This is the best JMikes in the area by far. Yea maybe they get the bread wrong but the bacon is consistently cooked to a crisp, the lettuce is fresh, and the tomato's and onions are cut to perfection. No other Jersey Mikes in the area cooks their bacon like this and that's a huge part of a BLT. Update to my last review. Went in today again to get a couple of subs. Delicious as always. However, we were in the adjacent liquor store for smokes and we saw the aforementioned man who was rude last time, buying two vodka nips or mini bottles and go back to work at Jersey Mike's. He went in the back and came out putting his apron back on. This guy must routinely drink on the job and explains his poor behavior. Perhaps management needs to take a look into this. read more

Stopped here for the first time to grab an order for co-workers. Shop was clean but empty, which for me is kind of odd, since the location I frequent is always hoppin'. Staff was polite and packed up the order quickly, sandwiches were tasty and stacked high as you expect them to be. We recently picked up some subs for lunch with friends. How embarrassing because the subs were horrible! Bread was not fresh and meats were bad quality. Roast beef was over cooked and dried out. I went into Jersey Mike's and unfortunately they had run out of bread, the staff apologized and I moved on. Fast forward a week later , I stopped in to grab subs for the family beach day. As soon as I walk in the staff had remembered me from the previous week and said "hey we have bread today , and sorry for last week. Now I rarely go there because my wife usually goes their , so I was very impressed they remembered me. So I get the subs and several bags of chips and they tell chips are on the house and apologize again for last week. LOVE, LOVE, and LOVE this sub shop! Once you eat at a Jersey Mike's sub shop its almost impossible to be fully satisfied with any other! The staff is so kind and talkative! Makes you feel so welcomed from the moment you walk in! I have only eaten at the Jackson one a handful of times, but in my opinion they are one of the best. I prefer the cute blonde girl when it comes to putting on the toppings on my sub and the curly haired guy to slice the meats and cheese, but they alternate every time. The prices are a little over the top, but the subs are too good to event think to care about that! Definitely will continue to eat at the Jackson Jersey Mike's instead of the Howell one! If you go to a Jersey Mike's Sub Shop you have to try the cherry pepper relish! Never tasted anything like it! read more

Way overpriced! They charged me almost $7.oo for the equivalency of a can of tuna and some lettuce in a container. Then charged $2.50 for a drink anywhere else that is $1.99. The food is mediocre at best. I used to work at a deli that for $7.oo got you a monster sub with everything on it. Corporate and franchised companies are bs. No reason to charge so much.
