Very honest and smart mechanic. Fixed car quickly and cheaply after mice damaged wiring. I wish the wait hadn't been so long though.

We went ahead with a transaxle rebuild because of its poor driving quality when I brought it in, and then spent the next two months dealing with one issue after another, trying to find the right parts (because old PT Cruiser), trying to outsmart an onboard computer that had clearly lost its mind, basically everything that Murphy's Law could throw at this vehicle. Throughout it all, Brett and his guys absolutely went out of their way to be super fair, understanding, and communicative every step of the way. In the end, there was one issue that they weren't able to diagnose, again being very upfront about it, and Brett had me do a testdrive with them to see if it was acceptable or if I wanted them to keep working on it. Since the car was running WAY better than before I'd brought it in, I gave them my stamp of approval. This could easily have been a very negative situation, but because of how reasonable and professional Brett and his team were, I'll continue to rely on them for anything related to any transmission going forward!

In addition, Brett made the process less stressful with his kindness and humor. This is the second time I've had this same repair done. The first time, it was done at a different shop. After that repair, the pickup was a little difficult in shifting (a 5-speed manual transmission), but slowly smoothed out; but after about 3 - 4 years, the same problem started to show up again! Looking back on it, I wasn't confident with that first repair, thinking I shouldn't have occasional rough shifting afterwards. Now, this second time around, the shifting is as smooth and solid as it was when I bought the vehicle. I know it was done right! Thank you Brett and everyone! You certainly have a loyal customer here, and I would highly recommend Jerry's to anyone.

The guy at Transolutions said "well If I knew it was for sale, I would have bought it! I might go over and outbid you, haha". Too bad they weren't joking. I had already made an agreement to purchase the vehicle from the daughter who had it listed. The mother has dementia and didn't know or remember that her daughter told her that she already agreed to sell it to me. Brian went over right away and convinced the mother to sell it to him. He had to have gotten the keys and Title from their friend who had already agreed to meet with me a few days later. Clearly he felt the need to hurry and go buy it as soon as possible before I had the chance to wrap things up. He knew full well that he wouldn't have even known it was for sale unless I had called Transolutions asking about it. According to him, he said "if anyone's in line before me to buy it, sell it to them", but the granny didn't remember that her daughter already told her it was sold. I pointed out to Brian that he was literally going against his own word, and his response was that it was "God's will". I asked Brian if he was a good God-fearing Christian, and he said "of course!". Sorry Brian, but I really don't think Jesus would approve of your slimy behavior. If someone is willing to act like this as an individual, I doubt they'll have any integrity in running a business. Unless you want to support a lying, shady dirtbag, then I guess go ahead. Be sure to ask him about his very godly christian values when you see him!

The first…read moretime was probably about 10 years ago when they first opened and we had the oil changed in our car. Most recently, we brought our 2017 vehicle in to have the air conditioner fixed. We had hit a deer while driving home from Yellowstone National Park in August 2020. We were told from out insurance company that because of the front bumper and hood damage, we had to take it to Russ's Auto Body. Russ's Auto Body installed a new condenser and told us all the work they did would be covered under warranty for 2 years. A few months ago it stopped getting cold and started making a sound like something was leaking. We took it back to Russ's and it was like pulling teeth to get them to look at it again. They insisted it had to have been something else and not what they had done. We immediately left there and made an appointment at Meineke to have them diagnose the problem. Sure enough, the problem was the o-rings on the condenser were not lined up properly, causing the gas to leak out. We never told Meineke anything about what was fixed previously at Russ's, yet they correctly diagnosed the issue. We took that information back to Russ's where they honored the warranty and supposedly fixed it. That was just a few months ago. In the last month or so, we had noticed the air conditioning would make a noise and was not getting cold. My husband and I both agreed to just take it to Meineke even though it would have still been under warranty at Russ's. It just wasn't worse the hassle. We made an appointment at Meineke and it only took them a couple hours to not only fix the issue, but to get it working better than before. All their staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Sam at the front counter was a huge help and is always so pleasant to talk to. Their prices are fair and they all-around are great to do business with. I highly recommend!

This is the second time I've stopped by, I've been looking for a good mechanic in town that won't treat me differently just because I'm a girl. I finally found A Plus Automotive and asked about my AC for my car. Got a quote, and eventually made the appointment. They were quick to get me some cool air again, and kept very close to the original quote they gave me. They also went above and beyond in the little things. My cars back bumper had been falling off and I had paid another mechanic (in my search) to fix it only for it to break again quickly. They reattached the bumper for me without me asking and I also noticed they cleaned off the dashboard from dust. Small things yes, but to me they were big things and showed that they pay attention to detail and take pride in their work. Thanks you so much guys! I'll definitely be coming back with my future car needs. Edit: they just propped the bumper on and it fell off pretty soon after.

I then took my mini Cooper into them two weeks ago to fix an oil leak and they forgot to replace my struts which caused the noise which was one of the reasons I brought it in. When I went back to ask about it the guy said they forgot and bring it back in and it would be $125. The next day I brought it in and when I picked it up he told me it was $195 and he was only charging me for parts. That was line number one. When I drove off the noise was still there and even worse than before and when I called to complain I was told I needed another car put underneath the car and I asked him what the hell I paid $200 in the first place if that wasn't gonna fix the problem that I initially reported. These guys are shit and dishonest and I will never go there again and I will continue to tell people that they need to stay away from them.
