Warning about this company, especially Sharon and their Makaha Towers unit…read more A dear friend of mine had a 12-month lease with them. He moved out at the 11-month mark and had the place professionally cleaned, yet Sharon refused to return his deposit. Instead of offering a fair solution -- like a small deduction or fine for leaving one month early -- she was completely unreasonable. We even heard a phone call recording where she was yelling at him. It was truly unprofessional. Throughout his stay, the unit had constant issues: workers coming in and out without proper notice, broken fixtures like a glass screen door that never opened, and a general appearance that made it look like a neglected or previously damaged space. It felt more like a rundown, patched-up unit than a proper rental. Do not rent from this company, and especially avoid their Makaha Towers listings. The experience was awful.

Communication was consistently unresponsive and unprofessional throughout my tenancy. What makes this worse is that I now own a rental property myself. I mentioned this directly to Alesia Borja (MRP, SRES, PSA) before our Zoom meeting. As a listing partner with those credentials, I expected her to understand the program and explain how it works. Instead, the meeting turned into a long one-hour listing presentation, and the Guaranteed Sale Program was not discussed at all, even though that was the main reason I contacted them. Her follow-up response was that she would "connect me with the broker for clarity" and that the program is not designed for sellers who want a home sold in 30 days. That felt like my question was sidestepped rather than answered. Adding to the confusion, my husband listens to Adrienne Lally and Attilio Leonardi on their Saturday morning radio show, where they consistently say that "if they cannot sell your home, they will buy it." That messaging is very clear, yet the explanation I received suggested the reality may be much more limited. Because of that, the Guaranteed Sale Program felt more like a marketing hook to draw people in rather than something clearly explained upfront. Pros: Organized general listing presentation. Cons: The Guaranteed Sale Program, heavily promoted on their website and radio show, is not what it appears to be. Despite this being the main reason I contacted them, the program was not discussed at all during the meeting.
