This location locked their doors too early. I go in the evening during the week at 8 pm and the doors are locked. I go there on a Sunday afternoon at 1:30 and the doors are locked. One of the worst drive-thru experiences I've had in a long time. I waited over 10 minutes just to tell someone I was there for a mobile order, only to be greeted with "Yes?!" and "Yep?!" in an incredibly rude tone. After another long wait, I got to the window and my food was basically thrown at me before the window was slammed shut. I was polite the entire interaction, so the attitude was completely unnecessary. To make matters worse, my order was wrong. My burger was cold, and instead of the Cinnabon pull-apart with extra icing I ordered, I received an old piece of sausage. If I could give zero or negative stars I would. Undeniably the worst Wendy's location I have ever been to. There is always an issue here. Cash only , Card only, soda flat, waiting at the drive through window for excessive amounts of time, no straw, no condiments, you name it, it's happened. The only reason I continue to patronise this location is the fact that they are open at after 10pm when I'm on my way home from work and I'm starving. Started a collection of dips, napkins, straws and ketchup packets in my glovebox because you never know what they will leave out. This place is an absolute joke. Wow, this place is impressive. Could be the worst service I've ever seen anywhere, and I've traveled all over the world. Countries were no one cares about Customer Service. By my watch, I stood in front of an empty register, in a restaurant with one person inside, and literally no one in the drive-through. Six employees, including what appeared to be two managers. Went to the Wendy's in Whiting NJ, on my way to AC. Went thru the drive thru. When I went to place my order, I was told they would only take cash. Great, I didn't have a credit card. Placed my order. Got up to the window, with exact cash, was told there they only take credit cards something's wrong with cash draws. Told them I have exact cash, what's the problem. I decided to take a quick stop at a Wendy's and this was the closest one, I take my order and everything was going swell. UNTIL my order was complete and they threw/slid my order towards me on the table, then my fries spilt all over my bag. I went to sit down and that is when I noticed the detached bench, then I opened my bag and saw and UNWRAPPED burger. I opened it even more and the bun looked crusty, then I opened it to take out the tomato and noticed the LETTUCE, barely existent, imagine a veggie fry. I ordered food from this Wendys's near me and I didn't receive an item that I ordered. I called and spoke to one of the nicest managers I ever got on the phone with. She explained that they were out of the item that I ordered and that's why she enclosed a couple of coupons for me that I didn't realize was still in the bag. The food I did get was perfect. Went to the whiting location yesterday as my mom wanted to get a simple junior cheeseburger meal and a junior frosty. My mom sat at the intercom for almost 10 mins before someone actually came to take her order. The girl speaking through the intercom was so rude. Cut my mother off after every other word with "okay, that it", "okay, you done?". My mother had to repeat her order 3 times to the girl bc she just wasn't listening and wasn't giving her a chance to speak fully. Of course as we pull up to the second window she's just laughing and goofing off with her coworker and not paying any attention. Witnessed her give the people behind us a bad attitude as well. Treated her customers like they were an inconvenience and OF COURSE, my moms order was wrong and half was missing. Tried to go inside and fix it, and they had both doors LOCKED, despite the sign saying FULLY OPEN AND FUNCTIONAL. I tried calling inside and NO ANSWER. Small mistakes on orders happen, but when it's due to your employees not giving a crap about their job, then I'm very upset. This girl had a nasty attitude, didn't pay attention, and made it impossible to fix my moms order unless you wanted to sit behind another 12 cars. Last week I decided to stop at a nearby fast food, Wendy's. I watched the add about the BiggyBag for $5.00, where one a baconburger, 4 nuggets, french fries and a drink....WRONG! First of all, I usually don't take a drink, but was told I had to order a drink, so I was given a choice of coke or smoothie, I said, "ok smoothie".....When I asked for the price they quoted $7.00+. I said, " I thought it was $5.00". Oh, they said the drink is a separate price, again I said that I didn't want a drink...They insisted that the only way I could get that special was to order the drink. Not only does their Ad on TV include a drink when they quote $5.00, their Ad on Internet website also includes the drink...False Advertisement! Terrible, I worked at this place and all everyone would do is talk no working just talk, if you go to this place and the line is long that's why. Trust me that's what everyone does. While working here I have seen a kid spit in someone's sandwich, Nasty , while working here for about six months it makes me think different when I think of buying fast food. In the restaurant there is mold on the walls and they still have people eat inside, and there are other things that aren't that bad as those things that I said. also if you think of working here just don't, they mess up all of you pay checks and won't give you the rest until you tell them that your going to sue them if they don't pay you the money that your supposed to get. Stopped at the Wendy's in Whiting, NJ today. I ordered a salad. I stopped getting salads their a couple of years ago because they weren't that great. Today I got it to have for dinner. This salad was the best I had in a very long time. It was a full size pecan salad. It was perfect. As long as the salads are this good, I will be stopping their more often. Outstanding!!!
