Solid breakfast! Glad we found this place on our way home from New Hampshire... I ordered the western omelet and it was everything an omelet should be: large, overstuffed and very cheesy! The home fries were also delicious. My husband ordered the "pancake sandwich," expecting something that resembled a sandwich, but it was just regular pancakes with bacon & eggs piled on top of each other. Stopped in for breakfast on the way out of Mass. Cute restaurant, very clean and inviting. Waitress was friendly and they have a lot of good options. I had three eggs with toast, potatoes and bacon. Ili's Cafe - we have been going here for years, on a weekly basis. We have heard the owner/cook talk terribly to the staff many times but we have never dealt with it directly. Until today. We ate in, and also ordered two meals for take out. One of the meals was a chicken kabob wrap. We asked for a simple substitute of fried chicken instead of grilled. When we got home, it was a completely different wrap. So we called. The owner/cook called me back and told me that fried chicken is on a different sandwich so that is what she gave us. Even though it was not what we ordered. It had completely different ingredients on it, and was nothing like the sandwich order that we placed. She refused to give us a new sandwich unless I ordered and paid for a new one. First off, not our mistake. Second, if a substitution was not allowed, they should have told us. They should never have given us a completely different order than what we asked for. And the way she spoke to us on the phone was horrendous. We feel sorry for the wait staff, they do a wonderful job. read more

As the regulars were walking in, the staff was greeting them by name and getting their orders ready. Place is super clean! Waitress was very pleasant and made me feel like I was sitting at her table. No mask required and tables are not so socially distanced. It is a nice morning so the front doors are open. So a little cooler for my taste when trying to eat breakfast but I left my sweatshirt on.
