One of the best, if not the best, customer service experiences in tech I've ever had. And I'm talking about 30 years of experience, from having people fix my Nintendo 64, through burning CDs and CD-ROMs, to the age of the high speed CPU and super fast graphics cards. When I went to Ready2Tek I didn't know exactly what to expect. Apple recommended them and they were closer than any Apple Store, so I took my chances. My father's computer somehow got fried during a lighting storm, and immediately Ari and Carlos, one of the techs who works there, got on the case. They first tried to fix it on the spot, but when the parts they had on hand were not compatible they stepped up to the plate, and decided to keep the computer over night. And over night it was, it was the fastest turn around I've ever experienced. Additionally, the quality of their work shows. The computer is running wonderfully. Believe the 1 star reviews ! Just as all of the other reviews this was listed on apple & I also gave them a try . He had my AirPods for 3 days . He didn't follow up I called no answer when I finally got an answer on the 3rd day he told me he would just begin testing to see why it wouldn't connect and to give him 30 mins to a hour . I gave him 2 hours . I arrived at the store and it said back in 15 he did not return for a hour and a half. When he finally returned he couldn't give me an answer or show me the diagnosis of what was happening and stated " because he didn't have the time " I end up coming home and figuring out why it didn't connect and the issue using chat gpt . Avoid this place at all cost I dropped off my headphones on June 11th .. I have called and text every single day. I have yet to been given any response on the status. I have gone to this location three times. Due to never getting a response back from this business, I have now had to open up a police case.... I needed a new battery for my 13 Pro Max . It was diagnosed at 72 % and needed to be replaced . I brought it in and spoke to Ari . He did not have the battery but expected them in in 3-5 days. Ari was very nice and I called the store in about 10 days and Ari was not there but a very gruff voice told me they don't work on 13 models and don't have any battery's on order. I made an appointment with Apple for the next day at Galleria in Ft. Laud . 1 hour or so later Zoom had my phone back with a new battery. I think it was $90 . I will never , ever consider any one else but Apple to do my repairs . Apple has standards that independent stores don't have. read more

When I saw this local business was on the Apple list of authorized service providers, I thought it would be smart to avoid the Aventura Mall Apple Store. I like patronizing small businesses whenever I can. I took my cracked screen iPad in for Apple Care replacement. They told me Apple would ship my replacement iPad and it should take about 3 business days. No iPad for two weeks and didn't have any information about what was happening. I ended up talking to Apple, going over and picking up my cracked iPad and driving to the Aventura Mall. Two days later, I had my new iPad. I don't know why the process was so different. I also made the mistake of not looking at these reviews before going there. I trusted Apple would select a provider that would work out well. Again, I don't know what happened or why. They were apologetic, but not proactive in communicating with me, even after I drove back in person to see what was going on. Maybe it's a problem with Apple's processes. After reviewing the setup on my phone he quickly determined the issue and made the changes required and I was on my way with a fixed phone . Extremely disappointed with this service. The technician was not serious or professional--my time felt completely disrespected. I scheduled an appointment and after having me wait for 2 hours told me to leave and they were going to call me never got a call back or text only when i try or reach out. There was a complete lack of urgency or courtesy, and the issue with my phone was not addressed. If you value your time and expect professionalism, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. The READY2TEK on Sterling Rd. DON'T take your device here for repairs. It's been almost 2 weeks since I've heard from these people when the job (screen replacement) was supposed to be done. Part was supposed to show up in a day or two and the install doesn't take more than an hour. I have received NO COMMUNICATION from these people. They have no value for keeping the customer informed even when the due date for the service is GROSSLY over extended. I probably wouldn't be mad enough to write this review if they actually cared enough to communicate. THEY DON'T answer or return calls. This is beyond infuriating. If you value your time and transparency with people you PAY do NOT come here. Update: I finally spoke with the owner and told him I wasn't happy with their service. He agreed with me to give a discount, shook my hand and everything. He only agreed because I told him I wanted a refund and my laptop back because of how long the screen replacement was taking. Ari took excellent care of me and went above and beyond in every way! Took care of my hard drive issues, and fixed my screen crack and my computer is like brand new! I also mentioned I was looking for a Home Depot around to get some nails, and he went in to the back and brought me a bag of as many as I wanted. A little gesture like that goes to show just how far this business is willing to go to take care of their customers. This place is top notch. True professionals. Brought my phone here over a month ago and I still have not gotten it. IF YOU HAVE APPLE CARE DO NOT GO HERE. It's like they purposely hold your phone hostage if you have apple care. I contacted him last week and says he's waiting for parts and to call apple. I called apple and they said it was going to be delivered the next day. Hard to believe this qualifies as an Apple Service Provider. I had an appointment at 9:20AM. A small line was forming as I walked up just past 9:00. Ready2Tek was not quite ready to tech! Nobody was there to open the store at 9:00. When I finally got my turn, I was told, "we don't deal with iPads. We will send it off for repairs". Thanks a lot. