Mike's. read more

Had an Italian grinder from here as part of the RIfood fight. It was as fresh as could be, I watched them slice the meat in front of my eyes. The toppings that came with Mike's style made the sandwich even better. We thoroughly enjoyed the sandwiches we got and were surprised as we had never tried a Jersey Mike's before. I'm not sure why I haven't stopped here before - I have been in every other shop in this odd little strip mall in the center of Apponaug. Just thinking now, if I were willing to sleep in my car, I could have all of my needs met just shopping here - the liquor store, coffee, sandwiches - and a nail set. What more do I need? After coming in here for a bite, I realize I really don't need to go anywhere else when I am craving a sub. Our drawn out kitchen renovation has resulted in me searching out good take out joints - all the better if they are within a mile of my home. I had zero expectations when walking in here which is maybe why I was so tickled pink when the fellow behind the counter started slicing my meats to order for my italian sub. I order a "mini" and glad I didn't go for the regular. It was close to a foot long and brimming with tasty sliced goodness. A good selection of custom toppings, crusty-on-the-outside-soft-on-the-inside bread, and dressing made this italian sub a freaking masterpiece. They use FRESH shredded lettuce which I feel is a must for a great italian sub. The taste? A symphony of high fat goodness on crisp bread with just enough dressing tang to get the party started. All this for just over $5? Makes it tastes even better when it's a bargain, right? I got my husband a chicken parm grinder. This was not a skimpy frozen quasi-chicken creation, but a real-deal tender chicken cutlet with just the right crispness, cheese and sauce. A stingy shared bite was all I got, but enough to affirm that he got a winner, too. A goodly size regular satisfied my man - even slowing him down with the last couple of bites. A $6 slam dunk . I took our sandwiches home, but there is ample table seating in here. The off-street parking is shared by two other stores and can get short. I came here late night and had no problem finding a spot. If you head over here during peak time, there is additional parking right behind the store. Only downside is getting in and out of this little shopping center located smack in the middle of the Appponaug rotary. That details shaves off a star for lack of convenience. But with multiple entry/exit points to get in here, I definitely think the small amount of aggravation is worth the reward of a great sub at this place. read more

This location is SUBPAR!! I use the app to order and it is never ready when it says it will be. Once I asked about my unready order and they said it was coming, but didn't start making it right away. There were no current customers and several employees were standing around. They have also forgotten my bacon on the club. The drinks situation is weird bc of COVID. I love the food (when my order is correct), but check out one of the other locations in the area. Plus there is a lot of traffic to get in/out of the parking area. Each and every time there is perfect sub after perfect sub. The service is just as perfect mostly because they know me by name and my order, of course. Even after the first day there's one girl that knew and recognize me which made me feel really special as a customer. Aweful service. Do not order online. More than once they have ignored me when I have just come to pickup an online order for more than 5 minutes. Never again. Most recently I placed an order online with a notice that my order would be ready in 15 minutes after my order time of 2pm. Arriving 20 minutes later, I was ignored for 5 minutes before saying something to the woman calling herself the manager. After telling her that my order was placed online, she said 'It's in process'. I'm fine with that much; sometimes things get backed up. From there, not only did she not ensure I was being taken care of, I saw a gentleman come into the store after me and have his order made on the spot. This is after continuing to make sandwiches for other patrons while I wait. I ordered this ahead of time because I was in a rush. The level of ignorance in the place could not be more evident after I called them out she she said 'we can't control who comes in the door'. I said that's why I ordered my sandwich half an hour ago! I have watched you make sandwiches for 5 customers since I walked in the door! I'm not sure where you come from, but when the employee tells you to 'Have a blessed day' it is way to smile and tell you to 'go f yourself'. I was in a rush, trying to feed my children. I had to leave store, with my children hungry, thinking I was making a better decision than fast food. Boy was I wrong, and insulted for it to boot. The sandwiches are good, but I will never do business with a large corporation that doesn't treat me with respect. After more than 30 minutes since my order (at 2pm) I could not wait any longer for their gross ignorance. The website billed my credit card and I asked the manager to credit my card and was told that it needs to be done through the website. Calling the number on my statement, disputes must be resolved with the store. I made multiple attempts to track down the store manager. They are here between 8 and 10. Not there at 10:30. I call the store directly. They say that she will be back later in the day, but will also return the next day and I leave my number. No return call. I have a billing dispute for the food I never received. I will continue to tell everyone i know to avoid this place. There is a ton of great places to get a sandwich around here. I stopped in tonight for a quick bite to eat, as it was convenient. I have been here several times before, but for some reason I always forget about this place. In my opinion, it is better than a Subway or D'angelos. I like the fact that the meats are not just sitting out in a container (I always wonder how long they've been sitting there collecting bacteria). Instead, it is more "deli" style, so whatever meat that will be used in your sandwich is sliced upon ordering. I really like that I can see the employees preparing the food right in front of you in their ample work space that is always impeccably clean! There was 1 person in front of me in line but it took about 10 minutes for someone to take my order. I actually counted 7 employees behind the counter and it seemed really disorganized. We did an online order to be ready at 7:57 pm on 7/26/19. Ordered a tuna mikes way with lettuce and a club sandwich mike way. Nothing crazy hard. Walked in at the time it was supposed to be ready and they did not even start on my subs. So i waited and waited watched 4 walk in customers order and walk out while i waited. So i had to ask where were my sandwiches and i receive a oh well we ran out of tuna. I finally got our food. Just a we have been busy all day. I get it but a sorry sir it will be a bit we have to make tuna. So Low and behold 30 minutes after i walked in and 55 minutes after we placed our order. A bit crazy how it was handled and on top of it all. Wrong sandwich in the bag and the tuna sandwich was made not to the order placed. I called 4 times to no answer.
