But when she got a little bit older we felt very comfortable seeing the Chinooks because it is a small enough park that we can keep an eye her, but my husband and I get to enjoy some baseball. They have some really terrific theme nights. The last time we visited we got to meet Milwaukee Brewers legend Rollie Fingers. parking is free, but it is a little bit of a walk to get to the park. Unlike at other places, they supply a convenient golf cart to take you up to the gate if you have a hard time walking a distance. To be honest, we sometimes take the golf cart just because our nine-year-old loves it! There is a nice variety of food available at the park along with bounce houses and some activities for kids. I highly recommend coming to check out a game here. It is affordable for a family and a great time.

The Chinooks called us "dip shits". A parent from the Chinooks tells our boys to "shut the fuck up" and when we retaliate by saying the parents were making themselves look ridiculous, another dad said two wrongs don't make a right and got mad at our parents for being upset about the swearing at children. This team never fails to make a fool out of themselves, and the parents were absolutely unhinged. nobody felt safe leaving, everyone feeling unsafe about the chinooks parents. do better, this is little league baseball.

Just watched a youth hockey game there last week. The kids really put out the effort. Lessons in figure skating and hockey are available. There are open skating times. Skates are available for rental. There are concessions available. If you like to skate, this is a fine place to pursue your hobby. Although I miss skating on a river; and occasionally falling through the ice, this ice center is a lot of fun. Hours are always changing so I would suggest calling before you go there.

The stadium is beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was exactly what you hope for at a minor league game. We loved the fun promotions, the mascot, and the overall fan experience. One of our goals is to visit ballparks around Wisconsin and collect a logo baseball from each team, so this stop was a great addition to our collection. Attended my first madison mallards game of the season yesterday. Yesterday's theme was Star Wars…read moreand it was the best. Characters were there visiting from a galaxy far, far away... There was a little rain but that didn't stop us from having fun at the Quack of a Bat! A Mallards game is must-do summer activity especially for anyone exploring Madison. Not only is it great for community spirit it's also great entertainment. The quack is back with summer fun for the whole family. Some of the Highlights of the night: Star Wars characters you find roaming around the park. Delicious ballpark food and locally brewed beers. The mallards taking home the win. My personal favorite Maverick, the Madison Mallards' superstar bat dog.

I had never been here until my team had tryouts here last night (our normal barn is undergoing some…read moreice maintenance). This is an EXCELLENT barn. The first thing I noticed was the size of this place. Apparently there's two rinks, which definitely makes sense. We were on the north rink. The stands are nice and even offer ADA/accessible seating--not something I typically expect at a rink like this. For my fellow sports photographers: absolutely my new favorite rink to shoot at. The glass is WELL maintained and clean. I can actually get "behind the post" shots here. Can't say that about many other rinks! The lighting is light years better than most other rinks. Overall, it seems to be a great rink and well-managed.

Pizza ,hot dogs, cocoa, pop, water and more. They dont sell liquor that im aware of. Plenty of parking out front and on the side. Both Boys & Girls NCAA D3 from Concordia play here. Boys Concordia club team in ACHA plays here along with plenty of youth programs. So its usually busy. But well organized, operated and maintained.

The parking lot was quite full due to a big event in the exhibition hall but at least there was no charge for parking. After finally figuring out where this event was being held we made our way into the bleachers (I know why people brought their own chairs). Not being fans it took us awhile to figure out the flow of the match and some of the rules (thanks to nearby fans who filled in the blanks). Unfortunately the PA system was so poor it was almost impossible to follow any helpful information they might have been announcing. The match last almost two hours which was pretty long and a bit repetitive- one half would have been enough. Some good action at times but a bit slow. Interesting enough to go once but I won't be rushing back.
