I got a leather love seat and leather chair with an ottoman. After I got it home, it had cheaply made legs with some not screwed in correctly. That's on me for not inspecting them more. ONE STAR FOR THE DELIVERY COMPANY THAT THEY USED. I scheduled a delivery, then they changed it twice to accommodate their schedule. When they did come, they came 30 minutes early and I couldn't make it home in time. My son had to pay them. The store is less than 10 minutes from my house. They charged $100/hour. When they delivered, the men insisted on $300. I called the owner for a receipt. She wouldn't call me back. They saw a chance to be dishonest and they took it. And, the legs had scrapes and damage that I'm sure wasn't there before.

Great customer service! And the price for pottery is fair - less than a few other locations we had looked at (e.g., Miguel's Imports; different review for that despicable man). The fountain was still expensive (~$500), but it is great quality and adds such a wonderful ambiance and beauty to our courtyard. DDs also carries a variety of imported furnishings, a very large selection of talavera, Mexican-inspired kitchenware, etc. We have been back several times since our initial shop to purchase various items over the past 8 months. Lots to look at! The people at Desert Dreams are really nice and helpful. If you can't find exactly what you're looking for at their store they will see if they can order it for you or won't even hesitate to recommend one of their competitors if need be. Highly recommend. She offered no on the spot ideas, and was relatively quiet. She took photos, told me that she had a big project wrapping up in July and wouldn't be able to get to me until then. I said that was fine but I was really looking forward to her help. Y'all, I never heard from her again. So disappointed. I will likely still shop there myself, but it's unfortunate that this business didn't want my project, or apparently my budget.

On May 16, 2022, we purchased a Fairfield recliner at Decorum and paid an exorbitant amount of…read moremoney for it, expecting a top quality piece of leather furniture from a high-end store such as Decorum. On October 10, 2022, the chair stuck in the recline position and would not go down. What followed was a five-week experience with Decorum that was at the least frustrating, and at the most, condescending. Ultimately, the chair, which was under warranty from Fairfield, was repaired and returned to us on November 18. I won't go into all of the detail of the back and forth with Decorum but the main point is this: we were made to feel like the enemy. There was never an expression of regret for th failure of this product nor a call from management to say we're sorry this happened. We initiated almost all communication, having to persist to find out when the chair would be repaired and returned. In fact, it felt like Decorum was mad at us for having this problem. If you want to shop for upscale home furnishings, Decorum is your store. If you want to deal with people who are genuine and who make you feel they care about your business, go elsewhere. In fact, the store staff could take lessons from their delivery team; they were courteous, good-humored and a pleasure to meet. Our greatest hope is that the Fairfield recliner does not break down again, or we will be back to square one with Decorum.
