Not as bad as those one star reviews say, but not the best Wendy's either. Dave's double is a bit smaller, less filling than Burger King's double Whopper. Tastes OK but I still prefer the Whoppers across the street. Price wise actually $13.39 combo a bit higher than BK, $12.99? Also, no Diet Coke, only the soapy tasting Coke Zero. Absolute asshole running the restaurant at this time. My girlfriend and I were trying to get some food after a flight. I go in and order and am greeted promptly by the crew members working. They say someone will be with me when they are available. Took around 5 minutes, no big deal. I say I'm not in a big rush. Manager shows up and takes my order. We have some small talk and things seem cordial enough. He says it will be right up. I'm also the only customer in there. There are no posted closed hours for the dining room expect on maps, which says when the restaurant closes at 2. He ends up locking the doors and I keep waiting for my food 22 minutes go by and he just comes and sits out in the sitting area with us. We ended up leaving with no food. They were not that busy, that took care of plenty of drive thru cars quickly enough, but ours was over 20 minutes and they couldn't manage it? Piss poor run store. read more

Slow. Drive thru only takes one order at a time and does not take the next order until the customer has paid and gotten their food. The smell coming out of the window can only be described as "dumpster juice". 23 minutes to get a single burger? Food is good but not fast and an hour later I still can't get the smell out. read more

Used the mobile app and paid for it through the app. When I got to the window they didn't have the chili I ordered. Cashier said she would try and fix it at her end. I was still charged for it and I've called and they won't send a credit to my card. They want me to drive there and get chili. That's just wrong! read more

I bought a key tag so I could try a different frosty as they came out. I have never had a problem until today. Today I am told that I can't have the girl scout one because they wouldn't make a profit off of it. Now $3 for a year of frosty's your not making a profit off of that keytag. What you do make is off all the other food and drinks that I buy when I go there, so for the little bit of difference between that and a "normal" frosty, you are going to take the chance on losing a customer and to have a bad review because of it. Telling a customer it's not worth it because we won't make a profit is just unprofessional and there is no where that I see that it says you can't have a certain type of frosty. I hope that this will be fixed because I am more upset at the principal of it, and we can't upsell on free items was another statement made to me. All in all it ruined my visit. read more

I visited shortly after midnight. I was there for the rush that they should have expected. I ordered there featured item, the one from the commercials, jalapeño fries. They ran out of the cheese. I feel as though you should order more than you need and hope everyone orders one so you don't have too much left over when they start promoting the new item. I ordered a frosty instead. When I get to the window the frosty machine just broke, spitting out liquid. I gave 3 stars because the individuals that work there were apologetic and kind. Ordered 2 biggie bags & the cashier was already condescending and ready to get me out the line. I open the bag and I have only 3 nuggets when it's supposed to be 4. The nuggets were also cold like they weren't fresh. I guess they have some rule where it's 1 sauce per bag? I had to pay extra for 3 more sauces smh. Last night I came into Hartford/Windsor Locks at around 12:30 & just about everything was closed except this place, which is down the street from my hotel. I ordered the new grilled chicken sandwich combo, which hit the spot! The strawberry lemonade was perfect & although I shouldn't even had fries, they were fresh & good, but a tad bit on the salty side. That can be attributed to the fact that I haven't been adding salt to my food, & not necessarily a flaw in their fries. I went for the first time and I will NOT be going back. they forgot our order about 5 times and even still were missing items. and when you tried to tell them they forgot food they had an attitude and seemed annoyed at the fact they had to bring out the right food. Just picked up a southwestern avocado salad with grilled chicken from the drive through. The greens in the salad were not just wilted, but they were slimy with decomposing lettuce that had turned into a dark slimy mess. I think this was the Wendy's we went to... Ok, they had a promotion - get a combo after 9pm and get a free frosty. However, they didn't offer it to us until after we ordered and noticed the signs sitting around. And then the kid behind the counter seemed confused, but he gave us free stuff. Regularly messes up orders ranging from forgetting items or wrong ingredients. Make sure to ask for any mess ups to be remade completely. They will try to use the same food and just change your issue with it. read more

The slowest Wendy's in the country. You can fly to Philadelphia out of Bradley with a delay and make it back before you get your meal.

I came here on my lunch break at work and I've never waited longer at a drive thru before in my life. I was late to get back to work and Wendy's only had 1 other car in the drive thru and barely anyone inside. Either they need more staff or they need better staff. Horrible horrible.
