Shake Shack has excellent burgers. We frequent the Garden City, Cranston location. The building is always very cold, food doesn't stay hot at all once it's at your table. The atmosphere isn't warm to begin with. Not a fan of the fries, Five Guys has the best. But Shake Shack's burgers are better quality. read more

I ordered a shake and waited almost 25 minutes to get my order. When I asked about the delay, the counter jockeys ran around all confused like they were interacting with an alien species. Shake Shack is always good to me - The Shroom Burger is literally what dreamz are made of, and I would probably eat this every day if I could. I love that they offer the option to prepare the burgers in a lettuce wrap if you aren't feeling the full bun situation~ it's good to be able to have that healthy-ish flexibility if needed! The restaurant for the most part is clean and well maintained, though the bathrooms could use a little extra TLC. I appreciate the self-service ordering kiosks, especially since I tend to go off-menu with toppings, alternative lettuce bun, etc. Shake Shack has diversified their menu to include lots beyond just burgers, and the chicken nuggets are delish as well. Save room for the cheese fries, and of course, the vanilla frozen custard for dessert! Absolutely delish. I made a yelp account just to leave a review because this is just ABSURD. I ordered a coke zero, cheese fries with the cheese on the side, and a well done shack burger. The image shown was the cheese included with my meal. Also they put the disgusting toe fungus looking cheese on the top of my fries when i asked them not to. The shack burger was not well done and was pink in the middle. I had to throw out my entire meal and when i called the place, the manager was unreachable. DISGUSTING. read more

Our go-to Shake Shack in RI compared to other locations. Quality is consistent. Have never had any issues over multiple visits. You should be eating there so you don't wind up home with soggy buns. There is ample table space. Limited interaction with staff given self service kiosks but they have always been nice. read more

Though I love shake shack in general, this was a pretty bad visit. We stopped in for a quick burger only to end up not having our order right several times. At first I was given a veggie burger instead of my bacon cheeseburger. When I approached with the receipt and the incorrect burger, I was dismissed. I had to insist that I did not want the vegan burger and that I really would like what I ordered. (The vegan burgers are horrible). I finally got their attention and they seemed to be working on my issue. Guess it didn't register because we waited a significant amount of time for the correct order only to find out they didn't even make it. I had to approach again and this time they tried to just give me someone else's order. Third time was a charm as they finally made us the burgers we ordered... kind of... they were still wrong but close enough I guess. read more

I really wanted to try this place since hearing about it on social media and lo and behold- after taking my son to a dentist appointment in Cranston - I realized there was one located in Garden City!! My son and I each ordered burgers and we also got French fries! My son wanted the iced tea- which was frankly disgusting & I ordered a mini milkshake- which was good but next time I'm getting a bigger size! We really enjoyed the food and we both ate all of our meals! I'm usually not a French fry person & neither is my son- but we both really enjoyed them. Finally went to try Shake Shack with my daughter. If you're on the quest for the perfect burger joint, Shake Shack might not be your holy grail. While their burgers didn't quite pass the test, the rest of the experience was fun. Even though we placed our order ourselves, the staff did bring it over to our table. My daughter also enjoyed her dragon fruit lemonade! The place was clean and filled with a youthful crowd! I may not go back for a burger but I will definitely check it out again to try their shakes!! read more

I am never eating Shake Shack ever again. It needs to be closed. Their cheese sauce is not good they always over cook it they never did that. One of the worker told me said they over cook it that's why it looks like it's chunky. So he gave me 5 new ones and when I looked it again it was the same F****** thing again. The store was empty at 11:40AM, surprising. The staff was friendly and accommodating; the store was spotlessly clean. The shake was very good; the burger tasted fine but was really undersized, more a snack than a lunch. Tried the spicy chicken, pretty much the same as the burger good but small. French fries underwhelming. Good burgers are getting harder to find, but real good chicken sandwiches are easy to find, as in Chick-Fil-A. My real hang up thus the sub par rating, was the price, ridiculous! Small chicken sandwich and burger, two shakes, fries and ice tea, $44.89 including the now mandatory tip. In two months, I have visited Shake Shack six times, always for lunch around 11 AM. Only twice was the burger made the way I requested. I never believed it was that difficult to make a cheeseburger with pickles and onions only. At Shake Shack it is. There never seems to be any supervision at this location. Employees are unable to correctly input the order into the register/computer. You can tolerate higher prices if the food taste good and the order is correct. read more
