I researched smaller independent companies in the Fort Lauderdale area. I hoped to receive more personalized service and created a short list. I made phone calls and inquired about computer replacement and configuration. When I called BBM Tech Computer Solutions the call was immediately answered by Brandon Mannie. I explained what I desired. He asked questions about the functions used on the computer. He listened and told me he would send me an eMail explaining hardware options in addition to options and suggestions. Immediately I made my decision to work with Brandon and BBM. We talked. I made a hardware decision. A acceptable bill of charges was presented to me. I agreed and the desktop replacement was initiated. I happily paid the deposit requested and Brandon acquired the new desktop computer. Off site he then preformed the necessary software loading and configurations. At the agreed upon date and time, Brandon arrived with the new hardware. He seriously worked moving the files from the old desktop to the new. He made sure the applications, profiles, related data and other necessary items were on the new computer and working properly. This computer exchange also included moving from Windows10 to Windows11. Brandon described some of the differences and was patience with the questions I had about this new operating system. I am most impressed by the professionalism and skills I experienced by BBM. I was encouraged to call them if I ever have questions. They are willing to do post installation support. Like I mentioned above, after more decades in the IT business, I am most impressed by BBM . If you have a computer issue or need to upgrade your system, contact this company and you will not be disappointed. I admit that I seldom recommend things from books to restaurants to motion pictures to anything, BUT I wholeheartedly will recommend BBM Tech Computer Solutions. Then I found this hidden gem in Hollywood, Fl: The Tech Shop! There's no hidden fees and the person who owns the store is a great person. He took my computer and told me he'll call me about what's needed. Without a diagnostic fee, he told me what needed to be done. Then in only a day, the computer was fixed. My computer has been working great ever since. Turns out it was something simple as a BIOS update and a clean-up. However, there were no hidden fees and the price was great. Heck, I would even pay more if he had asked. I would recommend this store to anyone who has issues with his/her computer and want to avoid spending as much as a new computer.