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE ! 0/10. Took my MacBook in for a simple battery replacement, which cost me $250. When I got it back, the speakers were no longer working--an issue that wasn't there before. I asked them to fix it, as they caused the problem. After keeping my computer for about a month, I finally got it back, only for it not to turn on at all. I took my MacBook in because it was stuck on an update, I explained my problem and was told that they were going to restart my computer and the cost of that was $99 I had to pay a deposit which was $75 and that would count towards the $99. they call me 5 days later telling me that, that is not the problem my computer has. When I went to pick it up I was told they can't refund me my money although they fixed nothing on my computer. They returned it to me the same way I took it. Save yourself. Go to the apple store. I just had a broken phone screen and for some reason apple recommended this location as an authorized dealer. First they took my phone to "run tests". I've never heard of that before. Then they tried to overcharge me by $50. Then it took 45 mins to change the screen. I've had 3 phone screens and it never takes more than 15 minutes. It's been a couple of months since Ariel and his team (Xavier, Marco Polo, etc.) have fixed me computer (I tried installing Catalina myself and my computer died the next morning.) Since all the Apple stores were shut down during the COVID quarantine, Apple referred me to Ready2Tek. They are a HIDDEN GEM in Doral who I highly recommend. They made the whole process easy and even offered a loaner computer to use while my computer was getting repaired. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with their service. I can't believe the terrible and uncaring attitude I got when I call this company. The guy I spoke with talked down to me like I was an idiot. He told me for any repairs I would have to leave my MacBook Pro for 4-8 days to repair and get internal hard drive parts, BEFORE HE WOULD LET ME TELL HIM WHAT MY PROBLEM WAS! Sadly this place is considered an apple support location. My laptop just shut off and went on a black screen, after calling apple support they told me it's probably something that unplugged internally. So I rushed to the first available apple support location that had a same day appointment. Once I got there they told me it would be $70 to diagnose the laptop and it will take 2-3 days... but if I wanted to be diagnose within 2 hours it would be $150. I explained what apple said and ask them if they could simply see if they have a new charger in store to see if maybe my charger was messed up or if they can open the back and maybe see if my battery disconnected internally. He said no... "we need to diagnose it but seems like it's the battery" I asked how much a battery would be.... "Around $400". He also mentioned if you take that laptop to apple they won't even look at you it's old, (2016) I took it to apple within 5 mins it was fixed free of charge. read more

I went to see what was wrong with MacBook. They were friendly and they told me it would be a $60 diagnostic fee. I was a little shocked. I asked the employees there if the Apple store usually charges that since this is an authorized dealer on the Apple website. They told me "yes" apple charges as well. I left my computer airbook 9:00 am Thursday morning. I had an issue with the battery it was not working properly. I was told it would take 1 to 2 days. I called late Friday and they had not even looked at the computer. I called. Monday afternoon to check on it. The person that answered told me they were running diagnostic so I said good the battery is working now then? Then he realized he messed up and said no they had it in the bench ready to work on it. He was totally lying. I said I was coming to pick it up. I came and they said they will not refund me but I could pick it up. They did give me a refund at the end. Woke up on Thursday morning and my iPhone XR wouldn't turn on. Already stressing from the situation I google Apple certified places and Ready2Tek was by far the best decision I chose. They told me they had to mail in my phone and gave me a replacement for $10. The next morning they had already ordered me a new phone that was ready for pickup. Don't waste your time. I came here yesterday after making an appointment through Apple's website to have them checkout my Airpods (which are still under warranty). They told me that they would take them for a few days and "run an analysis" on them. Once complete, they'd give me a call. I was on board until they told me that even if they found that the issue with my airpods was a defect (meaning not my fault), they could only replace one aspect of the airpods. So they could only replace the left airpod, the right airpod, or the box. This made absolutely no sense to me. Especially since my issue was with both airpods. I decided not to give them my headphones and instead try my luck with Apple. I took my airpods to Apple this morning and they replaced them within 5 minutes. No analysis. I just let them know what the issue was and they replaced them. After talking to them for a bit, they let me know that there is actually no way for them to run an analysis! There is no way to take apart the headphone to see what's going on! So the people at Ready2Tek straight up lied to me. I let the Apple employee know what I was told at Ready2Tek, and he had no idea what they were talking about. Don't waste your time there. Just go to Apple. Way better customer support. read more
