Thank you David. Making an appointment was an easy process. I had gotten a bad cut 3 weeks prior that was terrible and uneven. I let David know over the phone that I was a woman and head curly ethnic hair. I went in and the wait was short, there was a comfortable seating area. When I sat down in his chair and we went over what I wanted corrected and styled. I went with his recommendations and felt comfortable making that decision. Throughout the haircut he was checking in with me to make sure that everything was going well. We had a good conversation. He was very professional and his skills were good. Walked in because I was visiting from out of town and they had good reviews on yelp. I got called up for my haircut after waiting about 30 minutes by Julian he did a great job. I was just gonna get my beard trimmed only first, but I wanted my fade cleaned up since about 9 days of growth. He did a perfect job exactly what I wanted and he did my beard exactly how I wanted. Came in for a haircut and didn't have an appointment. Cool thing about this spot is that allow walk ins and it's not much of a wait.. HOWEVER, BE CAUTIOUS WITH THIS APPROACH. Eddy cut me up and left me wanting to wear a hat right before I walked out the shop. The guy is too busy yapping when he should be focusing on his trade.. he is just not good at cutting hair. When I heard my friend recommend a guy named Mitch, I knew he was the one that used to cut my hair back in the day but I just wasn't sure where he was located until now. Mitch really takes his time when he's working on me. Most places I feel really rushed, like get in and get out so they can hurry up and get to the next person, however with Mitch, I can tell that he takes pride in what he does and the quality and the results show for it. I'll be totally honest, kind of disappointed. I got an amazing fade from Sacramento while I was going to school there and showed Santos a picture of it, and gave him the numbers I was aiming for. I ended up with more of a high taper that I didn't notice until I got home later that day, but I couldn't go back to fix it before going out of town again. If I could I would rate "MITCH LORD" 0 stars. First of all he deleted my booksy review. He cut my forehead twice due to seemingly rushing and didn't even try apologize. Instead he casually put his finger over the cut to wipe the blood off. He bumped into me multiple times without apologizing. I understand that there's accidents but acknowledging a mistake is the least you could do. I've been to west coast and gotten serviced by other barbers and have had great experiences, but this was my first and last experience with this unprofessional joke of a barber. Honestly I don't care about a refund I'm mainly concerned about the health and cleanliness of anyone who sits in his chair. I recommend west coasts just not this barber. read more

Came for my 2 boys, was a little concerned with the begative reviews but felt there were plenty of good reviews for us to try. They were popping on a Monday! which is a good sign to me, in my opinon if a place is busy means that they must be good. Jose did my older boys hair, showed him what he wanted & he delivered, a real pro. Sara delivered the haircut my youngest wanted. Updated Review ... After my sons participated in their barber battle in 2016. I received a comment from the owner of the shop earlier this year 2017 responding to my 4 star review (Shown Below) saying exactly this "don't come to west coast anymore." After receiving this it was clear to me we weren't wanted here over a good review. There are plenty of Barbershops out there that appreciate everybody's business especially during these hard times we as a county are going through. Some great options are Modern Classics in Petaluma, Barber Garage in Rohnert Park and the many other great barbers in Santa Rosa. The barber I got paired with (Latina lady with "wet mop medium length hair" with dark eyebrows) acted as though she didn't want to be there nor did she give me any good feedback when I asked her what she thought would look good. Ezequiel is now at the N Dutton West Coast Cuts Shop Which by the way is a very classy looking little shop! I actually like both shops a lot they both have different styles and looks but both are fun and inviting! Over the years and having 4 sons, 3 of which go only here for haircuts I have experience them getting cuts from almost every person and trust me when I say they are all great at what they do! My boys have never left with a bad cut ever! Not to mention Jerry the owner is just a great guy in general! This is by far the coolest barbershop I've ever been to. It's crazy how far things have come along since I was a kid. When I was a kid we had grumpy old man cutting our hair and occasionally they would Nick your ear and you'd be bleeding LOL. They weren't careful it wasn't pleasant. I was given a dirty look by the despondent staff as I entered and friendly said hello. I uncomfortably mentioned that I was a few minutes early for my appointment, and was coldly asked who my appointment was with... I guess no one, since that never came up when I called earlier.
