This establishment is amazing! Small and quaint with amazing drinks and food! The staff and owners are fabulous and it's great to see them all make an appearance in the dining room. I had a delicious s'mores martini and their beef Wellington! Would highly recommend! In fact cannot wait to return to try their scallops and risotto! Oh and I taste tested their French onion soup and OMG! Sooo delicious.

All these years...and still my favorite north shore chef the chips have become a family's favorite that we share every time. We've never had a bad meal, or dessert. Always delightful service, and the tea house setting is so cozy. In the summer they have outside seating as well. Not an easy time to staff a restaurant but they're making it work. H looking forward to next trip home!

Love it here. The service is great and they keep it very traditional which I loved. They also offer bubbles and add on shot to your tea which they select based on the tea variety you've chosen. Each person gets their own individual tea pot and they definitely keep on top of refilling the hot water

We had such a lovely time here coming for afternoon tea. First off, our waitress was so kind and walked us through the menu, giving us suggestions on tea selections. And these selections were amazing! We highly highly recommend trying the Paris or the Spicy Chai, both full of flavor and just a truly comforting cup of tea. We preferred to add milk and sugar to ours, but was definitely fine on its own for those who like their tea more simple. The afternoon tea spread was absolutely delicious. The scones came out warm from baking and all the sandwiches were cute and tasty- my favorite being the ham salad. They were super accommodating to my but allergy and adjusted the desserts to be nut free. The entire experience was just a breath of fresh air. I loved our table by the window where we got to look out to the terrace and street. I really just can't wait to be back!!

First time here and my experience was amazing. Not only was the food delicious, fresh and fast, the staff was exceptional. Our waitress Amy was amazing!! Will definitely be back.

Came in on a Sunday at noon and was sat immediately. This establishment has a very nice ambience and is good for large parties (saw a group of 10 ladies have Sunday tea). The scones are deceptively filling - according to the new owners, the scones are intentionally smaller based on feedback. The scones are delicious and I could have eaten the clotted cream by itself. Note that the 'pot of tea for two' can easily be enough for 3 - 4 people. The omelet was very fluffy - note the plate was very hot so be careful. I liked the quiche - especially the crust. Apparently the tea house is the oldest consecutively running tea house in the country, going strong at 100 years. Under new management for the past two months; if they are running this well at two months, I look forward to going back.

Absolutely amazing food, literally the best eggs Benedict I've ever tasted in my entire life. Such nice service, gift shop, exterior, interior. I mean why wouldn't you come here. Anyone leaving a negative review is just looking for something negative to say.... I cannot express how delicious and unique the food is here. Amy is a gem, so sociable and sweet!! This place is a hole in the wall, you have to try this place out!!! A great date idea, great for family's too. Remember to make a reservation for brunch on Sundays ONLY from 9-2pm to get a taste of heaven or 2:30-4:30 Friday & Saturday's ONLY for Tea Time!! :)

We went for the Friday night dinner. It was only the third week that they did it. It was outstanding. We will be back very soon.

First I waited months for an…read moreestimate (no big deal because I had plenty of time) and then when I got the estimate I questioned one of the prices to see if we could do something different and I never heard back. Here is the thing...In my email I explicitly said "what can you do for "x" amount of money?" I then went on to say "if there is nothing you can do that is fine and I understand". I worked in the design industry for years and my pet peeve was people who wanted the world but didn't want to pay for it. I wasn't asking for that, I was asking for options. To never even respond is completely unprofessional. So, in the final hours I found a different place and only ordered what I knew I couldn't DIY - a corsage and two bouttoniares. This new place treated me like I had just given them a million dollar contract. They wanted me to be perfectly satisfied and they told me so. I felt so "seen" and respected. They asked if I was going to have a bouquet and I said I was but that I was going to attempt to make it myself. Thinking they'd be horrified and I'd never hear from them, like Singing Flower, they said "Oh, you can totally make your own! Especially the kind you are describing." Well, I went ahead and did just that and what I made with my friend was STUNNING and affordable. I will be forever grateful to this other flower shop and I will sing their praises. True professionals in every sense. What Singing Flower doesn't realize is that the company I work for requires the use of floral services and they spend tens of thousands a year. I don't have a lot of money to spend on flowers, but they do, and now I can recommend this other floral shop for their needs. You should treat everyone equally regardless of budget because it is the right thing to do AND you never know who THEY know.

Went for mothers day…read more Tea: 2/6 people liked their tea. Mine reminded me of soap. It was something lavender. The berry one was a favorite, the green tea pomegranate was a full miss. Food (savory course): I told the server I was vegetarian. She told me that they would bring out extra vegetarian sandwiches, which they did not do. I was stuck there eating bread with a sliver of cucumber (too thin for a crunch) a thin swipe of cream cheese, and one to two flattened micro green sprouts in there. I was hungry and the other sandwiches looked great. Dessert 1 (scone course): Didnt recognize it. they gave us a dry lemon scone with a heck of a lot of icing on top. No cream, no butter, one factory processed jar of strawberry jam. Nothing to ease into the desserts. Dessert 2 (sweet course): All horribly sweet. Madeline was dry and had a hunk of chocolate or something on top. Not at all what I expect a Madeline to be (oven-fresh) and again too sweet. Petit fours: they somehow did this one well. Cream puff: winner. elderflower in this was excellent and it was light fluffy and fresh. Chocolate lumps: no one ate this. Macarons: too sweet. Almond one everyone but my dad hated. The purple one we thought was overly sweet without much flavor but was better than the almond. Chocolate ball with raspberry: intense flavor, pretty good, not sure what was up with the sprinkles. Honestly this is the second time I've been unimpressed, and after the staff fully disconnecting with the kitchen/customer I dont think I'll be back.
